Another grand slam. I absolutely loved this story I felt that it perfectly continued right where we left off in the last book and I loved every second of it. I would highly recommend at least skimming through Fractured Light before reading if there is a large gap between you reading these books.
The development in Orien and Elisiah’s relationship was fantastic and made my little gay heart pitter patter. I didn’t expect to like reading from multiple different perspectives besides Orien and Elisiah but I was pleasantly surprised to be equally interested in every chapter.
Overall I absolutely loved every second of this book and flew through it. I can’t wait to see where this story goes next.
P.S. this cliffhanger was diabolical and I am going to have a hard time forgiving you for making me sit in my angst until the next book is released.
The book is good. This is a sapphic romance. The two main characters have been thrust into a different world courtesy of one of their yet fully understand powers. They are trying to find a way back home. This is spicier then the first book as they get more acquainted. The smaller of the two main characters began to change in positive ways because of each other. one begins to get stronger and tougher, the other is gaining a softness at least related to there mate. This is a mythology-es book. There are a lot of secrets that become revealed and make for conflicting feelings. This does end on a the hanger that would definitely make you want to grab the next point when it comes out to. I would recommend this if you enjoy mythology-based sapphic stories with a non-binary character.
