She didn’t plan on falling for a pro pickleball player. He didn’t plan on a fake relationship with her. But one sandstorm blew their plans apart.
On the eve of The Victors—the biggest professional pickleball tournament of the year—a massive sand storm tears through Palm Springs, and a flying tent pole knocks Maria Gutiérrez unconscious. She wakes up in the bed of a stranger. A very handsome, very shirtless stranger named Toby Lind, a pro pickleball player with green eyes, a crooked grin, and absolutely no interest in a relationship.
The feeling is mutual. Maria is still dodging her relentless ex-boyfriend, a powerful casino executive who won’t take no for an answer. Toby is scraping by on tournament winnings and a side hustle, desperate to prove that walking away from a six-figure tech career wasn’t the worst decision of his life. Neither of them has room for romance.
So when Toby’s sponsor pressures them into faking a relationship for tournament week, they strike a one week, five rules, and absolutely no kissing on the lips. Maria gets an ex-boyfriend blocker. Toby gets a brand boost. Easy.
Except nothing about this is easy.
Between candlelit margaritas, viral photo ops, nighttime pickleball on a homemade court, and the kind of chemistry that makes their no-kissing rule nearly impossible to follow, their fake arrangement starts feeling dangerously real. And when Maria discovers that the man threatening her beloved family restaurant is the same one who once claimed to love her, the stakes become bigger than any Grand Slam title.
Now Maria must fight for the legacy her great-grandparents built—and decide whether the guy she agreed to pretend with for seven days might be worth keeping for a lifetime.
A Pickleball Girl’s One-Week Arrangement is a closed-door, fake-dating contemporary romance for fans of Katherine Center, Kristan Higgins, and Sarah Adams—with the heart of a love letter to family, found community, and the fastest-growing sport in America.

Fake dating and sport romance.
This book followed characters who were professional pickleball players. In this book you’ll follow Maria and Tony. This was a fun read. Each of the characters were fun to get to know.
I loved the friendship that Maria and Tony had. To the fake dating that they had for a week to really helping each other out. Does the fake relationship last? Is there more? I’ve never played pickleball but it seems like it would be a fun sport. At times I wanted to keep reading when I had stuff to do lol.
If you like fake dating and sport romance you’ll like this book.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cozy, romantic, and engaging… 2 paddles up! 🏓

I really enjoyed this book and getting to read more about Maria. I thought her character was excellent in Rebecca’s first book, The Pickleball Girl Finds Her Match, and it was great to get to know her more in this story.
I found this book easy to read and very engaging. Maria and Toby were both very likable, even in slightly tense moments. I also found myself laughing out loud at times, as there are some great humorous moments with other characters as well. If you’ve read Rebecca’s other books, you’ll be happy to see familiar characters make an appearance. While this can be read as a standalone, I do think reading the previous books makes it even more enjoyable.
Without giving any spoilers, this is a perfect read for anyone looking for a cozy, romantic story without spice.
You also don’t need to be a pickleball expert to enjoy it, which I really appreciated!
This might be my favorite Whisper Hills story yet! A Pickleball Girl’s One Week Arrangement is a charming, fast-paced romance that leans into the fun, social energy of the pickleball world. Rebecca Jasmine perfectly blends humor, heart, and just the right amount of tension to keep you turning pages. The “one week arrangement” fake relationship setup is both entertaining and heartwarming, as the chemistry between Maria and Toby starts to feel all too real. I especially loved the strong sense of close family ties woven throughout the story—it added warmth, emotional depth and felt supportive and genuine. If you’re looking for a contemporary closed door romance that celebrates both romantic and familial relationships, this is a must read!

