Logan Gray is a writer and authorpreneur who likes to create books like artists like to create art. Description is important, but she wants to allow the reader to make the story their own. While she wants to give the reader what he or she needs to see the picture she's trying to depict, she doesn't want to fill the pages with unnecessary description to restrict how the reader views the characters or places.

While this may not appeal to all readers, she hopes it appeals to others who like you add their own touch to the story. Maybe they would rather the walls be white instead of gray. Maybe they'd like to envision the person is tall instead of average height. While the description as she sees it is there, it's not written so strongly the own interpretation cannot be made and applied. It gives the reader some creative freedom in a hobby that isn't always as flexible.

This was ok. You get a different plot here with the H being the op in an affair. He's sleeping with the same girl he's had since he was fourteen. She doesn't think Zep is good enough to be with so she's engaged to his ex best friend 10 years later. There are on page scenes with the ow. He's more or less in love with her, but it had more of a codependency feel to it. But the ow is manipulative and gaslights the H everytime. She's not a nice person and he falls for it everytime. Until he meets Misty the h and falls hard. A little too quick for me considering he's had this on and off relationship with the plastic skank he keeps letting in. He loves her daughter as well who has down syndrome. She's 8 and doesn't act like a child at all or speaks like one so it was unrealistic. She was giving him life advice. She sounded more like a teen. Zep also has a shitty father that comes out later that Zep was a product of rape. His father belongs to a rival MC that we met in a previous series from this author. Bernie the daughter of the h also had a shit father so the two bonded over this. When he's officially with Misty Zep makes the mistake of kissing the hoe ow goodbye for closure when she shows up to talk. but of course Misty sees it and breaks up with him. Shit happens with his dad and the rival club with the attempted rape of Misty. This brings the two MMCs back together. The ending has the hoe showing up once again and Misty putting her in her place finally. No epilogue as these stories continue to next story where they'll still be trying to take down the rival club.

Overall this was just ok. Some things made me roll my eyes, and some LoL. Did I think Misty was second best? Absolutely not. He was used to being used and didn't know what real love was until Misty where he could finally tell the difference. I want to mention that if you read this author's first series this one is like night and day. She's gotten much better as a writer and storyteller. But things were still too based on sex for me.

Safety:on page scenes with ow and a kiss later on. You could consider that cheating since he was with Misty at the time, but it wasn't a make out session. Mention of rape, and attempted rape. Bullying of a down syndrome child, but not overly written. Which gets taken care of by Zep.

THIS IS BOOK ONE IN THE SERIES

Quote:
"Buy me flowers for no reason sometime. I don't want flowers to be an apology. I want them to be a sign of affection and love."

Summary:
MMC has been with the OW since they were fourteen years old. He is her side piece. They used to date as teenagers. She left him for his friend but continues to seek him out for sex. FMC is MMCs new neighbor. She is a single parent. FMCs daughter becomes friends with the MMC leading to changes in both the lives of the FMC and MMC. Eventual HEA.

Review:
Shout out to whoever recommended this book in my MC Facebook Group. This is my first book by this author and I really liked it. It brings a different type of story to the mc romance trope. I loved the FMCs daughter and found her to be hilarious but also genuine.

The MMC is who surprised me. He decided he deserved better and made all the necessary changes. Yes, he made one big mistake, but he owned up to it. The way he is possessive and protective over the FMC and her daughter---loved it.

This author really knows how to write a great love story within a mc romance. I look forward to the other books in this series.

I received this arc and this is my honest opinion.
This is a MC, neighbor, single mother, small town, betrayal and some grovel, OW drama, hurt/comfort story.
Hero is a troubled and grieving person as he lost recently his father and he's a side piece for his childhood love. He becomes friends with neighbor kid who has Down Syndrome and eventually he gets involved with the mom. Heroine on the other hand is a teen mom that had to raise her kid by herself as everyone, including her parents, kicked her out. She's reluctant firstly to give in to hero but eventually she falls.
I really liked the relationship between the hero and the kid, the kid is the cutest, and I liked how he felt so vulnerable due to his childhood. Usually in MC stories, though I love them, heroes are always presented as the troubled characters that are soft with their women but what about vulnerability?
Towards the end there's some OW drama and then some action but I'm not saying anything more as I will give spoilers. The writing was smooth and overall reading it was satisfying and not tiresome. The feelings are there to make you angry, sad, touched, horrified and pissed.
I gave it 4 stars because of some minor inconsistencies and because I would have liked a little bit more grovel though I felt content at the end.

Not as good as her others

At the end of the day, this was a book about a guy who decided to cheat to say goodbye to his girlfriend. I get it. It was just a kiss, but this is a woman who he repeatedly called the love of his life throughout the whole book and then she says can I have a kiss goodbye. Any man, his right mind would say no but no, we get this. POSMMC who can’t say no? I’m sorry, but that was a joke. He was a terrible character, and after everything that the FMC has gone through in her life being a teenage parent and not only that but a teenage parent of a kid with a disability? And this is the guy you give her? I’m sorry he was not worth anything to me at all after that. Like what if she had said, can I give you a BJ as a goodbye? I mean once you cross the line of cheating you’ve crossed the line. Just a super disappointing way to end a book. And then you have a woman who literally is a doormat after who has been strong. It seems like the entire book and she ends it by being a doormat because he’s kind of a kid.

Love this book!!

This was the first time , I read her book, Now, I'm a Big Fan. This book has action, entertaining, single mom, MC VP, Down Syndrome, special girl (not because she has “Down Syndrome, but because she's smart and special), falling fast, secrets comes to life, President gone, love is not what it seams to be, F buddies, betrayal, dirty President, step family, abused, HEA ( so far) and so much more. Can't Wait, for the next book. Love it!!!

Okay but......

I was going to go with just two star's but decided on three because overall it is a good story once you get past all the sex in it! Which in my opinion actually takes away from the story itself.
