MCs childhood sweethearts and married for 10 years with a son. They got married very young (18) when FMC fell pregnant, and when their son became sick and he couldn’t afford the medical bills, he made a secret deal with his awful step father that ended up kicking him in the ass years later. Secrets & a wanna-be OW caused trouble in his marriage. The OW is nuts.
This is safe. MMC doesn’t physically cheat but we have perceived cheating and he makes questionable choices (especially as he repeatedly states OW is very attractive) but he supposedly has no attraction to her. Uh huh. 🙄 He does love his wife & kid though so I gave him that.
This was mostly a skim-read for me but some of my girlies who like this stuff will most likely enjoy it. I did enjoy FMC giving him hell 😁but the writing is awful. And on that topic, why does everything lately feel like it’s AI written?
“It’s not like what? It’s not like you slept with her? Congratu-fucking-lations, Trevor, on not being total scum of the earth, but you thought about it.”
“I never thought about it.” His voice drops from conciliatory to something darker.
“Bullshit! Bullshit, Trev.” I crowd him into a wall, rattling the frames, and shove my finger into his chest. “I saw you two together, cozy and in your office. You said yourself that it was a common occurrence—”
“We had working lunches, but I did let it get too casual. I know that now.”
“Do you want a fucking cookie!” I shriek, throwing my hands in the air.
“No, sweetheart. No. I don’t want a cookie. I. Want. My. Wife. Only my wife.” I see him flexing his hands as frustration starts to seep in. Good.
“There you go again! You’re her boss. And, you’re blaming her for your choices.” I poke him again, trying to budge him away. “You weren’t smart enough? You? The smartest person I’ve ever met? Bull. Shit. Trevor. You told me that you think she’s attractive, that you put your hands on her. Your blinders weren’t on, mother fucker. You could see perfectly clearly, and all of your choices led to her, not to me.”

I tried, I really did
The first book was bad too but I had higher hopes for this one.
I wanted to reach in and smack the characters in this story. I really don't understand why the mmc did if he hated the ow so much. He was also extremely naive. This is the "office romance/emotional betrayal" story. But the mmc doesn't really act like he enjoys her company. Usually it's "she sees me, i can let go with her, I'm not invisible". This has none of that. So I don't understand why the author chose it when she doesn't use it. It's disappointing.
Everyone knows that the ow pretty much gets around with multiple men.
The fmc is extremely dramatic imo. She kicks him out, refuses his visits to cook breakfast for her and their son. She's almost worse than the mmc.
The whole thing makes me feel like I'm working hard to just read it. Some side characters are very interesting. More than the mcs actually. The story has such good potential. But it's so many side characters to read about and remember. They all have love problems.
Unfortunately in all this, there's a surface feeling. It's not a deeper level which could have been done.

