Holyyyyyy hell. Dammit Jordan did you really have to leave it on a cliffhanger like THAT?! I mean, it would be bad enough if it was one character or two… But three?! I’m convinced you are just trying to kill us.
This installment of the series was another great read. The fact that we don’t get a heavy smut scene until that late in the book and still managed to stay this invested, is just pure skill and excellent writing by the author. The story is just so damn good and intoxicating and keeps you so drawn in to every character individually as well as synergistically. If I had to say one thing that I didn’t like… I have absolutely and fully developed an ick to Evander calling Ainsley Love. I cringe almost every single time. I read it.
I will say that I have what I think is an unpopular opinion… And that is that I hope that somehow someway the two of them incorporate Dash into their relationship.
Would definitely recommend this book and the prior ones in the series.

This book was so good!! I do wish I re read all the previous books more recently bc I feel like I was missing a lot of previously disclosed details on family history, magic, the history of the kingdoms, etc but overall still loved the book!

OMG! I have been waiting for this book for years! I am so in love with this series. I am so glad she split it instead of removing some of it so it would fit on kindle. I cannot wait to read the second part!!!!

great for emotional trauma
This is great, and terrible, but in the best way. Great as in it will make you laugh, fall in love with characters more and more, has the best banter. Terrible in the sense that you’re in for emotional damage, repeatedly. Not for the weak of heart. I’m not sure if I love Jordan or hate her right now. I need part II 😭

This series just keeps getting better and better. I’m absolutely obsessed with Jordan A Day’s bold! Ainsley is awesome! Evander is alpha but so appealing!

I absolutely love this series. This one, However, felt exceptionally long at times. Other times, I couldn’t put it down. That cliffhanger, though!!!
