What made you want to write the Stubborn Love series?
For me, I didn't set out with a goal to write an inspirational romance. In fact I had never even heard of New Adult until I started writing the first story in the series. Contemporary romance in fact was a complete change after writing a YA Paranormal series. In the end though the books were as much for my readers healing as they were for mine. Between my own divorce much earlier in my life and then the loss of a family member, this series really had me confronting demons in my own life. I guess they were cheaper than therapy.
What's your favorite message in the books?
Easy, hope. No matter how dark things get you have to keep hope. Without out it you will find yourself never able to let go of the past. A second chance is in everyone's future if you are just willing to take the risk. Who knows, maybe it will be a wealthy real estate developer, a carpenter, or even a sexy rocker who steals your heart. You just have to be open to the opportunity.
Who is your favorite character in the books?
Female wise it's gotta be Mac. She pretty much looks at situations a lot like I would. Male character wise though it's hands down Colin. As I wrote him I used my husband Josh as inspiration. If it weren't for his patience he would have never won my stubborn heart.
Will there ever be more books in the series?
I have an outline for a story, but we will have to see what the readers want. If they want more, I am happy to give it to them.

Stubborn Love
The first book to start off this amazing series. This book got me hooked and I mean HOOKED in the first few pages. I could not and didn't want to put this book down. Having kids, however, I had to put it down once in a while. When I wasn't reading this book I was thinking about it. I am telling you....this book is amazing. Wendy Owens is a fantastic Author and her books should be read by everyone!!!!! I promise you will not be disappointed when reading any of Wendy's books. Easily FIVE AMAZING stars!!!
Only In Dreams
This is my absolute favorite if I had to pick only one in this book series. This one was it for me. If I could give it a thousand stars, I would. Where do I start with this book? I LOVED it!!!!! This book brings out all kinds of emotions in you. Wow is all I can say, well worth the read this book is!! Have your Kleenex ready for this book. What an amazing book.
The Luckiest
I seriously couldn't put my Kindle down.
I fell in love with Dean, he was so supportive with Mac and her tremendous loss. He took things slow and waited for Mac to come around.
This book is very well written and I truly enjoyed it. The book had a very easy flow and kept my interest the entire time. The characters were well rounded and I could actually picture them in my head. It was also nice to have familiar characters from Wendy's other books, Stubborn Love and Only in Dreams, in this book.