A high 3 but can't quite get myself to round up to 4.
I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. I'm so glad I didn't read the first one or I wouldn't have given this the time of day. I found the writing a bit confusing at times, when multiple people were talking, I had to reread some conversations.
What I struggle with the most in stories like this is when the MMC is clearly being manipulated and he has no idea. It seriously gives me the biggest ick. However, I enjoyed both leads. I mean, Trevor still gave me the ick but he really did love Paige.
They're high school sweethearts, he knocks her up and they get married. She has a very traumatic pregnancy and she was removed from her mom's insurance so the hospital bill was like half a million dollars? Trevor really steps up to provide for his family and at such a young age. He makes a deal with the devil (his dickweed father) and for the last 10 years he's been working for his family and figuring out how to get away from his family. He figures it out, doesn't tell his wife, she also has no idea about the medical debt or that his father helped them so this leads to series of him making things worse, trying to fix what went wrong then something else goes wrong.
His new assistant Krista starts working for him. She's very flirt and touchy but somehow he has no idea this is inappropriate. She is the best assistant in the world so he relied on her a lot. He stops going to lunch with his family because he'd rather go with Krista. He tells her things he's never told his own wife, confide in the OW. He even says no to having lunch when his 9 year old son asks. Not just no but "no can do for the foreseeable future" 🫠 Paige walks in on them standing verrryyy close to each other in his office. She questions it but doesn't do anything right away. But then he ditches his wife to take Krista to a concert the night he and Paige were hosting a party. And she had important news for him.
Paige has been warning him about Krista, he brushed it off. The next day they're all eating with his family, Krista is there, and Paige is giving him the silent treatment. During lunch Krista starts touching Trevor and holding his hand right in front of Paige Krista then brags about he's been taking her on lunch dates daily.
They leave and he's confused on why Paige showed up with Billy and not her own car. She she gets in his car to take her home. Immediately she's hit with the smell of Krista's perfume and sex. She finds an open condom wrapper - she's hit with the realization: he ditched his own party to go to a concert with Krista and they fucked in his car (they did not, read to see what really happened). Paige at this point is DONE. Kicks him out like 3 times before it sticks. He's all "what do WE tell our boy" 🥺 and she's like I'm not doing shit, you can tell him what you did and why you're leaving, i'm not saving you.
No idea what he actually tells their son but I imagined he lied or left a bunch of stuff out because WAY later in the book he asks what happened and if he apologized, and his dad just said he made a mistake. So he's also a coward and couldn't look his son in the eye and face what he did. I don't think he needed to give a 9 year old details but "I did something disrespectful or thoughtless," would've worked.
Anyway, they separate, he realizes his wife didn't have a car because she got into a HUGE accident the day before and her car flipped over. He doesn't answer any of her calls from the hospital. He still doesn't know at the lunch when Krista bragged about their relationship. He also finds out she's pregnant and realizes she was in an accident while pregnant and he was busy with Krista. Apparently Krista messed with his phone? I'm not sure if she deleted messages or what I honestly can't remember the details. He's rushes into the shop and finds her car completely totaled.
After Paige learns about how much time they've actually been spending together, she asks him if he's touched Krista and thinks she's attractive he tells her "yes" to both.
So at this point he realizes he fucked up and Krista was never his friend. Because you know, it wasn't already obvious I guess that HE IS HER BOSS. He's on his knees begging, crying, throwing up (this is a dramatization lmao) and Paige tells him to fuck off. GO QUEEN.
I LOVED that she didn't make excuses. I loved that she said fuck understanding. And I loved that she stood up for herself and her family when Trevor didn't.
I loved that she OWNED I'm your fucking wife jackass, I don't give a fuck about technicalities. IDGAF if it was just lunch or why you went to the concert or that you technically didn't physically cheat. You rejected your son so you could take another woman out on dates, you touched her, let her touch you (in front of me), let her make comments hat sounded like you two were together and you were cheating, you're attracted to her, let her get too close to you in her office, make sexual comments, and you left me for a concert. AND YOU LIED TO ME ABOUT ALL OF IT.
Because I really fucking hate when characters/authors minimize EVERY THING else because the H didn't go as far as fucking another woman. You don't have to cheat to disrespect your spouse. The way she went off on him. And kept going off. I liked that she wasn't angry the whole time, she had her moments but then they'd be ruined by the memories of what he did and she'd get mad and yell at him all over again. I think that was very realistic. She doesn't go from anger to forgiveness, her emotions were not linear.
We learn why he's been acting this way at work and why he actually goes to the concert. I thought they were stupid and I'm glad Paige did too. There was no reason for him to not tell Paige. He kept putting shit off and let Krista say shit and not correct her and just kept letting things snowball. Oh also -- he could've left the concert but he decided to stay and watch instead of rushing home to his wife and party.
I WILL say. When she gave birth to Jacob, Trevor did grow up. This doesn't count for nothing.
As stated, he worked for his dad, he sold his dream car to get them a reliable vehicle and he put himself through hell for 9 years to make sure Paige and Jacob never wanted for anything. And he did earn well to provide for them. If you're like "girl the bar is on the floor" I am aware! You're not wrong. But to be frank - if the average man gave up his dreams and car at 18 because he knocked a girl up and 10 years later he's working at a miserable job, he would have 100% resented his wife and child and absolutely would've fucked the hot new assistant.
There was ZERO attraction. The idiot thought they were friends. Paige was his one and ONLY 🩷 partner.
Oh I'll also add both his parents are jackasses. They talk shit about little Jacob and he overhears 😭 if that were my child I would've thrown my MIL/FIL in the fucking river with cement blocks chained to them (for legal reasons this is a joke). His parents (mostly mother) also threatened him to take care of Krista - he listened because he had a plan in place that he'd be out of his parents debt by the end of the year. So he was to keep his head down, don't stir shit, do what needs to be done and get his family away from his parents. Why couldn't he tell Paige? Great mf question.
When they finally started openly communicating with each other, it was a relief. I enjoyed the ending. I love that they were able to have more children. The way he panicked anytime something happened to Paige because he was so afraid after the first pregnancy. Paige had been uncomfortable and the medical staff ignored her and she almost died and Trevor now wealthier, older and somewhat wiser was like not this time. He was ready to fight someone to get Paige the care she needed but she ended up with a really good doctor this time.
Not sure if I'll keep reading the rest of the books as they come out. I hope this doesn't end up being a cheating series and all the MMCs have cheated on their wives in some shape or form because the author is 2 for 2 right now.
I think if you enjoyed this one and like the premise: hero does some dumb shit because of his parents and want something similar: Love, Second Chances and Other Nonsense Katie Ivey gives that vibe.

