disappointing (contains spoilers)
I have read a few of the books from the series and this one was underwhelming. Most of the book was very mundane. The romantic relationship was surface level at best. As for the “action” it was literally 2 pages almost at the end. I also didn’t like that Killian had to basically give up his company to stay at home.

Usually Estelle does no cheating in her books...just because Pierce is an ass why not leave him? They are not married, no kids, she acts like she can't stand him from the first moment he's mentioned in the book. She's a spoiled little brat and instead of faking the funk SOULD OF LEFT HIM. Celani was already enamored of Killian from day one. It's rude and disrespectful. And im really disappointed in Estelle. Alot of her latest books have been questionable. There's a reason i took a step back from them. Apparently it wasn't long enough.😒
