I liked this book in the beginning and then I hated the rest.
The story is in first person and is done well enough that it isn't distracting.
However, this is not a romance. It is a horror story with a kinda happy ending. Bad stuff happens and the h deals with some hard choices. I feel awful after reading this and will never read it again. If the author's intention was to make you feel powerless; it worked.

This book was so weak the story line started off okay then turned to a Hot mess! I finished then book hoping that it would get better sadly it did not.

This book was a hot mess from the beginning to the end. This was no romance. This book should be in the horror section. I hated it. Thinking it was romance did not prepare me for her being kidnapped and raped, because that was what happened. So mad I wasted time on this book...

Intriguing and very original
This is a very interesting and very original storyline. Where shifters woman can’t have their own children and the men need a human vessel. When Claire starts to date Roman she thinks he’s too good to be true. Little did she know that she just might be right. Getting pregnant and stuck in a house full of shifters and a prisoner in a gilded cage. All she can think of is how to escape if that’s even possible. This story has lots of action and things going on at all times. Well written and enjoyable to read.

Great plot, great characters
For this genre, this came out above most I've read and I've read many. It has a believable heroine who is likeable and has depth to her character. She doesn't always get it right but she hangs in there. The story has good twists and turns which aren't always the obvious, which I enjoyed very much. I like to feel clever when reading but it can get boring, but not in this one. It kept my interest throughout. This is a great debut novel and I already have another by this author downloaded, so I hope her writing goes from strength to strength.

Thought this was a normal romance, not something so dark. Really was more of a horror story. The book's description doesn't give you an accurate idea as to what it's going to be about. I'm sure tons of people would love this if this was their genre. Perhaps if the author changed the description she'd pull in more of her target audience.

Ok, it's good
I gave e this novel a four because I really liked the story. But there was a lot of mistakes. Some parts were confusing. I figured it out but that's not the point. There should of been more details in some places and less in some. But I think this author has real potential. I will definitely read at least one more from her hopping will be better.

although I don't usually read thrillers I did enjoy this story I was swept away along with Claire her struggles to understand what was happening in her life , the story kept me on my toes trying to figure out how she was getting out of her troubles . I will be looking for more from this author.

Great Book
The story was great and the characters were awesome. The book grabs your attention and keep you curious about what going to happen next. Highly entertaining that keep you on your toes from beginning to end.

It was a okay read, my problem was confusion I didn't know if Roman was a bad guy are not but I do like how it ended.

It wasn't bad. It definitely had a lot of twist in it that you not expecting. Characters were definitely interesting for the most part. I feel it was to short of a book to put so much information in.

Unexpected and pretty good for a debut novel. Very readable - 3.25 stars.
