Mousiey has just finished reading a fantastic book written by Brynette Turner . The name of the book is called " Premonition: Dream Catcher Series Book 1. Ms Turner has you from the moment you open the very book and start reading it. The way she has the characters down and is able to describe how a police officer is able to work undercover and how someone is able to foresee some thing in the future. Is truly amazing. The scenes are described is such fine detail along with her characters. She gives the characters depth an a soul. Now please grab a cup of coffee and a nibble pull up a seat , and let me tell you about this very intriguing story.
In the beginning we find our young lady being set up on a blind date by her bestie Karen and her fiance Victor. Stephanie is introduced to Chaz but before they can really get into a good date he has to leave. He doesn't ask for her number, but she knows that they will meet again soon. Her best friends baby's arrives little Victor is born and she is his godmother. Now there is no reason why the two of them can't get married - so Karen and Victor get married with all there friends around them. Now it seems that Chaz is not what he seems to be. He is running an illegal gamble ring under a pool hall but in fact he is actually an undercover cop. His supervisor wants him to stop seeing Steph but its not an order. He says that he can not keep his focus on the job and on her. He wants to keep seeing her and no one will connect the two of them together .Chaz finally has to tell Steph what he does for a living and what he currently working on. She swears she won't tell a soul. They decide that since he cant stay in town to see her that she visit him . But then he finally asks her to move in with him. She agrees. But not all of Chaz's friends are happy for him. It seems that his ex-partner wanted her niece to hook with him . Not only that bit she thinks that Steph is making him give everything up for her. Which she isn't. Now what things you are asking?? For that you will need to read the book. Sshhh thats a secrete. And if you want to know which I am sure you do . If Chaz and Steph get married, and settle down ?? Does the case finally get to court that he was working on?? There is so many twist and turns in this story that you HAVE to read this book!! Once you start wont want to stop reading it you are done!! It is available on Amazon !!!I give this book a 10 out of 5 stars and I recommend it all readers .. SO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR DO GET IT!!!!!!

Stephanie is a good woman born with spiritual gifts who has come to a place of being bored in her life. She has good friends who she loves, a good paying job that she hates, and lives in a place that fails to feed her soul. Then she meets Chaz. The connection between them is instant.

Chaz is in a transitional place in his life. Up until recently he’d been perfectly content to continue on life status quo. However, new developments have him reevaluating everything. Now if he can only make the right decisions. Meeting Stephanie is one more thing to consider.

Content to just let the flow of life lead them, Stephanie and Chaz develop a beautiful connection based on mutual respect, admiration, and dare I say, love. The transition into each other’s worlds is anything but easy. At times there are huge monkey wrenches thrown right in to make what they are building seem impossible. But isn’t love worth fighting for?

This story chronicles their relationship through odd, and sometimes, extenuating circumstances. Her spiritual gifts play a huge part in their relationship, as well as in the basis for the storyline. The story moved along at a moderate pace with interesting characters. Chaz and Stephanie have great book chemistry. The story is well-written, but missing some elements. I would have liked more of the back story of what was going on in their lives before meeting, especially in the area of what prompted Chaz’s career choice and how Stephanie has gotten along with her ‘gift.’ Although it was apparent the story was thought out, planned well and read well, it lacked feeling. I could not FEEL the characters or their emotions. A key component in writing romance is the emotional connection readers feel with the characters, the nuances, the romantic build up. To me those things were missing. It is an interesting story and I do look forward to seeing how things play out in the next installment. To the author’s credit, the book was not left with a cliffhanger. Side note: the cover and the title did not make me think it was going to be a romance novel. They seemed geared more towards sci-fi or something of a paranormal nature. I loved the inclusion of other cultures and elements of spirituality that was present in the story.

This is my second book by this author. I was given an ARC of this book for my honest review.
I thought the title of the book was very unusual and I was interested to find out what this story could be about. The word premonition means intuition, sign, foreboding, indication, forewarning and that is exactly what this book is about.

This is Chaz and Stephanie’s story. They meet on a blind date arranged by mutual friends. From the first meeting Stephanie and Chaz feel a strong connection between them. They are comfortable and at ease with each other.
Stephanie starts having dreams about Chaz that he is in danger and this makes her very anxious that Chaz life is in danger. What she does not know is that Chaz has a dangerous job and all is not as it seems. Stephanie relies on her gift to give him important information which helps him stay ahead of the game.