It is hard to believe that this author’s first book Logically Broken was released just a few months ago! I first discovered the author on Wattpad, actually it was before that when she was in a chat group in the betrayal and grovel group. I was hooked on that story. However, now that I have read Logic of Loyalty I think the author really stepped up her game and I didn’t think that was possible. She brought the rage, the angst, the sadness, and the happiness.
What you will find in this story:
Marriage in crisis
Emotional infidelity’
Ow drama
Om drama(low but there)
Pregnancy difficulties(teen pregnancy, difficult birth resulting in NICU , and then later infertility issues)
Villainous, cruel in laws
Sibling rivalry/alienation
Supportive friends
Cutthroat crooked coworkers
This is the love story between Paige and Trevor. They have been in love since high school and an unexpected pregnancy prompted a marriage by the age of 18. Paige didn’t have parents and Trevor’s parents kicked him out once he announced the pregnancy. This was a small town, and they were big people in a small town. One thing Paige and Trevor had was their undying love and commitment to each other. They lived by the mantra that as long as they were together they could weather any storm. And they did, but when Paige almost died giving birth and their son Jacob was placed in NICU Trevor was desperate to give his wife a proper home…so he went to the devil for assistance, his own father. His dad never did anything out of the kindness of his heart, and was always looking for an angle to benefit himself. His father finally had Trevor where he wanted him, in the family business of banking.
After the prologue, the story starts 9 plus years later. Paige and Trevor have a home, cars, and their beloved son Jacob. They were having difficulty conceiving another child, but their love was strong, or was it?
Rumor has it that Paige has something going on with the man she nannies for. Well that rumor was started by Krista, her husband’s assistant, at the bank and long time family friend and bestie of his sister Bethany. Krista has her own agenda it seems, and when Paige walks in on him and Krista looking cozy at lunch in his office things really start to ramp up. Now there was nothing explicit going on but there seemed to be a familiarity that wasn’t just business. Plus, he was doing lots of lunches with Krista. It even appears that he is prioritizing time with Krista over his family. Krista makes his work world run better, she is a great buffer between him and his dad. When he takes Krista to a concert instead of staying for the annual Fourth of July party that Paige is hosting and has hosted for years, that is the beginning of the end for Paige.
I spent a good portion of the first half of the book raging at Trevor. I despised him. There are some unexpected revelations that come out. I do not want to spoil it here. What I will say, is that Paige doesn’t forgive easily. And Trevor has to work hard to get her back. We find out more about Trevor’s life growing up and how he was systematically manipulated to treat his sister with indifference and scorn. Paige tried to be a bridge between them but things really started to change when family secrets get exposed, he and Bethany start forging a new relationship as brother and sister. I think this made me tear up as much as the reconciliation between him and Paige.
There is no physical cheating in the book and the H and h truly love each other. They come together to defeat those that tried to derail them for years. They embrace Bethany into their family unit, and she really needed someone to care! (Her story is out next!)
The author did a beautiful job with this story. And has become an auto buy for me! She gives us not 1 but 2 epilogues, and the 2nd epilogue was not only steamy but gave us an unexpected treat!

