In this weird attempt to breathe new light into the typical Zombie-Apocalypse stories, a young man encounters a virus which rapidly spreads across the country and it is accompanied by unexplained blackouts. Follow him on his uniquely viewed quest to a quarantine zone stationed in the esteemed Hills High School where he plans to reunite with his family and wait out a cure. His Ten Day journey will lead him through unimaginable horrors and force him to face new and harsh realities. Author William 'Jack Thomas' wrote this story as social commentary using commonly "hated" or disliked methods of writing. These methods include simplistic vocabulary, word repetition, random patterns in thought which convert to odd grammar inconsistencies, extreme detail to useless and irrelevant information, redundancy, childish jokes, odd and obscure thoughts, poetry and much more. This entire story has been written using methods that tend to be hated by the common thinker. Much of the writing techniques in this story are used because they are so vastly hated that it’s prompted me to wonder who decided how a good story should be told. A good story should be told how the writer would like, with as much nonsense as he pleases and if someone dislikes it then too bad for them because it’s the writers work and right to do as he pleases with his work. In this particular case I've written this book how I wish. This story is told through the main character using the way I think and speak in reality. Because I repeat words, because I don’t speak using vivid metaphors and because I think of useless and irrelevant details from moment to moment the main character and people around him do the same. If you want a commonly written story, don’t read this one, because it’s written more to how people in reality actually tell a story rather than the cliché world of extremely literate and metaphoric civilizations that exist in the common closed minded novel format. I’ve used the people around me and myself to build this world. Refer to first comment for stupidity this warning is meant to avoid. Avoid this story if you want to read the same thing you already have a million other times. Anyway Enjoy the story!
