Dom Harry still doesn't know the truth, and I'm running out of time. As I fall deeper for him, I can't hold myself back, until I start stepping over lines I shouldn't have challenged. But I've seen how far he will go for me, I know what he really wants, and I'm the only one who can give him that. Even if he hates me forever, I'll keep going until he realises I'm what he needs.
Harry My feelings for Dom have spiralled out of control, my fiancee is returning soon, and I don't know what to do. She's gone silent on me since the Gala, almost as if she knows that I called my best friend's name at the end. I'm being torn in two directions, but I can't hide from my feelings forever. And when I discover Dom's secret, there'll be nothing but pain and longing.

📚 The Story The high-stakes aftermath of the secret identity charade finally comes to a head in this emotional conclusion. Dom has spent twelve years pining for Harry, playing the role of the loyal best friend while secretly burning for him. After the explosive cliffhanger of Part One, the fallout of Dom’s deception with the phone forces everything into the light. Harry, once reserved and oblivious, must reconcile the sting of betrayal with the realization that Dom is the only person who has ever truly seen him. As the wedding bells loom, Harry and Dom have to navigate a decade of repressed desire, guilt, and a connection that refused to stay in the friend zone.
💭 My Thoughts What a fantastic, emotional, and satisfying conclusion! This duet is a wonderfully bingeable journey filled with the kind of palpable angst that keeps you on edge until the very last page. Harry’s growth was a massive highlight for me; seeing him finally find his voice and stand up for himself after years of passivity was a beautifully emotional payoff. I truly adored how "weak" he remained for Dom, creating a dynamic that was both frustrating and incredibly addictive. The chemistry and spice remained at a delicious high point, resolving the long-standing tension that had been building since their university days. Dom is such a compelling lead—his shift from the "easy flirt" to the obsessive protector who would do anything to make Harry "light up like a firework" was so well-written. While the moral ambiguity of the hidden identity and cheating tropes might be a "toughy" for some, Abigail Hunter handles it with so much heartfelt depth that you can’t help but be swept up in their passion and guilt.
✨ Roundup / Finish I loved every second of this emotionally charged journey. The transition from the university prequel to this high-stakes adult romance is seamless, and the resolution is everything I hoped for. It’s more than just a steamy read; the character development and the 12-year romantic tension make it a soul-deep story of self-discovery. I was unable to stop reading until the final chapter! If you love heavy pining, high-heat chemistry, and a "smutty good time" with actual heart, I highly recommend this duet.
I must admit this was the perfect ending for a rollercoaster ride of a story. Part 2 returns back to where we left off with Dom and Harry sexual tension steady rising but both were still afraid to just go for it. I'm not going to lie the whole time I was nervous the whole entire time like I was in the relationship. Nervous about the reaction Harry would have once he finds out, nervous about Dom constantly keeping it a secret, Nervous that Molly would find out and maybe plot some big revenge ruining Harry in the process. It was nice to see that we got more backstory on Dom and his siblings and even his mom and step-dad. I was kinda confused why Dom just didn't yank his sisters out of there I know it was mentioned in book 1 because he works alot so he got denied before. But compare to how they were living, the sisters being 15 so old enough to say where they want to live, and it seems like Dom is very financial stable, plus with the power he possess with the law and not to mention Harry connections as well it felt like it should've been a sure win. But I guess maybe London laws are very different. Nonetheless I loved how no matter day or time he was there for his sisters I could tell they had 1 half of his heart while Harry had the other half. We do get the big explosion in part 2 and while I felt bad for Dom I did infact enjoy his groveling lol. Like yes our Harry is king you better grovel and beg forgiveness. I like that Harry didn't let him off so easily neither and express himself more towards Dom. I like that as the story progress we could see Harry confidence in what he wants growing. I love that he actually communicated with Dom on why it wasn't acceptable and why he wasn't forgiving him and what effect it had on him instead of ignoring the issue he faced it head on. And Dom accepted and did alot of self reflecting. Part 2 gave me the closure that I needed and I enjoyed every minute of it. Part 1 felt like Harry story while Part 2 felt like Dom's. Side note one of the tags for this is cheating I however, didn't consider it cheating because Molly broke up with him in part 1 and left him alone to find the space she needed. So It kinda hurt my heart to see Harry agonized over what he done to Molly. To me they weren't together so Harry was fair game. But Overall another great novel to add to my collection.will recommend to others.
Y’all. The. Secret. Is. Out. And yes, it’s as messy and angsty as you thought it was going to be BUT it is worth the ride!

Dom has buried himself beneath lies, and Harry doesn’t know the truth. Harry’s fiancée is due to return, so they’re both running out of time – Dom needs to come clean, and Harry needs to address his repressed feelings for his best friend. But, telling the truth would expose how far Dom’s gone, and Dom knows what Harry really wants – him – so he can’t stop until Harry realizes that Dom is what he needs. But, once Harry finds out Dom’s secret, will deep-seated feelings be enough? Or, will only pain and longing remain?
