Seriously one of my favorite reads of the year so far. Jordyn seems to have a way of just writing hockey romance the way to just pull you in and make you fall in love with her characters over and over again!! I fear that I say this every time I read another one of her books but I think this one is my favorite of the series so far!

Nothing like blowing off a little steam and heading to Vegas for a good time. But when you wake up having had way too good of a time, what happens in Vegas doesn't stay there!

Claire is the captain of her college hockey team. Her adoptive parents don't live local so she doesn't have anyone that comes to her games. She does have a brother, Ellis, that she recently found but he is a pro hockey player and not in town for many of her games. She is besties with Luke who is on the same team as Ellis, yet he does manage to show up for her.

Luke is known as a playboy but since he has been hanging out with Claire he hasn't been dating. She is his best friend but he can't deny that there are some feelings there. When they wake up married in Vegas he's not that freaked out about it. He is actually in danger of losing some of his sponsor contracts so he asks Claire to stay married for a bit.

You can only pretend for so long until real feelings will start to get involved. Claire really likes her husband and Luke doesn't want to ever let Claire go. He has to find a way to date his wife and convince her that there could be an option that involves forever.

Luke will make you swoon! Claire is relatable and it's a little sad with how independent she has had to be. This duo has no idea that they are a power couple and you will be cheering them on the whole book.

We’re back with the Grizzlies! Book 3 in the series, a standalone with interconnected characters following the players from the Minnesota Grizzlies Hockey team. This book gives us the story of Luke and Claire. Luke is best friends with Ellis (book 2) and he’s also Claire’s brother who gets pretty upset when he finds out Luke and Claire accidentally got married in Vegas! I do wonder how accidental this was, Luke had been solidly pining and in love with Claire for a very long time, and now he’s hoping to stay married, under the guise of benefitting his career to hope that time will get her to catch up on the feelings. For Claire, this is the perfect family found story, despite having her brother around, she’s felt so alone, but Luke - the perfect cinnamon roll he is, can see right through her front. These two were a dream together, a perfect fit. Thoroughly enjoyed this story and can’t wait to read more… perhaps Austin is next?!

I voluntarily reviewed a free advance copy of this book provided by the author. The opinions expressed are my own.

I received an ARC of this story & absolutely loved it. I've read the other two books in this series, but I think this one might be my favorite. These can definitely be read on their own, but it's a good idea to start at the beginning & get to know all the characters in their group a little better. Luke is literally a perfect green flag MMC & I love that Claire is an FMC with clear goals that she's accomplishing & still makes time to invest in those she loves. Throwing in their two crazy schedules with being newly & unexpectedly married would overwhelm anyone, but you can genuinely feel the friendship that was already there allowing them to push through & take care of each other. I also wanted to punch big brother Ellis a couple of times lol. This is an open door spice 🌶🌶

I received a copy of this for my honest review

In this story our FMC is not only attempting to manage a college course load, she is also on the hockey team and she just recently discovered that although she grew up with adoptive parents and as an only child - she actually has an older brother who plays professional hockey. Through this and other friends she has become close with his teammate - and our MMC. He has gone from playboy to down bad for his teammates sister, and it's not exactly a secret - well to everyone but her. When he decides to celebrate in Vegas after her 21 birthday things get complicated, as they wake up married. But instead of an annulment they decide this can help him keep sponsors, showing he's settling down, and although she doesn't out right ask for it - she gets someone in her corner, to show up for her when no one else really is.

Writing a series of books is always tricky, especially when the first two books were outstanding. With book 3 in the Minnesota Grizzlies series, Jordyn Griffin nailed it again. Even better, this is my favourite one so far, just as Luke is my favourite Grizzly! I mean, that man … 🥵

If you’ve read the previous books, you already know Lukas and Claire. They’re both driven, lovable, and very loyal. These characteristics get a more in depth exploration in Accidental Assist. It’s beautiful to see how their loyalty and love for friends shift into loyalty toward each other. Their relationship is built on a strong friendship, which blossoms into a deep love you might envy if you haven’t experienced it yourself.

Jordyn Griffin has a very accessible, clear, and easy-to-follow writing style. The setting is realistic, the story is chronological, and the plot is predictable, but in a wonderful and sweet way. Just what I needed, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, wholesome, cozy read this spring or summer.

This book made me so happy!

Luke is the TOTAL package! A hockey player who falls first & is the SWEETEST hubby known to man! Luke makes all other book boyfriends seem like red flags. I ADORED him!

From friends, to waking up in Vegas married, Claire and Luke are the cutest couple!

The way Luke was ALWAYS there for Claire, protecting her, keeping her from being lonely, sticking up for her, making her his FIRST priority. Swooooon!

Claire is a sweet character, hardworking and loyal. But, I couldn’t relate to her. Like girl! How do you not know that Luke is totally obsessed with you? & how can you not know if you even like him. I know you are still a “baby” but dang girl. Common sense. I did like her though.

Such a cute story! This is a standalone in a series, but reading every book makes it better.

This is the third book in the Minnesota Grizzlies series and it was my favorite! Claire and Luke were soo cute together. After a drunk night in Vegas, they accidentally get married and we all know how that always works out. Luke was adorable and would do anything for Claire. He was always there for her when no one else ever was including her own brother.

I absolutely loved everything about their story and did not want it to end! Thank you Jordyn Griffin and Elaines.Proofreading.Editing for the ARC. All thoughts are my own

Ok I really liked this story! Luke and Claire have been friends for a while.. after a drunken night in Vegas they end up ... married!

The ins and out of them navigating marriage with their respective hockey careers and her college life was so fun to read.. seeing them fall in love was beautiful to witness..

The story was a bit of a slow burn but I really liked the progression of their relationship!

Thank you to Jordyn Griffin for providing me with a copy. The following review represents my honest opinion.

I really enjoyed this story! The dynamic of being married before falling in love and then falling in love during the marriage is so well-written and so cute. The story takes place over a long period of time with a number of time jumps which was slightly confusing in the beginning but overall didn't detract too much from my enjoyment of the story.

I liked this book okay. I almost wish there was a little flashback to what actually was said/done when they got married just to itch that part of my brain because I am a curious reader and I like to know things.

It was nice to see the progress of the friend group and how everyone is growing and adjusting together.

I loved this book! I was a little confused at the beginning but everything sorted out in the middle. I wish we got a flashback of what happened in Vegas. I love a good marriage of connivence trope. Luke is probably my favorite MMC, he’s such a good guy!!

This was book 3 in the series and it was just as good as the last two! Lukas and Claire have such a great dynamic, their relationship based on a very solid friendship. It was beautiful to see them develop feelings and deepen them over time. Beautiful story.