The author did a beautiful job with this story. And has become an auto buy for me! She gives us not 1 but 2 epilogues, and the 2nd epilogue was not only steamy but gave us an unexpected treat!

I loved this book! This is the second book in The Shop series and I absolutely adore this series! While Trevor and Paige showed up first in Logically Broken, but this can be read as a complete standalone. That being said I absolutely also recommend that as well, because not only was a it a great book but it does add layers to their story.
I first discovered Stella Lynn after seeing a post with some of the not so nice things that people were saying about Trevor. The post was not kind and I was instantly intrigued and had to read it. I must say that Logic of Loyalty did not disappoint! I actually did not find Trevor as bad as many others did. I seem to have developed a soft spot for the men of The Shop.
I love Paige and Trevor and there I felt the love between them from beginning to end and never doubted it for a moment. They were high school sweethearts that weathered parenthood together at a young age. It really made me root for them from the start.
Trevor was a moron at times and gave his parents way too much power in his life and that led to him making some epically bad choices where Paige was concerned. Also, I think he may have chronic foot in mouth disease. I never doubted his love for Paige, but I can’t count the number of times I 🤦🏻♀️. I really cannot picture anyone wording things worse in any given moment than him. He constantly misspoke where Krista was concerned, which maybe don’t speak glowingly of another women that you’re spending way too much time with to your wife and friends. I could not stand Krista! She was terrible friend and all around human. I cannot not possibly convey how little I liked her and how much I wanted her to suffer!
For someone who knew how evil his parents were, Trevor certainly jumped to do their bidding at any given moment no matter how little sense it made or how it would hurt him or Paige. This sounds like I didn’t like him, but I really did because he was so inept it was hard to do anything but cringe and feel bad for him. When she realized the situation was unhealthy for her, she took a step back and refused to let her husband put anyone else other than their son above her. She forced Trevor to be a better man for their family and to put her and their son first.
I loved Bethany and really enjoyed watching Trevor repair and build a relationship with his sister and the way Paige accepted her into their family as well. Bethany may be my favorite character in the series now and I don’t know that I have ever wanted to see a character get a happy ever after as much as I want her to after the way her family and even so called friends treated her. I am super happy that she is getting her own spin-off series. I can’t wait!!! I’ll really read anything that Stella Lynn writes and this book pretty much cemented her as one of my favorites! 💜

Oh, this book made me ANGRY. And I mean that as a compliment.
The Logic of Loyalty is exactly the kind of marriage-in-trouble romance I want when I pick up an angsty book. I wanted heartbreak, frustration, jealousy, OW drama, and a hero who makes terrible decisions while still being completely, hopelessly in love with his wife — and this delivered.

Meanwhile, Paige is watching another woman slowly take up space that should have belonged to her.
And THAT is what made the angst so good.
What I especially loved was that the conflict wasn't based on Trevor secretly wanting someone else. It was about loyalty, boundaries, communication, and all those seemingly small choices that can slowly destroy trust. Sometimes betrayal isn't about what you intended to do — it's about what you allowed to happen.
Paige's heartbreak felt so real. I loved that she didn't immediately forgive him just because he loved her. She made him face what he'd done and understand why it hurt.
And Trevor suffering? Trevor realizing exactly how badly he'd screwed up? Trevor having to WORK for his marriage?
Yes. Thank you. I needed every second of it.
I also loved seeing their history woven throughout the story because it made everything happening in the present hurt so much more. These two have loved each other since they were teenagers. They built a family together. Knowing how deeply Trevor has always loved Paige somehow made his choices even more frustrating.

