Oh how much I loved Josie and Eli’s story. You will laugh one moment then find yourself in tears several later (if you’re like me, then maybe multiple times). You could really feel them genuinely growing, in themselves and with love. And has one of my fav tropes *ahem one bed ifykyk.
I also realllly can’t wait to see how the story develops with the man characters of the next book who we get to see in this one. Colters personality is definitely gonna make it for one good book!!

A beautiful, deeply relatable reminder that love is a choice.

A novel is just a story, but the best ones are laced with both fiction and truth. On Second Thought touches on every human emotion.

The story follows Josie when she is at her lowest point…heartbroken, down on her luck, and feeling lost. But instead of giving up, she takes a massive risk, moves, and takes a new job. That single choice leads to a chance encounter. That encounter leads to something greater than she ever could have imagined.

This book has the perfect "Hallmark channel" charm, but with profound emotional depth. Josie and Eli’s journey together is incredibly relatable. It serves as a beautiful reminder that our greatest triumphs often come from our greatest defeats, and that we should never settle for less than we deserve.

My biggest takeaway from this book is its beautiful reminder about relationships, everyone is broken to some degree, but the right partner is the one who sees your best and worst traits and stays anyway. Love isn’t just a fleeting emotion…it’s a choice, an action, and a daily devotion. I couldn't recommend this story more!

It was a good book, not my typical read but it was engaging and was able to hold my interest. the characters are well written and relatable. This book was an easy read for me and I read through it in about three easy sittings. I would definitely recommend. For those readers who like romance it would be a great read, even for those who like me, don't typically read this genre.

This book is such a cute small town romance. Josie has the funniest personality. The witty banter between her and Eli kept me intrigued. They both go through some things that they grow from. Even the side characters had great development. Hoping book 2 is about Colter 👀. The epilogue was the sweetest thing!
