I hated this book. It was a waste of my time. I thought I was going to get a real romance with some steam. What I got was pornography. Granted, the blurb says there is explicit sex in it but page after page of it gets old fast.
There was no story or plot to speak of. The characters had no depth, no history, no chemistry. It was all about how many lewd ways these two could get it on. I rolled my eyes so many times and getting toward the end, I started blowing past the scenes. I was so tired of reading it and just wanted it to get it over with.
I kept hoping a story would materialize but it didn't happen. I didn't like the fact what little story existed, was based at a sex toy development firm. I didn't like the fact that Marshall is a doctor and gave up medicine to pursue this business. I thought Harper was more innocent than she was only to find out she's a total idiot.
The only saving grace was the writing was good. That's it.

Sometimes it is good to take a break from the world and dig into a hot and spicy book. I found the perfect one in this one. Just reading the synopsis for this book I knew it was going to be a winner.
Add together a hot billionaire doctor who has created a sex toy company and a sweet young lady and you have a recipe for a great read. With smoking hot scenes, light BDSM, and loads of steamy sex, this is truly a book that is going to make you sweat.
If you love hot billionaire romances, and let's face it they never get they never get old, plus they're perfect for a great respite from heavy reading, then you're going to love this book. The author created an exciting read with good character development. There is a bit of extra stress towards the end as they work to figure out life, but you do get your happily ever after which was so sweet.

Insta-Love with drama from the ex
The characters fell in love the moment they saw each other even though one was married. Thankfully the wife was conniving so that was wrapped up nice and neat. Expect lots of foreplay with toys. I skimmed he whole book. I would not recommend.

Marshall is at the top of his professional career doing exactly what he wanted to be doing but his personal life is a disaster. In the middle of a nasty divorce with a women he thought he could trust. He now second guesses everyone’s intentions. Now, if he could get his ex out of his life and figure out who inside of his company is selling design secrets he might start to heal.
Harper has been with the company about six months and every moment of that time she’s known she was playing with fire, as the “god-like” boss and her have been flirting over coffee. Little does she know that he set his sights on her from the time she walked in for her interview.
These two are both broken and not sure how to find a way out. The only way maybe for them to trust each other but can they recover from their own self destruction.
This book didn’t resonate with me, don’t get me wrong I enjoyed the story once I got past the original pursuit of Harper by her boss. It just felt like harassment and manipulation to me, almost to the point of sleazy. I like Cali’s writing style so I’m not giving up on her yet. Just because this one isn’t my favorite doesn’t mean I won’t love the next.

Book Rejected
Passion (The Billionaire's Seduction, #1) is a Contemporary Adult Romance.
While some of the scenes are good, for the most part it was just okay. It was the most repetitive book I have ever read. In fact, if all the redundant conversations and thoughts were taken out, the book would change from 168 pages to 50 pages long.
I had a really hard time finishing this book. I put it aside for awhile hoping I could come back to it with a fresh mind. That did not work. Way to much focus on everything but the main characters. Every time you thought something interesting was going to happen, it didn't. It literally took me from March 30 to May 20th to finish because I didn't want to DNF.
Lesson Learned! Save yourself when you get stuck on in a book that is Not For YOU! DNF it! Don't torture yourself.

It took me a while to finish this book because I simply disliked it that much. The plot just kind of skimmed along and the dialogue was so painful to read that it was like plucking out eyelashes one at a time.

Too predictable
This book was ok but too predictable. Please quit using the line "She let out a breath she didn't even know she was holding." If there isn't a book about the two cousins I think that would make an interesting story.

This is one spicy book. If you don't like profanity and sex scenes this book is not for you. Marshall Foley is a surgeon who left his job to start Clio, a sex toy company. It is very successful and growing very fast. They are always trying to stay ahead of their competition. They hire Harper Jones she had worked at MIT and her friend Ben told her Clio was looking for engineers. Marshall hired her and she had been there nine months. Someone in the company has been selling some of their designs before the products come out and its hurting there business. Marshall is also in the middle of a messy divorce with Claire. Claire wants him back and he wants Harper. As Harper and Marshall start to develop a relationship, Claire sets out to destroy Marshall and his relationship. As they hire a security firm to find the mole all signs point to Harper. Will Marshall trust her or think she is deceiving him like Claire is. This is a good flowing story and you will enjoy it. Can't wait for the next one

Harper has been working for Marshall's company for less than a year. She has an innovated idea for a new toy. She and Marshall start working together researching and designing new products. Harper has her own baggage and trials going on in her personal life.
With everything they each have going on, is the time really right for them to act on their attraction to each other?
I was happy to find that the writing in this book was much better than Jake's story (Ravage and Surrender). I wish more time had been spent on Harper's personal life with more details given about what she was dealing with at home, but the book mainly deals with Marshall's problems.
It is a good book with a lot going on to hold your attention.

