I watched the show like 5 times and the plot even confused me

Really good art but we’ve somehow lost even MORE moments and pacing than last issue. Alice and Beau’s deaths are now completely offscreen, N’s eyes don’t get reflected in Tessa’s helmet to foreshadow how she’s actually Cyn, the moment of Uzi and N holding hands is reduced to a singular panel, and most importantly V doesn’t have her badass moment of putting on the glasses.
The thing that made her the only one really able to fight against the sentinels? The reason she wasn’t able to get on the elevator in time? The callback to Liam Vicker’s other show Cliffside? Completely gone.
Instead, V is just fighting them without any of them trying to bootloop her for some reason and decides to sacrifice herself. The framing of this moment in the comic also doesn’t really accomplish portraying just how desperate and scared N was in that moment. In the original, he was forced to look away from V the entire time as he pleaded for her to come with them while V was slowly backing towards the elevator with the sentinels getting closer and closer until she finally cuts down the elevator. In this, N gets two panels while staring directly at her, V has her moment with Uzi, and the elevator falls while V does her salute. It’s a really stark contrast to how well it was in the show.
We also have the “MISS ME?” scene completely reframed in a way that I feel like also downgrades it, not having the tension of Uzi being temporarily fully taken over right after N, in a moment of panic, cuts off her hand. Instead her hand is cut off in a way where it could easily be mistaken for just her fingers cut off I think, she falls back, N catches her, and then she gets taken over by Cyn for the moment. It’s another case where the original series just frames the moment so much better.

.......................................... una puta mierda (ya ni vale la pena mencionarlo................... ademas me acabo de dar cuenta que los comics tienen de las descripciones finales............. mas pateticas que eh podido apreciar en mucho tiempo..............................................)
Me acabo de enterar que liam -el creador- se acaba de ir de internet por voluntad propia por la precion de la comunidad......... tengo sentimientos encontrados.... y eso explica el estos comics.... liam se fue y no tienen nada que ver con esto y tampoco quiere nada que ver con sus projectos, con ello la editorial se dio cuenta que podria aprovechar las ganancias de la ip............................... bueno..... eso seria todo... simplemente la existencia de estos comics tienen completo sentido ahora
