Alex Gray was born and educated in Glasgow. She worked as a folk singer, a visiting officer in the DSS and an English teacher. She has been awarded the Scottish Association of Writers Constable and Pitlochry trophies for her crime writing.

Feel conned

Not really a book was it, more like the back page blurb. We could have learnt so much more about Lorimers rise through the police. I'm sorry I paid for this.

Not a bad book in all fairness though read better it will take something to beat Inspector Rebus though read some others of hers which I thought were better.
