Once upon a time in the British Isles, a Grand Host of Faeries, the Daoine Sidhe, or Good People, as they were known, ruled the Woodland Realm. Some members of the Faerie Court had dealings with humans. The Seelie Court was mostly benevolent, but the Unseelie Court held no goodwill for humanity; they were evil and often deadly. With the passage of time, and the Industrial Revolution, the Faerie Courts fell into obscurity. With the subsequent loss of their power and majesty, a few fled to America, where they hoped to begin a new reign. Some of the most fierce of these trooping Faeries settled in a forest near the rural town of Tanner, West Virginia. For many years, they kept an uneasy peace with the town. But then their King died, after a thousand years. A new King had to be chosen. Two of the most ambitious Faeries, Curse and Hearse, hatched a plot to get a new King chosen who would listen to their vile plans to attack Tanner. And so it was. A solitary, and reluctant, Hobgoblin, a 9-year old girl named Abigail -- along with her brother and a few friends -- discover the Faerie plan to destroy their town, and murder all who live there. Now, it comes down to the children against a blood-thirsty horde of the Faerie Realm. Whoever Wins, Lives.