A first time reading a book by Cali MacKay.
I enjoyed it. Great story line. I had to go and get the second one in the series so I can continue on with this story.
Marshall has not had the best of luck with women. He has a bad attraction to a new hire that he just cannot seem to get past. With someone making his life miserable he needs to stay away from Harper for her own good. But some attractions are just not that easy to ignore. Harper is one of them.
Harper has a lot on her plate. She needs to keep this job. She has worked hard for where she is at. As long as she can avoid the temptation of her boss. He wants her to work closely with him on new products. He is a temptation that she needs to stay away from.

I loved this book. Like all of Cali's books, they are well written, the characters well developed and of course the fact that Marshall is Jake's brother from a previous book, which I love, doesn't hurt. This story had it's predictable moments but the overall story was great.
Both the H/h are shying from anything that could mean commitment because of previous experiences. I love the struggles that they have separately and fight their own instincts to tell each other more. The love scenes were on par for what you would expect from Cali, hot, hot, hot. It is a great read.

This is a fabulous series! Marshall Foley is a surgeon and a part owner of a sex toy company. He is very alpha, Harper Jones is an engineer for his company. His ex wife is a conniving witch. He is trying his best to juggle everything, he does not like to fail. Hang on tight because this is a steamy tale of lust and love. The dynamic between Harper and Marshall is mouth watering. I can't wait to meet Keane next, another sexy Foley brother. This series is great. I love the book and series!

Marshall and Harper's love story has so many twist and bumps in the road. First off he is not yet divorced from his cheating soon to be ex. And the fact the ex claims she is pregnant with his child. Now there seems to be a mole/spy in his company. All info leads back to Harper. Even though this could be read ad a stand alone book it's best to read them in order to understand the family. Author Cali MacKay is one I will continue to read.

Cali MacKay has done it again with Marshal & Harper's story. Marshal really is a jerk in his pursuit of Harper as a diversion from his nasty pending divorce and trying to find a mole in his company. Can Harper forgive him? Another must read in The Billionaire's Temptation series.
Highly recommend for anyone over 18.

This is not your typical billionaire book, it is so much more than that. True love comes at unexpected times, but it doesn't matter how hard you fight it. When you love someone and know they are the one then you fight for them at all cost.

I enjoyed the story of Marshall and Harper. The tension was well built as the story progressed. A good read for a lazy day.

Well, if you're wanting to read a book with very little else besides descriptive sex then this is the book for you. There are more ways to describe the act of sex than to use the 'F...' bomb, but that was the only word used for that and in most conversations. Unfortunately that is the way many guys talk today but I was surprised she used it so much as well. The low class trashy talk took away from the little suspense and romance. This is little more than a sex book if that's what you're looking for. It is extremely rare for me to give a rating less than a five, occasionally a four, but it was a stretch to give this a three star rating.

Excellent
Another great book by Cali Mackay, this author is just great at building a really good story, that whilst being a scorching hot romance also has a genuine storyline to keep the reader engaged. Harper and Marshall are just perfect for each other and their sizzling sexual chemistry is off the charts. I was glued to each page, a thoroughly good read.

Hot and Intriguing!
Mackay is a new author for me and she didn't let me down with this light romance start to this series. Harper and Marshall are very interesting and you don't want to put the book down for wanting to know what happens next. From sex toys to conniving ex wives it keeps you hooked throughout. I definitely recommend this book!

This is my first book by this author and I loved it. Marshall is done fighting his attraction to Harper, will she finally be his? But he’s going through a nasty divorce and can he ever trust again? I felt for him as he messes up, will Harper be able to forgive him and give him another chance? I highly recommend this book and looking forward to reading more from this author.
