All I can say about this book is that it seems to be half baked from beginning to end. Is this truly the story of two awful people who got lucky enough to get their wedding turn hellish thus not having to go through with it? None of the characters are fully fleshed and the multiple POVs work against the novel and not for it. Character motivations? Yes we’re supposed to get them but can we really get behind any of them? I don’t think so l.

“Wedding Nightmare” by Susan Specht Oram is exactly what the title promises, an absolute disaster in the best way possible. From the start, it feels like anything that can go wrong does go wrong, and not all of it is just innocent bad luck. The tension builds as the chaos unfolds, making it impossible to look away.
This was a quick, gripping read that had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. The pacing keeps the story moving fast, and I couldn’t put it down until I saw how everything would play out. If you enjoy suspense with plenty of shocking moments, this one is definitely worth picking up.

This was a wedding from hell. Everything that could go wrong went wrong including rainy weather, a broken ferry with the bridal party aboard and uninvited guests, one with deadly intentions. This book is a fast read but packed full of excitement. Who will survive the wedding? I enjoyed seeing familiar characters from A Chilling Christmas Eve and the way each chapter is written from a different character's point of view. The plot is a comedy of errors mixed with suspense and highly entertaining. I love all of Susan Specht Oram's books and this book is no exception.

Wow! Think of all that can go wrong at a wedding and times it by ten!!! The weather is bad, an ex girlfriend shows up, the cake is sliding and the ferries to get people there are down.

A lot of stress and you never know what’s going to happen next! I enjoyed this one. I got to know each character well and they all were there with different motivations!

Wedding Nightmare by Susan Specht Oram
Narrated by Robin McAlpine

This is such a fun and exciting domestic thriller story!! It’s a fast read and had me totally engaged and not moving from the begging to end of the book!! There’s tension and some big shockers throughout!
Weddings are supposed to be full of love & happiness, and having families to share in your joy! This was not the case!!

Claire is excited to have a special wedding, with the cake of her dreams, and an island location she’s been dreaming of.
However, on her big day, pieces begin to fall apart, layer by layer. Bad weather is preventing friends and family to catch the ferry to the island; unexpected guests have shown up and all around messes have popped up.

This is the 2nd book I’ve read from this author this month, and I’m excited to pick my 3rd book from her!!

I listened to the audio version and the narrator did a fantastic job!!

*A must read exciting thriller!!*

This book is described as being a murder, psychological thriller, but I found it more entertaining than psychological. Every girl dreams of a perfect wedding, but just like people most weddings have a hiccup or two. The guests may not realize it, but the bride does and (typically) shrugs it off.

This quick read gives a new definition to the word "nightmare." To be sure there are a lot of moving pieces and a wide array of personalities. I found it to be worth the read.

If you are an eBook reader at the end you will be invited to download a free supplemental epilogue entitled THAT NIGHT. It wraps up some loose ends and answers a question or two. This was not my first Susan Spect Oram book, and it won't be my last. It is the most "fun" psychological thriller I have read

Ralph is getting ready to marry Claire on the day she has thoroughly planned to be the picture-perfect wedding day. However, from the moment things begin, the atmosphere doesn't feel quite right. The delicate custom cake isn't what she anticipated, the ferry service gets delayed, and then the heavy gray sky threatens rains. The air is thick with a creeping sense of foreboding - something unmistakably ominous.
Brace yourself for Susan Specht Obram's coming WEDDING NIGHTMARE, a story that will shake you to your core and then go even further. Let's welcome spring with this thriller.

What did I just read? I kept going because the book wasn’t long and the chapters were short but seriously. This book was so dumb. All these characters, a weird cousin showing up in a cloak with a slingshot just wandering in the rain. The weirdo best man who clearly is a lazy freeloader. And what was with the catering staff? They really didn’t contribute anything to the story other than mentioning being abandoned by their husband and father on Christmas Eve years ago at least 20 times. So stupid.

Another amazing book by Susan Specht Oram.

A young couple is going to get married and when the day finally arrives, they encounter obstacles.

As the day progresses, problems continue to arise including food disasters and guests not showing up on time.

Well developed scenes and characters. Impossible to put down.

I highly recommend this book. It was an excellent edge of your seat thriller.

The Wedding Nightmare was a nightmare in every way. Kudos to Susan Specht Oram for this quick read that made me think about how wrong things can get and how quickly. I read it in 2 sittings. Some parts were a bit predictable but on the whole, it was a very fun read. When someone says things can't get any worse, Susan proves that they really can.

I would say this story was utter shit, but that would be an insult to shit. The only positive is that it was VERY short.

So this was suppose to be a psychological thriller but I’m sorry it was more hilarious than anything. It is a good read though.
