Before the chaos, there was Clover. Lucky You is a standalone prequel to Lucky Girl. A story you can read before or after Lucky Girl, (I recommend after for the full experience). This time, Lucky isn’t chasing drama or high highs. She’s chasing love. No pain, no triggers, just romance.
Read about Clover “Lucky” Reed as she steps into a softer version of herself. Where romance feels too good to be true and happiness is finally hers for the taking. Witty, flirty, and full of sweet moments, Lucky You is the perfect rebound for the lover girls.
Lucky This book might make you that man. Read responsibly.
Oh my sweet sweet Clover and Houston! I truly wish I read this first, but I appreciate it more reading it after already experiencing Lucky Girl. Lucky Girl tore me up, but this one spread a bit of happiness. I loved how free Clover was.
When Clover said “We're so young. It's supposed to be us, forever. We just met at the wrong time.” I felt it🥹. They are truly twin flames. Moved the same way.
I loved how they let each other be exactly who they were. This added so much depth to their story and made everything hit a little harder.
I loved this prequel! I wish I read it first but hindsight, I am glad I read it after reading Lucky Girl because I have a whole new appreciation for her story and it hurts less, so i guess I can forgive A. Denise for wrecking me. 🤣Lucky was a true girls-girl and man eater, lol. I love that we got to see Lucky and Houston’s progression and promise to each other and my boy held his end of the promise until the very end. Whew! 🥺my only complaint is, I can’t believe Lucky was an Aggie + fan. My goodness 🙄🐂
this was cute! Houston & Clover. Can’t wait to see what the next book talking about since everyone talking about they happy they got their happy ending here.
I will pretend Lucky Girl did not exist and Clover and Houston got their happily ever after. I will pretend they got married. I will pretend he got drafted and she became a famous blogger and they had a boy and girl. I will not accept that she died. Lucky and Houston are alive and thriving and loving on each other in another universe and she never met that stupid rapper. Yep. This was a beautiful prequel. I cried like a baby because I read it after the book Lucky Girl. She is my favorite FMC ever. Fly high baby girl.

This was such a good prequel if I’ve ever read one! If you’ve read “Lucky Girl” then you already know how the story ends (still recovering from it)
In “Lucky You” we see how our girl Lucky and Houston have their start. This is truly their romance story. I loved everything about it, from seeing Lucky’s friends, where her sense of fashion really came from, and seeing how much her dad and brothers love her. 5/5 stars for me!
If you haven’t please read both books! I would recommend reading Lucky Girl first.
🚨🚨Arc Review 🚨🚨 My girl Clover! The ultimate girls girl! Honestly i loved her when i read Lucky Girl, but reading Lucky You made me love her even more! In this book we get a better look into her and Houston relationship, and the way he loved and poured into her was just so beautiful! I really wish the outcome was different for my girl. Overall i enjoyed this book!! Thank you for the Arc A.Denise
Reading this prequel was a breath of fresh air. To see the initial love and dynamic of Clover and Houston was amazing. Great to see Clover experience love even if it was short lived. Love it. I know it’s the prequel, but I feel it should be read after Lucky Girl. 10/10 recommend. 5 ⭐️

This was so refreshing and I liked this. I enjoyed the way Houston & Clover collided. However, the fact the first wasn’t a HEA. I liked how this ended on potential. Good vibes. Just damnnnnnnnn is all I can say. 🥹

I read this book second....while listening to Heaven Can Wait. I loved this book gave us the background and more character development. Pay attention to the small details and hints in this book. I don't think I'll ever forget Clover.
Ugh my girl Clover! It was a good glimpse of her and Houston’s before and their special moments. Even learning more about her mom and the clover chain. But him saying “I’ll cherish your daughter till the day I die” And that you did sir! 👏🏼 well done
