In a world where a race of 10-foot-tall giants with weather abilities once roamed North America, high school senior Shelby O'Ryan moves back home to Aurora Island, USA to help open her uncle's restaurant, The Bonfire, and try to fit into society's little box. Then, she comes face-to-face with a much different kind of giant living in the forest. One that is 12 stories tall, weather-power-less, and, despite the rumors and military Humvees around him, kind of a doofus.