This book utilizes one of my least favorite tropes. The miscommunication/lack of communication trope. If the story would have failed to exist if the characters would have just TALKED to each other, it ruins my enjoyment.
Trevor is nearly obsessed with his wife Paige. The events in this book that damage his marriage are so completely out of character for him. The final event that lead to Paige feeling like Trevor physically cheated on her was a disaster.
Trevor overheard his sister's boyfriend having an inappropriate conversation with Krista. Krista, the woman his own wife was already upset he was spending so much time with for lunch. And don't even get me started on the "family" dinner. That scene had my blood boiling. Anyway, he decides instead of scummy Bobby taking Krista to the concert, he will he her hero instead. (Instert eye roll here)
Only, he ditches a get together with all their friends, doesn't even SPEAK to his wife before leaving. And apparently nobody keeps their phone close by during these events. Only these events. The rest of the book, SURPRISE, phones are always handy.
He takes the ow Krista to this concert. Gets drunk with the band. Is aware of what Krista did while he was hanging with the band. Never says anything to his wife. And yes, this is separate information he with holds from her.
This event being the catalyst for the rest of the book was problematic for me because it was so unbelievable. If this event had been done better, I would have enjoyed this book more.
I also would have liked to know more about Krista and her motivations. What ended up happening with her? She was only in the story long enough to cause problems for Trevor and Paige. A small appearance towards the end and NOTHING.
This book had potential. I think the issue for me is the betrayal never felt real. As a reader, we know Trevor didn't struggle with his feelings for Krista. He was only trying to placate his mother. He was BLIND to what Krista was doing.
I am excited for Bethany's book. I really liked her character in this one.

It is the love they have for each other that made this an enthralling and satisfying story.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the hours of respite this reading has gifted me and thank the author for giving me the opportunity to enjoy the arc and provide my voluntary review.

You should read the first book, Logically Broken, but it can be read as standalone. I suggest it because they kind of run parallel and you get different perspectives.
So, the MMC, Trevor, LOVES, truly loves his wife, FMC, Paige and their son, Jacob, with his whole heart. He has loved Paige since they met in HS, accidentally got pregnant and were together ever since. However, Trevor gets himself into a situation that derails his relationship, while he’s trying to keep his father happy at work. Bring in the OW, Krista, who Trevor is now in charge of at work, per his father… Trevor has known Krista for years, she lives next door to his parents house and is his sister’s best friend. Trevor never saw what was happening until it was too late. Krista is NOT a nice person.
His parents are just plain evil human beings, and play a huge part in derailing Trevor and Paige’s relationship, almost from the beginning.
With small towns, gossiping and rumors are the main news on a daily basis, and everyone knows your business before the sun sets. Even if the rumors are no where being true. Which adds to the drama!
I don’t want to give any spoilers, there are lots of twists and turns that will keep you reading to find out what happens. Some of the side characters have their own issues that suck you in as well.
It’s a great read, will keep you wanting to turn to the next chapter - you will be asking yourself, Trevor, how can you be that oblivious to Krista’s machinations toTrevor, how did you hold it together for so long! And seeing Karma come due for several of the villains!

Stella has done it yet again, I honestly didn't think Trevor could redeem himself and that he had no way out, there are a lot of stories that rely on a therapist being introduced to understand why the MMC betrayed the FMC. A lot of the times the readers are left wanting when the FMC ends up forgiving the MMC prematurely because they did the work in therapy, but Lynn did not do that here. We are shown the depth of the characters downfall when people who are supposed to protect you end up being the villains in your life story. I absolutely hate Trevors "parents" in my mind they do not deserve the title, they are toxic from the start and played on Trevor and Paiges vulnerability. Now thats not to say Trevor didn’t royally mess up he did! But he was definitely fighting a losing battle.
Without spoiling the book I will say that Trevors choices did cause damage to his relationship but his comeback and the redemption was extremely satisfying.
If you haven't read Logically Broken i would highly recommend reading it alongside The logic of loyalty, they centre around different couples and if you love betrayal and grovel these will meet your needs.

