Aylette needs inspiration for her book and she needs a real man for that inspiration. She goes to Chartreuse Pub for her inspiration and meets McCoy. McCoy is a one and done kind of man and when he sees Aylette he thinks he's got his one. As he gets to know Aylette he's smitten but will Aylette, who has some commitment issues truly let him in. Fast paced steamy read, great couple and a happy ending. Can't get better than that.

McCoy and Aylette

Aylette needs new inspiration for her next book. So she heads to the pub to maybe find inspiration in the form of a man for a night. Instead she finds McCoy, A man that usually is a one and done man but wants more from her. A snowstorm brings them together but a fear of commitment tears them apart.

Ally Crew and Brynn Hale's wonderful collab Chartreuse Clover Pub series continues with McCoy's story. Romance writer Aylette is having a difficult time finishing her most recent book, and her last was rather lacklustre after a bad breakup. Looking for a one-night stand to get her creative juices going, she heads down to the Chartreuse Clover Pub, owned by her roommate Becca's father. McCoy, a tatted-up Irish bartender at the pub is off for the night, but pops into the pub for a drink and soon finds he is the object of Aylette's come-hither stare. These two have instant chemistry - and one-night turns into a few days when a snowstorm blankets the city. Aylette finds herself inspired, but pushes McCoy away while battling her past hurts. This is a fun and entertaining instalove romance, with a roguish but swoon-y hero and a smart and sassy heroine.

Aylette is a romance writer who is having trouble with her muse and needs a little inspiration, so she heads to the Pub. From the moment she sees McCoy, she's inspired and feeling things she's never felt before. They had one steamy night together, and that was all she needed, or so she thought. This is a steamy read about two people who never imagined that one night at the pub would turn into so much more. I loved how the author brought Aylette and McCoy together, and I was cheering them on to get their happily ever after. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

McCoy is a love em and leave them kind of guy until he meets his match. Aylette, a writer, is looking for inspiration not forever. Quick romance with humor, sizzling passion, banter, doubts, hurt, realizations, and a sweet HEA. Enjoyed McCoy and Aylette’s love journey.
