Part II picks up and lands the story in crazy, action-packed fashion. I recommend reading these together and just thinking of it as one book, it helps. After this crazy story, I’ll definitely go back and read Mastodon.

Yet again, Stred delivers with a fast-paced novella that never slows down. Parts of the world are left in shadow, and that mystery makes the trilogy special in its own way. Extra props for having a bleak ending, just the way I like it.

Ok I read Piece of Me before jumping into this one and I'm glad I did! All the little tib bits that connect the two, it was great to see.
The end to this duet, in classic Stred it ends bleakly but with a shred of hope.
And again....I need more from this facility and what it does.

I have already read Stred's Mastodon along with Kaiju Killers Part 1, and this did not disappoint. There's lots of action, plenty of story, and tentacles. Oh, man, the tentacles gave me the willies.

Burned through this pretty fast.

I will be reading more of Stred's work.

Exciting, shocking, sad and scary.

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish, just as the first and second one’s before it!
Well worth reading.
