Private investigator Finn Calder would sooner take a Lancaster witch out to dinner than work another cheating spouse case, and that’s saying something considering the long-standing feud between their two families.
But when gorgeous Bree Jacobs lap dances her way into his investigation, Finn is convinced things are finally looking up. Until he realizes the woman he’s falling for may be the prime suspect in a brutal homicide.
Bree Lancaster Jacobs never expected to be attracted to a cocky P.I. with his share of family secrets. Not even an age-old rivalry can stop her from craving Finn’s touch. Forced to work closely with him to find the real murderer, Bree knows she’s in real danger of losing her heart to a man who could never love her.

Say You're Mine Don't Let Go Whatever It Takes Must Be Magic
Warning: Contains witches, private investigators, mistaken identities, over-protective families, murder suspects, skin-tingling forced intimacy and a love forged in magic.
A born and raised Maritimer, Sydney Somers fell in love with writing when she finished her first story, Jenny and the Glowing Green Mittens. After attempting her first book in high school, she set writing aside to focus on school. While getting her degrees in psychology and education, Sydney tried her hand at journalism between part time jobs before finally returning to her love of writing.
Twenty-five novels and novellas later, Sydney is thrilled to spend her days slaying demons, running with shape-shifter packs and making the people in her head fall wildly in love. When she’s not writing or curled up with a good book, Sydney can be found chasing after her herd of kids, talking her way into a gourmet meal, exterminating rogue dust bunnies or joking about the pending zombie apocalypse. She loves hearing from readers and invites them to contact her anytime.
Sydney Somers has returned with a second installment of the Spellbound series she kicked off with Say You're Mine. This new story from the caseload of the Calder Investigations agency stars Calder brother Finn who agrees to take a case from an old college sweetheart who suspects her husband is cheating on her and wants proof to ensure she gets the divorce settlement she’ll need to maintain her in the manner to which she’s become accustomed. Finn hates domestic cases, but Erica is an old friend, and checking out the strip club where Mason Dade’s alleged mistress works looks simple enough, until a woman who is NOT Dade’s “Candy” offers him a lap dance that will rock his world and fill his dreams in a way no woman ever has before. Since he can’t forget her, Finn becomes determined to track down the mysterious woman in red, and it soon becomes clear that she also has her own interests in Mason Dade, a shady investment broker for whom adultery is only one of his many sins. When Dade turns up murdered, and Finn’s dream-girl finds the body, the pair must work together to solve the murder before one or the other of them ends up charged with the crime while sorting out their attraction for each other and many lifetimes of old family feuds. Don’t Let Go is a lively, no holds barred crime story full of fun, suspense and red-hot romance. Finn and Bree are both strong, tough characters with a tender and vulnerable side and they’re complimented by an interesting cast of supporting actors including Rhyse and Violet from the original story, the rest of the Calder clan and Bree’s biological and chosen families. If you’re a fan of the growing genre of smart-mouth PI stories and love a good whodunit, this is a must read.
I have this story two stars because it told a very interesting story that had me hooked from the beginning but the story was interrupted with pages of explicit sex that I had to stop my reader and page through. I'm not interested in reading over and over again these blow by blow sex scenes that are not necessary to make the story. For anyone who can stomach the sex scenes at the end of just about every chapter then this is the book for you. The author is talented and really doesn't need to play her trade with sex to sell her work. The story would have been good or even better without it. I'm not a prude I don't mind it getting hot and heavy between the h and h but enough is enough.
Don’t Let Go: Spellbound Book 2 By Sydney Somers Kindle unlimited purchase Finn and Bree's story is HOT. Two families, one love. This is the second book in this series. With characters, you can fall in love with. So I'm going to keep this review short. Book 3 here I come... Spellbound: Say You’re Mine Don’t Let Go Whatever It Takes Must Be Magic Going Wild
I really despise Bree's dad. I don't know why he thought it would matter to Bree if he didn't want her to date Finn. No-one would stand between Finn and Bree. It didn't matter what feud was going on between their families.
Oh the hotness that is Bree and Finn! Their "together" scenes were unbelievably hot. I loved their playfulness and flirtation. Cute in a sexy way. I loved that they could not keep their hands off each other or stay away from one another.
It was great to get a revisit from Reece and Violet. Loved them teaming up to give Finn a hard time. Definitely some laugh out loud moments there.
The who-done-it of the story line was intense and frustrating (not in a bad way) because it seemed like they were never going to catch a break. But the twists kept the story going and me interested. I only wish I could have known more of the why the person did it. To have a little more closure on it. But I do believe the series gets better with each book.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the author.
"Don't Let Go" is the second in Somer's stellar paranormal series about a family of witchy private investigators. Although I really, really enjoyed the first book, "Say You're Mine," this second book is much longer and allowed me to really get into the world that Somers has created. Great humor, great dialogue between Finn and Bree, smexy good times. I forgot how awesome this author is. Recommended.
I really enjoyed this one. You have Finn and Bree from rival witch families falling for one another, but the kicker they don't know. This one gripped me right from the start. This book had me laughing through out the book. I loved we got to revisit Reece and Violet from book one. It has a lot of action going on in this one between the case, murder, and the love forming between Finn and Bree.
I adore this series. The characters are so much fun. Finn and Bree just make me smile. Their connection is fast and so sweet. I highly recommend this book, all of this series,to everyone.
