Let me start by saying that Dominant was everything his name suggests. He might be the most delusional, possessive, and OBSESSIVE MMC I’ve encountered in a very long time. He set his sights on Regal and refused to let up, often going to extreme lengths to get her to bend to his will.
Regal was a firecracker. She was smart, self-assured, and not afraid to go after what she wanted (or didn’t want). But beneath that was a broken woman and a traumatized little girl who was constantly in survival mode and hypervigilance, especially when it came to protecting her sisters even in adulthood. Dominant was everything she didn’t want, but also everything she needed in order to heal. He forced her to confront her need for control and basically strong-armed her into vulnerability.
And while the cat-and-mouse dynamic went on longer than some readers may enjoy, I actually liked seeing how their relationship evolved once she finally let her walls down. Don’t look for character growth in Dominant though. He is who he is from start to finish across 551 pages. That said, I can’t lie… I admire him and his level of unhinged loyalty because he really didn’t play about his wife 😭
There were a LOT of plot points in this book, and every character seemed to be carrying secrets. After a while, it did get a bit overwhelming trying to keep track of everything and all the moving parts. There was constantly something happening…fighting, sex, murder, miscommunication, lies, and more.
Given all the secrets and the sisters’ dynamics, I do wonder if the reasoning behind everyone’s secrecy will ever be fully addressed. With so much going on, it’s also hard to tell which direction the author plans to take the series going forward. While the book technically ends on a “cliffhanger,” Regal and Dominant’s story feels complete, and the cliffhanger feels more like a transition into the next couple’s arc than an unresolved ending.
Overall, this was an absolutely enjoyable, engaging, and chaotic read.

Secrets are never meant to be kept!
Let me start of by saying this multi layered book was soooo powerful. If you’re a true Elle M. fan you’re gonna love it and if you’re not yet buckle up you will be. It is full of drama, passion, secrets, wealthy folks, lies, and chaos. Dominant is his name. He’s clingy, controlling, powerful, possessive, yet loving and protective all of which things Regal doesn’t want or shall I say runs from. She has endured so much it’s indescribable but she’s indestructible and refuses to crumble. She has two younger sisters Rachel and Regina that depend on her for love and guidance. She’s their voice and protection. Dominant plans on making Regal his but comes on very strong which turns her on and off at the same time. Determined to make her his he attempts to control her in a loving way yet peel back her layers. His methods are very unethical at times but she doesn’t cower down and they entice and take each other on wild rides. They attempt to prove their dominance and realize they feel the same for each other and he just wants her to let him in so he can love her properly and protect her and those closest to her from the demons they constantly run from. I’m ready for the next book because it has to be one.

Raised by a hateful mother whom Regal and her sisters refer to as "the womb," Regal has built walls around her heart and a tough exterior to protect herself. In her mind, a man can do nothing for her except provide a good time and then leave. So when Dominant enters the picture needing a wife and sets his sights on Regal, she wants absolutely no parts of his plan.
Watching their story unfold was both entertaining and emotional as Regal was forced to confront her past while Dominant patiently worked to earn her trust. Their chemistry was undeniable, but what I loved most was seeing Regal discover that vulnerability is not weakness.
Elle Madearis did her big one with this Legacy story. The world-building was amazing. I felt like I was right there in Zandis Pointe alongside the other characters, watching Regal and Dominant's journey play out in real time.
I also loved getting to know the characters and cannot wait for more stories about the Nichols sisters. If you enjoy strong heroines, determined heroes, family dynamics, and a love story that feels earned, Regal is definitely worth the read.

Idk how I feel about this one
I’ve read few of this author paranormal books and really enjoyed them but this idk.
I think it was written well but after about 50% I got confused with story trajectory. Like it has so much going on and jumped around. I was really confused what the plot was anymore. It’s a super slow burn too
I knew that dad knew about the abuse after he showed up the house after they got married.
There is no character development in this book even at 95% when they were in therapy Dominant was a narcissist, and I feel like he was triggering Regal but didn’t even care as long as he got his way and she didn’t care as long as they got🌶️
I think I only liked Channing and Bianca and she barely was around 😭
Overall, I thought this book has so much potential. I really did enjoy the first half.

Kept reading for secrets but romance stalled
By a certain point I just couldn't with Regal anymore. The romance stayed on one level of conflict for almost the entire book so I decided to shift focus into liking Dominant and the secrets being revealed. The little mini mysteries were intriguing and Dominant was a great unhinged MMC. He's one of my fav tropes, unhinged for her. You will get Black elite wealth on page, some cat and mouse back and forth and intelligence but for me Regal's mistrust went on too long. Past time it made reasonable sense from a reasonable lady. The HEA was nice and does leave a lasting impression but getting there was not a fun romance arc experience in anyway. Truly devolved courtship to "making you mad makes my dick hard" and that's how their dynamic goes without deeper layers until late in the book.

Ms. Madearis has done it again!
This was fire! Ms. Madearis has written her best novel yet. The character development and the story is just so well written and captivating. I couldn’t put this down! The sisters were so traumatized and each finds a love that helps them through it all. Can I say how crazy Dominant was? I mean certifiable. Their romance was fast paced and filled with twists and turns. I love an MC that goes after what he wants and does play about it. This read had so many supporting characters that I’m praying they all get a story. You won’t be disappointed with this read, so check it out. Well done Ms. Madearis, well done!!

whew the trauma.
This was good, however these sisters pissed me off with all their secrets even from each other especially Rachel and Regina. Leah was pure evil and I can’t believe their dad but it does makes sense that he knew. Speak of being whipped. Also dominant was certified crazy but I loved his antics I love a crazy man that fights for his woman no matter how insane he is. 🤭

Wow…what a story 😳
This was a good time. I enjoyed the story, pace and characters so much. The twists and turns were all over the place. These people went through some stuff. I knew after reading that prologue I was in for a good time but I was not expecting this. What a way to tell a story 👏. Now I need more. There are still some connections that need explaining. ❤️d this book. Can’t wait to see what comes next from this series.

This book was a good thicky. The story was so good. I didn't know which direction I wanted Regal and Dominant to go. The sisters had me emotional and the ending was just chefs kiss. These characters know how to hold secrets for sure! I can't wait to read the next book. I'm invested in everybody's stories.

Amazing Read!!!!
It took me awhile because I wanted to choke Regal and Dom with the back and forth at the beginning. However after getting deeper and deeper into it I understood what the author said about slow burn. Absolutely loved it however I got a feeling this won’t be the end to Ronald!!! Can’t wait to read more about these sisters.

Dominant was everything, demanding, defiant, dark and DOMINANT. Regal was brilliant, calculated, strong while also being fractured. They made a hell of a couple while the road to love was arduous they made it something beautiful.