I don’t care what you say, I was ride or ☠️ for Dom since the moment I met him. Underneath that playboy exterior in university was someone who never knew love, so didn’t know how to properly give it *cue self-sabotaging behavior*, which carried into adulthood. Harry, sweet, angel-baby Harry, has lived under immense pressure and has never been able to trust those around him. These two were dealt very different hands, yet the universe brought them together, and I was rooting for them, hard. The dedication Dom had, continuing to just be there if Harry needed him because of how much he loved Harry had me swooning and wanting to scream – the angst of it all had me on edge and just wanting to magically make it all better for both of them so they could be together. Both of these men are flawed, but their imperfections were so perfectly matched that once aligned, there was no going back!
what a conclusion to Harry and Doms story! just like the first book, this one was a smutty good time, although it was different in the way that we get to see Harry grow and stand up for himself (even though he’s still weak for Dom). i also want to give a shout out to the author for the plus size rep - seeing Harry’s struggle with his self confidence really hit home for me. ive dealt with being plus sized nearly my entire life, and it’s not easy looking in the mirror sometimes. im so glad that Dom never gets tired of telling Harry how attractive and perfect he is, everyone needs a partner with that kind of energy 🥰
if you haven’t read the first book and are interested in this duet, check out my review for Calling You Out: Part One! this story is about Harry and Dom, best friends who turn into more - but not before the world comes crashing down on them both first, due to Dom making an idiotic decision to sext Harry from his fiancée’s phone while she is out on a five week trip to Norway. the first time was a drunken mistake, the other times.. well.. not so much 😅
in Part Two, Molly (the fiancée), is back and has no idea about the sexts; in fact, Harry doesn’t even know it wasn’t her until pieces start clicking together. when he does find out, though? oh. Dom is in TROUBLE. what happens next? you’ll have to read to find out 🤭
some tidbits: 🖤 angsty 😡 🖤 spicy 🥵 🖤 friends to lovers 🖤 dirty talking Dom mixed with devoted lover Dom 🥹 🖤 plus size MC 🖤 annoying Molly being annoying 🖤 the secrets out 🫣
Well, after being left on that cliffhanger in part one, I'm happy to report that I didn't have to wait too long before getting to continue this rollercoaster with the boys.
I'm not normally one to suggest waiting for the full series to be out before reading - but the ending to part one almost did me in!
So, we're plunged straight back into things with Harry and Dom now trying to return to some kind of normality after the event on the boat and all that happened there.
Understandably, Harry is left even more confused than ever and as things start heating up between the boys, he has a lot to consider.
This storyline had me going through the wringer and I honestly couldn't keep up with how this was making me feel.
One minute I was so happy that things seemed to progress, only to have something else come up to throw things back into disarray.
I was a mess for these boys.
I can't say much more about the plot, but I will warn you that you best be ready for a bumpy ride - will it be worth it in the end? - well, you'll need to read on and find out.
I absolutely love these boys and have been rooting for them since day one.
Things were always going to be messy and complicated but despite everything that happens, you just can't help taking them both into your heart and forgiving everything.
I absolutely loved this series and I think it's one of my favourite reads - and that's saying something as I adore everything that Abby writes!
If your heart can take it - definitely go and grab a copy and dive right in, you won't regret it!
I knew as soon as it hit my inbox I was gonna devour this one especially how part 1 ended! We pick right up where part 1 ended and we have harry reeling from his kiss from dom! First thing that made me mad Molly I knew the whole I’ve been texting you as your fiancé was gonna drop we all knew this but damn it still hurt like a mofo when it did! I understood harry being furious but I also understood his lust for dom especially when dom said those words! The voicemail! That damn voicemail made me cry so much when he was listening to it! Also Molly just jumping right in like she didn’t break his heart and just wanted to get married like ew go away! I loved that dom didn’t back down even though he knew he did wrong he was going to prove his love to harry no matter how many times harry tried to push him away! But when dom got back from his family and harry was just in his house cooking away like I could feel Doms relief through the words! Their relationship wasn’t perfect but they worked at it; harry let himself be wanted by dom and I love how much dom appreciated harry and his figure we love a plus size mmc! It was done so well even when harry wanted to hide himself away! This was the perfect part two!

Part two of Calling You Out and just like part one it was good but it plays with your emotions. One minute they about to start communicating which they both have a hard time doing and they don’t listen for shit once one start talking they cut each other off Harry will get mad and think about what Dom did and Dom will try to change the subject by want to pleasure Harry. If they had better communicating development in this book the HEA would have happen sooner and the spicy would have been more. I sometime enjoy the push and pull of a relationship but the author was playing with me dangling it in my face and I’ll get excited then boom change her mind and made us what for it. I did really enjoy the constant graveling and begging that Dom did to try and win Harry back and the end they got what then been wanting for over 12years each other. I also love how protective Dom was for the people he love his sister and friends. Couldn’t stand Dom parents, they were trash and Molly can jump off a cliff for what she did to Harry and think everything changed when she came back because she now wants to get married.
Don’t get me wrong, I did love this book. I just honestly think it had way more potential.
