I miss the old Wattpad days, so here I am trying to find something similar. This was an ok book. It’s short and sweet. Which is exactly what I was looking for. It does deal with some heavy topics a little bit. The writing was good, just fast paced. I hope this author has more books because I feel like they could write some pretty good stories if they wanted to. I was surprised with how in depth she made the two main characters. If it had been longer, I would’ve liked to have gotten to know the side characters more. And maybe had a little more show rather than tell. Overall, a decent read.

A shifter MC romance that's more romance than anything..
And I am here for it! New author, new series to me, and just maybe a new favorite! I loved Lena and Savage's story. There is love, betrayal, abuse, survival, found family and fated mates. I devoured Savage and I can't wait to start book 2!

It's a good pallette cleanser series and a very quick read. Savage is a very controlled and patient alpha of his pack. Lena is running away from an abusive relationship and drives into pack territory where she has a wreck. Savage and his pack find her, and he immediately knows who she is to him when he opens her car door. Writing is very simplistic and straightforward with zero fluff, lol. It's very light on the spice, but it's still a good read imo.

Almost didn't finish
3 stars for editing. If you like a book to be mostly the author describing everything instead of learning it through conversation between characters, then this book is for you. I skimmed through a lot of this book, and I won't be reading the rest of the series.
There is not a funny line, an amusing character, and no bonding of brothers. Just facts and descriptions of feelings and thoughts.

Great story!
I loved this book! The characters were likable, the plot was good and moved at a steady pace that kept your attention. This was a shorter story and it was detailed enough to give you a great picture while not being full of unnecessary filler. If you’re looking for a good shifter romance you’ll find it here!

Well written
It was a real joy to read a shifter book that didn't sound like a junior high school version of a romance. The word building was exceptional. The story well done and the conflicts handled intelligently. I also appreciated the fact that the author did not drag out the solutions to the conflicts simply to add words to her story. An excellent start to this series.

Surprisingly good despite it being short. Didn't have any of the things I dislike. I actually could like Lena and just loved Conrad. The cover is yummy.
Much better than another book I read by this author.
I plan on continueing with this series.

Felt like info was missing
I really was into the story but as it went on I felt like there were missing pieces to the story and then at the end it felt as the author put a bunch of random info.
I enjoy the authors writing tho.. So I'm going to book 2 ♥️👀🎉

Howling great time. Decently long read good story definitely worth reading and the whole series is calling me now . The characters have depth and good backstory. Enjoy I definitely have.

Obwohl das Buch relativ kurz ist, hatte ich lange Strecken das Gefühl es passiert einfach nichts. Hinzu kommen leider häufige Wiederholungen von Phrasen/Beschreibungen und die Charaktere haben für mich nicht ausreichend Tiefe, dass ich mit ihnen mitfiebern kann.

This novel is written with a certain cadence. No, not rhyming, just descriptive and beautiful. I loved reading it. It was short but fulfilling.
