Caught Looking: A Steamy Sapphic Sports Romance

Rate this book
The count is 1-1, and Sloane Kessler is exactly where she wants to be. Until she looks at the catcher.

Sloane is the reliable machine at the top of the lineup. She puts the ball in play, keeps the line moving, and never lets anyone see her sweat. But underneath the perfect swing and the white-knuckle grip on her bat is a woman terrified of losing control.

Drew Castellano is a catcher who sees everything. She’s tall, broad-shouldered, and bears the weight of everyone else’s needs by pure instinct. When she notices a flaw in Sloane’s swing, fixing it means getting inside the batter’s head.

What starts as midnight batting cage sessions to fix a blister and a tight grip quickly escalates into something far more dangerous. Surrounded by chainlink fences and corrugated metal, the tension between them snaps. But with the pressure of the season weighing on them, Sloane has to learn how to let go of the bat, and Drew has to realize she doesn't have to carry the world alone.

I think this is my first by this author and looking forward to more.
Being well past my player days I love reading sapphic sports stories. This is the first softball story and didn’t disappoint. Well done. Wish I was back on the field.
