Rudolf Sloboda was a Slovak writer, poet, playwright and scriptwriter.

He was one of the most original and important Slovak writers in the second half of the 20th century. Most of Sloboda's writings are based on his real life and experiences. His works are characteristic for their brilliant narrative style, closely following their themes and plot, as well as for the author's profound thoughts and depth of feeling. Sloboda's books are often built on the motive of love and related motives such as jealousy, eroticism, sex, but also loneliness, faith in God and search for the meaning of life.

Tri a pol hviezdičky.
Kniha sa čítala ľahko, až prekvapivo ľahko na dielo od Rudolfa Slobodu, nie úplne mi sedel jazyk a vyjadrovanie, ale na konci knihy som sa dozvedela, že kniha bola upravovaná už aj v 1977 a pôvodný text R. S. sa nezachoval. Najviac ma prekvapil otvorený koniec knihy. Zvyknutá u autora zväčša na katastrofu v podobe vraždy či samovraždy som ostala mierne zaskočená :)
Je to dielo, ktoré by som odporučila aj mladým ľuďom práve pre jeho jednoduchý príbeh a vykreslenie života a "problémov" študentov a poukázanie na to, že nie je všetko také čierne, ako sa na prvý pohľad zdá.
