Pretty Boy and Lila
Hillbilly, Prez of the Reckless Order MC, took Pretty Boy under his wings and with he and Lila living under the same roof, they were always at odds. When Hillbilly has a health scare, he put Pretty Boy in the Prez’s seat and with that comes many sacrifices and big decisions. Lila has always fought Pretty Boy until she learns the extent to which he will go to protect her and her father along with the club.
Pretty Boy and Lila had chemistry coming off the pages and I loved watching them find their HEA. This author never fails to put out five start MC books.

Pretty Boy was my first Audrey Bell book, and let me just say this woman did not gently introduce herself. She threw me straight into biker chaos, dangerous attraction, club politics, emotional warfare, and enough sexual tension to short-circuit a motorcycle engine.
This book is short, fast-paced, and absolutely relentless in the best way possible. There is no wasted time here. From the very beginning, the story grabs you by the throat and drags you straight into a world full of loyalty, debts, power plays, and people who absolutely should not be falling for each other… yet obviously cannot stay away.
The enemies-to-lovers dynamic was deliciously sharp. The banter bites, the chemistry burns, and the constant push-and-pull between fighting someone and craving them gave the entire story this addictive emotional intensity. Forced proximity only made everything messier, hotter, and infinitely more entertaining. And underneath all the tension and heat, there’s this fierce protective devotion that sneaks up on you when you least expect it.
I also loved the MC atmosphere. The club politics, the danger simmering under every interaction, the feeling that violence could explode at any second… it all added that gritty edge biker romances need to truly hit. Nobody feels entirely safe, emotionally or otherwise, and that keeps the tension razor sharp the whole way through.
Audrey Bell is officially a new author obsession for me, because if the rest of the Reckless Order MC series delivers this level of chemistry, chaos, emotional damage, and steam, I’ll happily keep signing up to watch every single biker fall disastrously in love. And can we talk about Ironside for a second? Sir, your downfall cannot come soon enough. I will be seated, popcorn ready, waiting very patiently for your demise.

At the age of 16, Matteo "Pretty Boy" Rossi's dad decided that he was too much trouble and put him on a bus from Chicago to Colorado, where he was all alone until he met "Hillbilly", the president of the Reckless Order MC. Hillbilly was a single dad to his daughter, Lila. Hillbilly took Pretty Boy into his home and raised him, along with Lila, grooming him to be the next president of the Reckless Order MC.
Lila was the princess of the Reckless Order MC and the apple of her dad's eye. Lila hated sharing her dad with Pretty Boy, and the fact that because she was a girl, she wouldn't be taking over the MC when her dad retired.
Even though there was a deep feeling from both Lila and Pretty Boy, Lila fought those feelings and tried to make life for Pretty Boy difficult. She flaunted men in front of him. Pretty Boy watched everything that Lila did and just waited.
While Lila is out for dinner with Hillbilly, Hillbilly has a heart attack, and suddenly the club doesn't have a president to lead them. Also, at that moment the Irish mob finds out the Hillbilly had a heart attack and they call in his loan for $300,000, telling Lila she has just 48 hours to pay it.
Lila tries to hide it, but Pretty Boy finds out. Also Hillbilly names Pretty Boy temporary prisident of the MC.

Pretty Boy and Lila have known each other since her father, Hillbilly, President of the Reckless Order MC, took Pretty Boy (real name Matteo) in and raised him like a son. Lila wasn’t exactly happy about that, and she’s made it clear that she can’t stand Pretty Boy.
Methinks the lady doth protest too much.
Pretty Boy loves to tease her, and they fight with words. But when stuff gets real, like her father having a heart attack and a mafia loan shark calling in the loan from Hillbilly’s gambling, there’s no teasing there. He’s put in charge while Hillbilly recovers, and now they have to figure out where to get a lot of money in forty-eight hours.
I think Lila has always been attracted to Pretty Boy, and her jealousy in her teen years just morphed into a front of disdain so no one catches on that she has feelings for him. In fact, she’s so good at telling herself that she hates him that it’s a complete surprise when she finds out that she actually doesn’t hate him.
Maybe she thought it would be weird for them to be together because they’d lived under one roof as teens. Maybe she wanted to be angry with him for being the guy that Hillbilly was teaching to run the motorcycle club one day. I doubt that she would ever openly admit any of those things. Good thing that Pretty Boy knows her so well.
There isn’t a big fight in this book, nor anyone getting injured, unless you count Hillbilly’s heart attack. Bear in mind that this is a steamy romance, so if you like the door closed, this might not be for you. I really enjoyed this book, because I love the “he loves her but she can’t stand him” trope. It’s one of my favorites.

