The production for the graphic audio version is great, but the story itself could use some help. Lots of characters which made it hard to follow (similar issue I had with the audiobook for Witchcraft for Wayward Girls). Didn’t buy the ending at all. Loved the 80s references. Would have probably given it 3 stars if not for listening to this audiobook version.

Love love love!!! So glad I listened to this on graphic audio, just enhanced the book so much! All the acting and music and effects were fantastic.
This is also the first book I’ve read in a while where I was going to stop near the end to sleep but I couldn’t. I just had to keep going it was so good.
It was a little slow at some parts but was paced just enough to keep your interest. The main character is unlikeable but I was still rooting for her through the whole thing. Love/hate that she tells herself ‘I’m not stupid, I’m smart’, the proceeds to do something really stupid. It’s like a slasher movie and who done it with so much suspense.
Amazing conclusion at the end, like I said, I had 1.5 hours left and was going to bed but couldn’t. I stayed up with my jaw hanging on the edge of my seat just waiting to find out what happens.
It feels unrealistic as most slasher films do but I thought the characters themselves were done well. They all deal with what happened to them in different realistic ways. If I nearly died and couldn’t do anything about it I would also become extremely paranoid and have plans for everything.
Great read even if a few minor things annoyed me, it did live up to the hype and my expectations.

I knew that Skye would be the killer as soon as we met him. I saw that coming and how he was good with computers and had access to all their information from his mums files. Didn’t guess that Lynn would figure it out from the comic book drawings. Really good. Angry at her that she didn’t read it before hand, but she did have other things going on.
Jaw drop moment for me was that Stephanie was part of it!!! The thought mildly crossed my mind once and I was like ‘nooooo, she’s way too young for a 26 year old.’ Obvs I don’t think like those types of men, so I was blindsided. Good twist.
When Lynette got smashed in the face and was laying there I thought she actually died and then we would have switched POV to another girl like Julia or Dani. I wouldn’t have minded that cause we could have seen how Stephanie played it with the other girls, all innocent and sweet then turns again or just starts shooting. It would have been bittersweet for Lynette to finally try something to save everyone instead of running away and ends up dying. Not mad that she survives but it did feel like plot armour. You can say that you’re going to pass out and your visions blurry but you’re still running around and fighting and saved everyone didn’t you…