With Harry discovering his feelings for Dom, Molly’s imminent return home, Harry’s doubts about their engagement, Harry finding out it wasn’t her he had been texting, and Dom and Harry trying to navigate this whole situation and their feelings, I feel like this book could have been way longer without feeling dragged out. Instead, some plot points seemed a bit too easily resolved (Harry and Molly’s conversation after their engagement party, for example), which took away some of the emotional impact.
I was still kicking my feet under the table, I was smiling at my Kindle screen like an idiot, and I even shed a tear at one point. But after the setup of the story in part one and how that part ended, I expected more angst, more groveling and more pining. My expectations weren’t completely met, and because of that, it didn’t quite hit as hard as the first book for me.
Part One left a bit of a cliffhanger. Part two did not disappoint. We get back to the story and Dom is still using Molly’s phone to sext with Harry.
We have some very strong emotions flowing throughout - guilt, longing, shock, anger, rage, shame, regret, love.
Harry is understandably angry with Dom after his discovery but spends a lot of time in conflict between anger and desire. Dom struggles to explain himself and his feelings, making Harry more angry. This part of the story show us how 20 years of trust is, not just broken but, smashed and how two best friends work to rebuild their relationship. In this book, we are given a deep insight into both MC emotional turmoil, how it affects their daily lives and their thought process to work through it.
I believe I said it after Part One but I’ll say it again, I’ll be looking to read more of Abby’s work after this.
Im so glad the wait between part one and part two was not very long, the cliffhanger at the end of part one left me salivating for part two. I loved that the story picked right back up where it left off and there was no weird or unexplained time jumps. I loved that the push and pull of Dom and Harry’s relationship was still there and even the way the secret was revealed.
All that being said, I was honestly expecting there to be a little more angst. I like that the book wasn’t drawn out with unnecessary fluff but it still felt like it was just missing something for me to fully connect with it the way I did with Part One. But either way, this book was still great, I greatly enjoyed this entire Duet and now I want to go back and read all of Abigail’s back log.
I received this book as an ARC from the author and these are my honest opinions.
What a great conclusion to this series! I loved the progression and growth of the relationship between Harry and Dom.
This book started where the other left off and there was a LOT that had to be worked out before any HEA could happen. I liked that the story made it believable in how the romance grew and the trials these two mmcs had to go through.
I liked how Harry isn't your typical "athletic" mmc and that he was able to work through his self worth and how he viewed himself and how Dom saw him too.
One of my favorite lines from this book was "...Every smile and kiss was something to be treasured, and I loved him even more for it..."
I definitely recommend this story for those that love their stories with a good combination of plot and romance!
This was the conclusion we all needed. Book 1 was edging to the max, and this delivered all the spice and all the groveling we needed. Harry finally stood his ground and went for what he wanted, not hiding behind the views his parents wanted. And Dom got his man. Ok, it was messed up, but he won... it counts. Absolutely incredible story, had me in Its grips the entire time. It is very hard to put down, and both characters will live freely in my head for a while. I didn't want it to end, but it was also such a beautiful ending.
Thank goodness it wasn't a long wait for part two! I was dying to know what happened between Dom and Harry! I was not disappointed!
The fallout was spectacular!! And The groveling that Dom did was top tier and done is complete Dom fashion! I loved this story so much! Harry is a bit of a hard one to nail down personality wise! He is an odd mix of pushover and strength when needed, but it worked? I'm not sure how but it did!
Part two was everything I needed and more. When I say that Abby delivered the perfect ending I absolutely 💯 mean it. I can't give details away but you will not be disappointed. The spice, banter, hurt, drama, and the emotions were all top tier. I literally ate this book up in less than a day.
Thank you Abby for the opportunity to arc this book early! It is definitely in my top 5 favorites for the year.
Finally! I was feral for this book and I finally got exactly what I wanted… I obviously can’t tell you what that is because it would spoil the entire plot for you but just know that it is explosive, steamy, and oh so satisfying! I absolutely loved these characters. They are messy and unrepentant and I absolutely loved them! This is one of those books that you must read!
Yasssss mam you ate down with this book whew dom and Harry had me going they were fighting their feelings for each other the whole time and when they finally started to communicate everything fell into place i was so Happy for them and the spice 🥵🥵 yessss you need a standing ovation for that 👏🏾 this book was amazing 😍
Loved the ending to this duet! The lies all finally came to a head and it was worth it in the end to see how things ended up for Harry and Dom. I absolutely loved the rest of this story and now I need to go back and read the first book in the series. Definitely worth the read! Thank you to the author for this great book and arc.
I finished this book in one sitting, I couldn’t get enough of it. The rollercoaster of the whole thing was amazing. I think I wanna be Harry’s best friend but fear that position has already been filled by Dom. The emotions I felt from both men were incredible and I adored it
I really wasn't sure how Dom was going to get out of the corner he backed himself into and it really blew up in his face. Also I really don't like Molly as a person she was all wrong for Harry. I'm really glad that Harry didn't just roll over and forgive Dom without some serious groveling.
Finally! Picks up were part one's cliffhanger left us. Secrets come out. An emotional rollercoaster. Hot and spicy! The perfect ending we needed for this couple.