Once Chaz is out of danger and they try to purse a relationship together. Stephanie (in my opinion) relies too heavily on her premonitions/gift to give her guidance in whether she should go all out in pursuing her relation with Chaz, which I was disappointed by. It appeared in the story that her gift was the strongest when Chaz was in danger but when it was just every day relationship issues, it felt as if Stephanie did not trust or have enough confidence in what the couple felt for each other to trust that alone. If felt like she need to have a dream to confirm that the couple did in fact have a future together. Chaz wanted Stephanie to trust and rely more in him too.

Stephanie: “I was going to ask you whether you believe in fate, destiny, and serendipity – whatever you want to call it”.

Chaz: “Definitely”.

The author does not share the ethnicity of the couple and as you read the story this is not an issue because this is a story about a couple finding love in unusual circumstances!

This was an enjoyable, engrossing story, with lots of mystery involved. Definitely worth the read.

Stephanie has always been intuitive and with the help of her best friend Karen and her husband Victor she has always felt at peace with her gift as well as nurtured it. When Karen and Victor introduce Stephanie to Chaz she is immediately overwhelmed with a sense of rightness. Chaz has never met anyone like Stephanie before and that scares him a little. At a time in his life when he cannot afford a distraction that is what Stephanie turns out to be. In the coming months this budding romance will be tested beyond measure. Can Stephanie deal with the truths about Chaz that are revealed to her in dreams? Can Chaz keep Stephanie safe from everything that threatens them? Will Stephanie be able to trust Chaz as much as she trusts her gifts? Great story filled with action, suspense love and a touch of the spiritual that will leave you captivated.

Stephanie and Chaz’s connection fuels Premonitions by Brynette L. Turner. Stephanie agrees to a blind date set up by her friends but when she meets Chaz there is an instant connection between them. After their initial meeting Stephanie starts having dreams and or premonitions of dangerous situations that Chaz finds himself involved in.

Stephanie has the gift of sight which normally comes to her in dreams. She starts helping Chaz once she finds out his profession as their relationship grows. Stephanie relocates and encounters some unexpected people in Chaz’s life. She relies on her gift to guide her relationship with Chaz because she has never felt this strong of a connection with anyone else. The couple’s romance seems to be too good to be true and with outside distractions, will their love prevail?

Premonitions is a romance story about two strangers meeting that don’t seem like strangers at all. The author does a wonderful job progressing the love story between the two main characters and readers can tell they are destined to be together. It did seem that Stephanie relied a little too much on her abilities or gift to make decisions and I wanted her to rely on her heart more than anything. I enjoyed this author’s writing style and look forward to reading more of her work.

This book was wonderfully, amazingly inspirational and romantic. Brynette does a wonderful job of tackling what can be seen by some as a controversial topic. Especially when it comes to religion. The dreams that Stephanie is experiencing are beyond the realms of her usual gift, as she finds herself connected in unexplainable ways to a stranger.

FBI agent, Chaz, is undercover but his heart and spirit is telling him to break all the rules. Even if it involves putting everything he has worked hard for in jeopardy.

I love how her character naturally trusts her instincts, especially where Chaz is concerned. It is a sweet tale of romance, but dealing with the spiritual in ways beyond the norm. This book addresses gifts and talents that society teaches us to ignore or downplay.

First time read of this author. This is a story of Chaz and Stephanie. Chaz begins this story as an undercover cop in the middle of his assignment. Stepahnie is an investment banker with additional skills. Each is drawn to the other after meeting through common friends. The story follows their relationship with some twists that enable Chaz to change his career goals.

Good solid read...will continue the series..needed more WOW factors for me, I look forward to the more coming..Not a cliffhanger, but you know there must be more because it is book 1..

At first I thought this would be your typical girl has vision, bad guy turned good story. I was pleasantly surprised that it was deeper than that. This is my first reading involving auras, visions (and not dealing with ghosts) and where the girl has to trust her instincts. It was well written and very direct. She touched on every aspect of each character's personality and they were believable. I look forward to reading my titles by this Author.