This is the second book about this set of characters but with a focus on a different couple. Although I read the first book, I struggled to remember references to events from that book. This may be why this book felt disjointed. Loose ends were tied up but sometimes there was a big gap between the first mention and the resolution. For example, there is a mention made that the h was no longer covered by her mother's health insurance but it's not until the 95% point in the book that additional key information is provided about that fact and its impact. At one point, there is a sentence that states that the school board meeting about one of the character's position in a school was held with a positive outcome. This refers to an event in the first book that was important but it felt like the sentence was inserted without context for no purpose. It was confusing.
The h and H have been married since her pregnancy as an eighteen year old teen. Preeclampsia causes the doctors to deliver the baby three months early in order to save the h's life. The hospital bills are astronomical and the H signs a contract with his abusive father in order to provide for his family. The H doesn't share this with the h. The H's family have been controlling him and things come to a head when the parents expect him to be attentive to the daughter of a family friend/OW e.g., with daily lunches so that lunch with his wife and son are not possible. When the H leaves their Fourth of July party with the OW, the h is done. The idea that the H had to work in the bank on a July Fourth holiday did not feel authentic to me despite the author's attempt to justify it.

This is a story of Trevor and Paige. Trevor and Paige are high school sweethearts. There was an accidental pregnancy and they got married early because of that. They are completely in love with each other and their son Jacob. Supporting family at such young age is challenging but Trevor was ready to do anything for their family including working under the thumb of his cruel father. Unfortunately both of his parents are pure evil who disrespected Paige in every way and brought other woman, Krista in their lives to break up their marriage. His father appointed her under Trevor at work. Trevor still under his parents’ control was spending time with Krista because of his father’s orders. He made some serious mistakes while doing so and lost what really matters to him the most, his wife and his family. He never stopped loving Paige but redeeming himself for the mistakes he made and taking his father down and freeing him from his father’s clutches was really hard but he was determined to protect his family and win back his wife. After a long fight, many incidences and him proving his loyalty and love diligently to his family, Paige forgave him and they won together against his evil parents. They build themselves stronger together. Throughout the story, my heart was hurting for a pregnant Paige, Jacob and Trevor. Their hea brought smile on my face. I absolutely loved the story.

I liked this one better than the first one. The first the OW drama was too OTT. This one was better except the MMC acted more like an 18 year old that never grew up, and wasn’t very smart. Except he was suppose to be and felt a little disconnect there. Because in the first story he seemed way more mature than Carter but wasn’t at all. I loved how much he loved his wife but the 4 th of July drama would never have happened or at least it could have been done differently he would never have just left a party at his house to go to a concert no matter what without at least talking to his wife. That is where the story strayed for me. And became something to much for angst. Especially after what happened earlier. No way!!!
Some parts of the story were a bit confusing in the transition to where I wasn’t sure how much time went and if I missed something. Also I know the author was trying to have stories overlap with events from first book have to reread but felt timeline was a bit off there as well. I remember the 4 th of July part with Carter and Tay something happening then too. That didn’t quite add up. Still love the author and am looking forward to more. Kind of wish to have a little closure with Josh and Carri too?? And hoped to have Paige clear the air with her.

Stella Lynn has done it again! This is the second book in the shop series but can be read as a standalone. I could not put this book down and literally kept turning pages well into the early hours of the morning to find out what was going to happen next. We first meet Trevor and Paige in the first book of the series Logically Broken and I couldn’t wait for this book to dive more into their relationship. We get their backstory and how they came to be in the present. We also get insight from his past with not only Paige but his parents as well. This helps explain why Trevor makes some of the not so great choices that he does. As much as I wanted to throw my kindle against the wall at times, understanding his history and family dynamic kept my kindle safe as I continued to read on and kept turning the pages. He eventually pulls himself together and makes the right choices for himself and Paige and the children. I absolutely love Paige! Paige is such a strong FMC and I love that she doesn’t put up with his behavior and takes care of her health as well as her children’s. There was never any doubt in my mind that Trevor loves Paige and she loves him. I was so happy to see them get their HEA. And now we can officially welcome Trevor to the Moron Motors club 😂

This story is about Trevor and Paige and the dumb choices that Trevor makes that leads to his betrayal (no physical cheating). Trevor loves his wife so much, they got married when they were young as Paige fell pregnant. There were some medical issues when their son was born so Trevor had no choice but to go work for his father. His parents treat Paige horribly even installing the daughter of their friends to work for Trevor as his assistant. This creates drama and causes Paige and Trevor to have marriage problems which result in in them separating.
Trevor has always loved his wife and has never ever thought of anyone else as he loves her so much so he finally sees what's happening and sets out to fix his marriage.
I loved this book. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. There is so much more that happens and you will be cheering at the end.

