Four dungeon-bornmimics. Four missing limbs. One really pissed off skater.
Judah “Rail” Langford was Portland's best skateboarder until someone pinned him under a bridge and took his arms and legs with a machete. Eleven months as a torso. Then four mimics crawled out of a gate and replaced what he a predator leg that purrs when pretty women touch it, a foundation leg that could anchor a building, an engineer arm that learns by eating blueprints, and a wildcard arm that sets everything on fire.
Each one evolves based on what he feeds it. Monster cores, dungeon stone, stolen compounds. Four mouths, infinite menu, and a man learning to cook.
Now he's grinding rails at 120 mph, trailing four-colored fire; three women are fighting over who gets to study his body (for science, mostly), and the guy who butchered him is challenging him to a public duel on livestream without knowing the “prosthetics” are alive.
Feed the limbs. Skate the line. Burn it all down in this unconventional romance for men (and women ;D).
Intricate, insightful. A new take on LitRPG. Well written with complex characters, an unusual storyline that is well written and cohesive. I could have done without the graphic sex, but that is my personal opinion. I look forward to the next book.
