ONLY THE DEAD HAVE SEEN THE LAST OF WAR.

He’s failed to kill the dangerous Colonel twice now, but as they say, the third time’s the charm. Or it should be, with the full might of Dunbar’s resistance group at his beck and call. Now all Ash has to do is marshal them into the light and take the fight to the Spartans. It’s going to be bloody, but so is everything worth doing.

Kelsey has problems of her own. Her discovery of the Double R has created more problems than solutions. Faced with dangers on two fronts—one against the Double R’s enemies and the other against Peter Lee’s encroaching mercenaries, Kelsey has her hands full. Fortunately, her new friends are no strangers to fighting, and Ash has a basement full of ammo back at the cabin.

Dunbar and its surrounding towns are powder kegs ready to blow. Known and unknown forces are converging, with the singular goal of ending the Colonel’s brutal reign before it can expand further into the rest of the country.

But the Colonel has a secret weapon, one that will forever alter the balance of power in his Baxter.

Better than the second book

Ash wasn't quite as strong as Superman in this one. And Sam doesn't really know his weapons all that well. Do a bit more research besides Google.
This looks like it'll be another long drawn out series. I'll probably make it through one more. Then call it a day.