Trevor and Paige have been married since their teens and have a son, Jacob. Their marriage seems to have been solid except for his toxic parents that have never been supportive of Paige. They have been trying for baby #2 but no success yet.
There is much behind the scenes machinations trying to derail their marriage - parental interference (his), OW in the form of his assistant, town gossip, his sister's boyfriend (soon to be ex). And Trevor -- I don't have one word to describe him -- makes so many questionable decisions to the point that Paige no longer trusts him and wants a separation. To say that Trevor frustrates me is putting it mildly.
But some things come to light that make you want to say, Oh, got it, but that doesn't make his actions acceptable. Their love for each other is not in doubt and Paige is no pushover. Trevor has a lightbulb moment - or maybe moments - and devises a plan to get out from under his parents' influence and be a better husband and father.
A satisfying ending for me and am looking forward to the next story in this series.

I really enjoyed this book. It follows the story of Trevor and Paige who have been together forever and are as in love as they have ever been. Trevor is working incredibly hard to provide a safe and secure life for his family and everything he does is for them. The downside is Trevor works at the bank for his Dad and receives an immense amount of pressure from his family. Pressure he succumbs to because of what they are holding over his head and also to a degree for an easy life. Trevor makes some incredibly stupid decisions when it comes to Krista (the other woman) in this book and it makes for some good angst! Paige, rightfully, is hurt and angry by Trevor's decisions but I did find her behaviour a little frustrating at times also. For the safety squad this is a safe read. There is no part of Trevor that thinks about anyone except his wife even when he is making daft decisions. I liked how all the truths came out in the end, it definitely makes Trevor's behaviour a little easier to understand. This book is definitely worth a read!

Such another great read!
I really enjoy how most of the chapters were told from Trevor's point of view. I feel like with this story, his point of view was definitely the one we needed to see more of. I think the Logic of Loyalty provides the reader with a unique view of emotional/non emotional cheating. Some people just need to open their eyes because not everything is as it seems, but communication is also a huge part of a relationship. Trevor needed to keep his word to his wife, and if he did, it would have made things easier but not fully solved their issues. The author does an amazing job of setting us up for the next story within each story and with this one being the middle one, we get glimpses of the story before this one as it's going on, as well as after which is really nice to see how it ties together. Remember, your mental health is important. Read your trigger warnings.

This is the second book in the series The Shop. I loved this book! Paige and Trevor are complete couples goals. Their love never wavered, but when boundaries were crossed and miscommunication was heavy, it definitely seemed it might. This book had enough angst, heartbreak, and comedic relief to have you rage and cry (good tears). Paige is such a loving mama bear that you can’t help to feel on her half. Trevor is a love sick puppy who was drowning in the decisions that were made when he was younger, many times I wanted to slap and hug him . Just like with the first in this series, I will forever love these characters. Stella is an amazing author and I cannot wait for the next book to come out!

What doesn't work for me in this series: because (at least) 3 different storylines/books are taking place during this story, it feels as if there are holes/missing details in places. I noticed it in the first book but it was clear in this book. I didn't enjoy that.
All in all, the book was ok. The storyline was very similar to the first book. Committed couple, OW causing drama. At least in the first book we learn why the OW was behaving that way. In this book, we never do. Krista makes comments about things going on around them and things being in motion. What? The bank stuff? That doesn't explain her personal motivations for coming onto Trevor. Also, is Krista his half sister? That was sort of floated about how similar she was to Bethany. And then dropped. And, also, ick.

Really good!
I actually really enjoyed this book. I do struggle with liking kind of out of touch or oblivious MMC which this guy really was and there were a few things that were a little unbelievable like how much money they had, etc. however, the story was actually quite well done. When it first came out, there was a bad review saying it was unreadable due to grammatical errors and it needed editing, but I did not find that. I’m pretty picky and yeah sure, I found a couple issues but they definitely were not often enough to take you out of the story. And plus I kind of expect that with Indie authors. Overall, I thought this was very well done and I really liked the strength of the FMC. I thought she was a good character and I look forward to the next book in the series.