This was the first Rebecca Jasmine book, even though it was the third in the series. It was easy to jump into this series in the middle. The other couples were barely talked about.
Toby (MMC) has changed careers and is now a professional pickleball player who does not have a close relationship with his family. Maria (FMC) works at the Whisper Hills Country Club during a professional pickleball tournament. They meet during a storm, very cute. And Toby's sponsor convinces them to fake date for the week. This will help Toby with his image and Maria get some distance from her ex.
Their very different relationships with their families is important to the story.
And, the older people this book are adorable and added a lot.
Thank you BookSiren and Rebecca Jasmine for this ARC. This is my honest review.
The begging was a little slow for me, but as soon as the problem with Maria's family's resturant was introduced the pacing picked up. The main characters have what was supposed to be a one night stand within the first five chapters or so and that took me by surprise. I wasn't expecting that, and it is mentioned a few times after it happens which I didn't love, but other than that it was a nice read.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Spice: 🌶️🌶️ (2 closed door scenes between an unmarried couple) Language: !@ Drug/Alcohol Content: 🍺🍺🍺

I’ve been reading this series out of order, but the great thing is, I don’t feel like I’m missing any important info, or feel lost. We get interactions with book one’s couple, which gives me a nudge to go back and catch up with the beginning of this series. There are so many funny situations our couple get into in book three, and though I know nothing about Pickle Ball, I can definitely see it’s draw. Just the feeling of community alone. Thanks to BookSirens for this ARC, my opinions are my own.
This is a fun read. Toby changed careers and is now a professional pickleball player. He enters a tournament with his friend Caleb and finds himself with a fake girlfriend. Maria works at the venue hosting the championship and is trying to rid herself of her ex who won't leave her alone, she finds herself fake dating Toby. Their HEA will have you chuckling to yourself, do not miss this book.

This book was great! I read the whole thing on an airplane, and I couldn’t stop sharing funny quotes with my husband.
I knew this book was going to be great when there was a Dad joke in the first couple chapters. It is such a fantastic blend of banter and spice. I loved all the old people and their quotes made me laugh most of all.
If you are in a book slump and want a fake dating book that will make you swoon while you giggle this book is perfect!
I absolutely loved this book!! It was such a fun read, and a great way to start the summer reads off!
Rebecca has such a unique way of writing; making you instantly fall in love with the characters, and wanting their stories to continue to be as happy and joyful as possible.
If you are looking for a book to start off your summer Reads, I would recommend starting with this one!
What a cute read!! Toby and Maria’s relationship was a fun one from the beginning. I loved their chemistry and how they made everything they could to keep showing up for each other, even if it was one of their “rules”. Can’t wait to read the previous books from the series.
Who doesn’t love a good romance! Then combine that with pickleball for the win. This was a cute story with characters you couldn’t help but root for. Very easy read and it was a lite, fun escape from the real world for a few hours. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
As a professional pickleball player on the APP tour I loved reading this book. You’d be surprised how similarly things work out in real life, not just books. Can’t wait to read more of Rebecca Jasmin’s work!
This Romance novel is a page turner for sure... And the "pinch me" moments make you laugh out loud! There are a lot of surprises right up until the end which makes it a very enjoyable book.
Another fun visit to Whisper Hills Country Club. This story takes place during the week of a pickleball Grand Slam tournament.
Marie, who is employed at the club, is loyal, fierce and hardworking. She is forever on the go. Her friend group was entertaining and supportive.
Enter Toby, a competitor whose focus was on winning, both for the financial gain and also to support his fledgling company/business partners/friends. He had a lot to prove!
Their not quite meet-cute during a 'haboob' was hilarious and started off their one week arrangement.
There was so much to enjoy, the found family vibe from the supporting cast was top notch. Add in the shenanigans and delightful conclusion which made this an recommend read.
A Pickleball Girl’s One-Week Arrangement is my favorite story in the Whisper Hills Country Club Series. This can be read as a standalone story or enjoy it as part of the series. When Maria wakes up in the bed of Toby Lind, a handsome pro pickleball player, neither of them is looking for love. She’s dodging a powerful ex-boyfriend and he’s trying to prove he didn’t ruin his life by becoming a Pro. Romance is the last thing on their minds, but a little fake-dating pact is made with five rules, including no kissing so they can both get through the week of the tournament. Toby is looking to increase the spotlight and attention and Maria wants her Ex to leave her alone. I loved the mix of humor and heart, especially as Maria fights for her family’s restaurant and Toby fights for his future in Pickleball.
