Shamon brings his love for science fiction and the supernatural, and his background in the military, to deliver heartfelt love stories... torn apart by space zombies. Not to embarrass Shamon with superlatives, but as a reader of science fiction, I can say that when you need to put a book down and wake up your wife to tell her what happened in the story (about space zombies), the author has done some great work. Shamon lives with his wife, Yolanda, who chooses to write about anything but space zombies.
A veteran of the U.S. Army and a lover of all things eerie, Shamon lives in Tampa, Florida, with his wife, Yolanda (also an author), their two golden doodles, and a well-worn stack of sci-fi paperbacks. What is going on
All hell has been let lose, what is going on,now I understand the series title.Gus on Gus. Well that was a hellhole I love the guys but that was a sticky wicket as we say in the UK. Exciting,really scary and claustrophobic it left me feeling like I couldn't breathe at times and closed in,fine writings that it made you feel closed in . Now the mystery grows deeper who is behind the virus and the end result of this book,someone is playing games. So I can't wait for the next book

Out of the pan and into the Fryer
A great follow up book to the series leaving this reader wanting more. Cannot wait for the next chapter of the Tyr. From the very start you felt as if you were going through another setup, the characters did not disappoint. Gus albeit took longer but met a fitting twist of fate. I have an unsettling feeling that they should have checked for the data drive on the Jiraldi team before leaving but that may come to pass later or it may have been destroyed. The ending of the Armistice and the destruction left was amazingly described as well the final ending wormhole jump into the aftermath. I know I must wait but, I look forward to the next book.

Fast paced story with engaging characters. Shows what the military is capable of doing regardless of which side you are fighting on. Like the twists and turns throughout this book especially when you know the bad guy but somehow there is a slight chance your wrong. (But deep down you know you were right the whole time). Thanks for the ride SH.

Psyched for a 4th
I had to go all in and rate this one 5 stars. Excellent continuation of an epic story. That ending, absolute craziness!!!
I've really started to love the cast of this series, with the exception of a few, (Kirkland...ugh). The tension is so high because, as a reader, no one wants their fav characters to suffer or die. The battle scenes are well thought out and executed. On the ground and high above, in the sky. I felt like I was sitting in the captains chair, just like Jean Luc Picard.
Huge round of applause to Shamon Harper for creating this impressive world, no matter how fucked up it turns out to be. Duplicity seems to be a governmental mainstay in every galaxy across the universe.

I thought the chapter titles could be their own story. The chapter titles seemed to have perfection in their terseness. Each chapter title seemed to document what was going on in each section. In each section, the poor special operations force ('SOF') ran into a problem. The problem lay in being in the wrong place at the wrong time and the only right they are fighting for is being alive. I do applaud the craftmanship in the subgenres that this book falls into. It falls into military science fiction, zombies, and a dulled cosmic horror vein. It is a cosmic horror that isn't necessarily about people being thinned out to be utterly small and dulled. Rather, it is about the horror genre that is in the cosmos and that there is a path for them to be alive. It's simply that war has become openly a manipulating tool for others to have and develop really bad things that should be needed. I would say - must be stopped.

This series just keeps getting better. It’s packed with edge-of-your-seat action that makes it impossible to put down. While it delivers the same thrilling combat and relentless zombie hordes as previous releases, this installment really stands out with the increase in ship to ship action. The extra combat takes the excitement and tension to a whole new level. I can’t wait for the next book

Very good concept behind the last of this trilogy. I like the corrupt corporation and the espionage of two factions doing whatever it takes to bring each other down. I was very glad to return for this final installment with Jackson & Perry’s team. The team has grown on me enough that I’d like more stories of their fight against the Necroa plague. I don’t necessarily love military based zombie stories, mostly because I don’t enjoy authors who spend countless words on the types of guns and ammo used, but Harper has created sci-fi weapons that don’t require that trope. They do run out of ammo, and that is important when dealing with relentless hordes. I think this universe has room for more Necroa stories, even if it isn’t with Jackson and the team.