Pretty Boy by Audrey Bell is the third title in The Reckless Order MC series and was an entertaining read.
It is a steamy small town, enemies to lovers, biker romance, with an interesting plot and storyline and engaging main characters, Lila and Matteo/Pretty Boy.
Lila is the daughter of MC president Hillbilly and has grown up around the members of the Reckless Order including Pretty Boy/Matteo. Hillbilly took in Matteo whilst he was a homeless teenager and he and Lila grew up together. There has always been animosity between them but as the years have gone by this has included a growing undercurrent of attraction and desire.
Pretty Boy has a reputation with the ladies but has also proven himself a loyal member of the club and holds the position of treasurer.
Lila is a strong and independent woman with a successful business but when her father ends up in the hospital, the mafia holding a loan belonging to Hillbilly contacts Lila to call in the outstanding debt. The large amount is more than Lila can manage but with the threat to her and the rest of her family she lets slip the problem to Pretty Boy and the MC and they rally to help.
The sexual tension between Lila and Pretty Boy has ramped up as the payment deadline looms and when she discovers the sacrifice Pretty Boy makes to fulfill the repayment she realise that under all the push-pull with him she finally admits that its really love.
With some sweetness, devotion, steam, suspense, action and a well paced story, along with Lila and Pretty Boy's well deserved satisfying HEA that had me hooked and turning the pages, this quick read is ideal for an afternoon escape.

This novella was the third book in the Reckless Order MC series and it was filled with heart, heat and packed quite the punch! This was a well written and angsty book and the story is deliciously poignant, emotional and riveting. There are themes of angst, drama and regret for past actions but the story ended in a harmonious way with a sweet HEA.
Lila is the MC club princess and will bust anyone’s balls without taking a breath! She has worked hard and with a lot of passion to setup her lingerie shop, loves her dad enormously and has all the bikers wrapped around her fingers. Now if only her head and heart was in sync when it comes to her imploding thoughts of Pretty Boy.
Matteo/Pretty Boy Rossi was abandoned by his parents and fell in with the Reckless Order brotherhood when the Prez Hillbilly took him under his wing, mentored him and taught him everything he would need to one day takeover as President of the club. Lila, being Hillbilly’s only child and the apple of his eye, felt as if Matteo took away her father’s attention and invaded her space and thus the animosity, annoyance and hilarious banter between the two was born.
This was an easy read with a good plot and wonderfully crazy characters and I have thoroughly enjoyed the hours of respite this reading has gifted me and thank the author for giving me the opportunity to enjoy the arc and provide my voluntary review.

Lila is Hillbilly’s daughter. She is tough as nails and growing up in the MC has taught her to be independent and strong. She almost breaks when her father is sent to the ER.
Lila and Pretty Boy grew up together and have fought like cats and dogs ever since. Pretty Boy is in love with Lila and she has always been a little jealous of him and the time her father spends with him.
This is a great edition to the series. Lila takes crap off no man but when the Irish Mafia threatens her she sees the protectiveness and possession in Pretty Boy that she never expected. What does it mean that she thinks it hot as sin that he is stepping up to the role and taking care of her now? Pretty Boy makes some big sacrifices for both her and his MC brothers and shows he is the leader that the MC now needs.

I quite like PrettyBoy, and he’s not typically my type, but there’s something…perhaps that loyalty to the club thing, I like him, and how he has fun with Lila’s threats & sarcasm, especially how he twists them into silly or naughty banter back at her 🤎

That is, until Hillbilly has a hospital stay and nominates Pretty Boy to cover for him. Not only that, but Lila receives a visit from the Irish Mafia, threatening Hillbilly, her, and her family. The club, and especially Pretty Boy, are not going to stand for that.
What follows is a quick read that is full of sarcasm, wit, emotions, and angst. Even when Lila and Pretty Boy get together, it's on her terms, and he doesn't complain one bit, happy with his good luck. I love seeing the updates on the previous novellas in the series, as well as the softer side of the club.