Ok, so I like the story, and I read book 1 (interconnected but stand alone) - but I found this book confusing. The timeline didn't seem to line up. They were together 10 years, pregnant very early, but their son seems younger than he should be. Although names don't "change" throughout the book, for some reason the MMC is sometimes called by his middle name, but you don't realize this clearly.
The names of friends are simply dropped on you with no relationship mapping. IF you read book one it is a little easier but not much. Lots of references to book one without any context. And some pretty big things get dropped in to the story for seemingly no reason.
It is still a good read, the story is good, but it's a bit of a slog to understand.

Il trope è uno dei miei preferiti: marriage in trouble, troviamo i nostri protagonisti spostati da giovanissimi e innamoratissimi, ma, perchè c'è sempre un ma in questi libri, i genitori di lui sono peggio del Diavolo e sua moglie e ovviamente abbiamo una un'avvenente e ingombrante ow figlia dell'amica della suocera / madre di lui che interferiscono nella loro vita. Inizialmente Trevor non lo riesci a capire, commette qualche passo falso che fa dubitare della sua onestà, ma devo dire che alla fine ero completamente dalla sua parte per tutto quello che ha subito, fatto per la sua famiglia e per l'amore che prova per questa.

This one was a rollercoaster for me- I read the original on WP and the author changed a lot after feedback so definitely reread if WP was your only source! The mmc is genuinely in love with his wife but he makes a lot of dumb choices with the blindness of not seeing things how they look from the outside and being trapped by family shenanigans. Side note: his parents are THE WORST! The mFc got a lot of judgement from people but I honestly found her relatable. Not everyone in the real world handles tough situations the way WE think they should and she was doing her best. When she finally lets her rage fly it’s glorious. These two were super sweet to read about as they work out their drama.

We first meet Paige and Trevor in book 1. Logically Broken, it’s not too often that I am excited for books from supporting characters (My TBR is long and I get bored )BUT I have fallen in love with with the people and this community. This book grabs you from the prologue and just keeps on going. I loved the twists and turns it took, the family dynamics and the found family that we can all fall in love with. Most of all Trevor and Paige, truly a love story for the ages, knowing what he’s endured for the safety and security of his family was truly touching. I can’t wait to continue this journey.

Damn it Trevor!!! I wanted to shake him sooo much while reading this and throat punch him a few times!!! Like I get why he was doing what he was doing but being all oblivious and shit to that she devil.... COME ONE you can't hurt Paige!!! Paige is the sweetest! I love Paige as much as I loved Becky... maybe even a little more cause she is just all heart. I loved everything about this book... The parental "Shitakers" suck! I feel Trevor's love for his family and once Bethany is included in the mix it feels complete. Everyone is kinda going thru it, so you get all kinds of side drama and I can't wait to read their stories. Stella did an amazing job with this one!!!

I was confused
And I read the first book. I maybe need to read it again and then read this one again too. The OW was weird. She was all over him at parts and he would pull away but then he'd go and do something stupid. I don't think he ever wanted her, despite all the 'she's so attractive' crap he says, but there was a time or two I wondered. His mom and dad were caricatures of evil parents and I really disliked that they talked bad about their Grandson. He was just 9 and overheard it, and it hurt him. Plus his patents were fighting and separating at the same time. Like I said I need to read it again.

Trevor and Paige
So many emotions with this book. Trevor did some messed up things and though he didn’t realize the extent of his actions at the time and had reasons that he later explains, it was still hard to forgive him. When he leaves on the 4th of July from his own BBQ, Paige has had enough and makes him really work for it. Honestly I’m still not sure I have completely forgiven Trevor for the night of the 4th. Otherwise it was such a good book and I can’t wait to read Bethany’s story.

This book started out good and interesting and easy to follow then it went in circles and it would start off a chapter like you walked into a room where a conversation was already in play and you had to figure out what was going on and why. Then to top it off at like the 77% area it got boring it dragged and dragged and I kept reading hoping to see a change but nope. This is sad other books by this author have been very good. I do NOT recommend this book.
