You, Me & ADHD: A Positive Guide to Understanding Your Brilliant Brain

Rate this book
Hi! I’m Sam. And I have ADHD.

I only found out when I was 30 years old, but my life has always felt like a bit of a rollercoaster. Sometimes, I get distracted during conversations and forget to listen. I often start new tasks before finishing the old ones. I’ve been known to lose my temper when things feel overwhelming. And once or twice I even cried into my textbooks at school when it all got too much.

But guess what? I’ve also discovered that ADHD can be my superpower! I’ve found things I love and become super passionate about them. I’ve worked hard to be the best I can be at what I enjoy. And now I know that ADHD isn’t a bad thing – in fact, I wouldn’t be me without it!

This book is lovely. Written so well for kids. I love the practical activities in it - things that can really make a difference trying them.

I think this could be a real positive way of looking and thinking for many children with ADHD. Not just children if I’m honest.

Well done Sam! It’s great.

I really enjoyed this.

I really recommend reading this on audiobook. You need to listen to Sam. I teach children who have ADHD. I am definitely neurodiverse. This book is definitely useful. I have learned different strategies not only for the children I teach but also for me as well.
