Outstanding read. Book 2 is great, and continues Danny “Feathers” Archer’s journey as a more experienced Blade and his merry band of Bravo troop mates on various missions.
Love the camaraderie and humor the characters display throughout the books, and the attention to detail and well researched material Mr. Black gathered for the second installment of “The Blades”.
My second Blades book and I love them both. Written very well, very gritty. No over the top action, but well thought out. Finally an author who shows us readers why his characters are considered Tier One Operators. He displays their tradecraft and reasoning behind their actions. The British Spec Ops soldiers (Blades) are pretty darn good. I will be on the look-out for Book 3 and more of the Blades.
