This is a nice Australian book for kids. It is about a girl, who is bullied at school overcoming her fears of the bully. This happens through her caring for a pet, she realizes that what the bully thinks does not matter. I just finished reading this to my 6 year old brother. It is a chapter book (10 chapters) But it also contains pictures throughout the book, which make it even more interesting for younger readers. They could easily read it to themselves too.