The problem is there a few brothers that can someone and Lila is not good at keeping a poker face.
The club will step up and Pretty Boy steps up the most to help Lila and her father. Now she's faced with her true feelings and her life takes another turn.
I enjoyed this short story and the dedication that Pretty Boy has to his club and his president are nice to see. He's always held Hillbilly in high esteem and he doesn't want to disappoint him, so he'll step up and take the gavel while Hillbilly is recovering. I look forward to more of The Reckless Order MC books to come.

This book was not at all what I thought it world be and I loved it. From the very start I was interested in the story of Lila and Pretty Boy. That first interaction gave me everything I needed. The chemistry was off the charts. The connection was undeniable. The tension was deliciously taut. And things just kept getting better being there. Pretty Boy very much wanted Lila and she wanted him too, that was obvious. It was also so apparent that there was more between them than just a physical attraction. The way Pretty Boy did not hesitate to support her and sacrifice for her safety and happiness was beyond endearing. Immediate swoon for this man. Lila may have shown her gratefulness and care in untraditional (but hot as heck) ways but she let him know that she felt not for him than animosity loud and clear. This book gave us tension of multiple varieties and danger but it also gave us sweetness and understanding and genuine love. I was so happy with the way things wrapped up in this story and cannot wait to see what comes next for this series.

woo-WEE! You could cut the sexual tension with a knife with all the snippy, snarky deflections. It seems everyone could see it except them 🤭 I liked this book. Nice 2-hour ‘getaway’. Lila is the very definition of a ‘black cat’ personality. Pretty Boy is a mix of golden retriever — ONLY for Lila — and Malinois. Lila finds herself in a situation she can’t find an exit for. Pretty Boy really rallies for her — it’s pretty amazing. Good Stuff.

Pretty Boy is a sweet, steamy little read by one of my favourite authors, Audrey Bell. It’s a classic enemies-to-lovers trope where we meet Matteo “Pretty Boy” Rossi and Lila, beloved daughter of the current MC president.
Lila is a strong, confident young woman with fire, and that fire has always burned bright between her and Pretty Boy. When the prez ends up in hospital, and ensuing events follow, Pretty Boy is determined to win Lila over and keep her safe.
While I admittedly struggle sometimes with main characters like Lila that build high walls, I did enjoy this story. I very much enjoyed Pretty Boy’s openness, protective streak, and desire to help others. And as always, the other cast of characters are a joy to read.
This is book 3 of the Reckless Order MC series, and I recommend it to anyone that is a fan of MC books, and those that love a bit of escapism over a couple of hours.

She was the MC princess, having grown up in the club, and of course that made her off-limits even to the club treasurer. He had just been a teen with no place to go and no family to speak of when he prospected and was taken in. He’d always loved her but she seemed to show no interest in him. One drama comes to the club. He is the one who steps up and takes care of his own including her. He is a strong OTT Alpha, who has always had his eye on the prize, her. She is smart and sassy, and doesn’t bow to any man. They have some mutual pining and push and pull as the story takes off in a slow burn. It does pick up momentum, but feels a little rushed at the end and I really wanted to see a little more of their relationship building. But they have chemistry they are spicy, they are steamy and they have happily ever after.

This book is amazing! The tale of Pretty Boy and Lila is fun and sexy and an absolute pleasure to read! Lila and Pretty Boy are constantly bickering with each other even though Pretty Boy would love to get close to her. It isn’t until her father, the President of the MC has a heart attack that she even considers it. While her dad is still in the hospital she gets a call from a mafia boss with news about her father and a debt he owes. The whole club gets together to pay off the debt and when Pretty Boy makes a huge sacrifice to help reach the amount that she acknowledges how she truly feels. Her dad has one more surprise and she and Pretty Boy will get to move forward to their happily ever after and I can’t wait to read what happens next!.

May 15, 2026Fast-paced and packed with tension, this enemies-to-lovers MC romance delivers plenty of sparks between Lila and Matteo “Pretty Boy” Rossi. Their constant clashes, stubborn personalities, and undeniable chemistry kept the story entertaining from start to finish. I enjoyed the protective streak from Pretty Boy and the way the danger surrounding Lila pushed them closer together.
Even as a shorter read, the story still managed to pull me into the world of the Reckless Order MC, and I’m definitely interested in reading more books in the series. A fun, dramatic biker romance with strong chemistry and plenty of attitude.

This was an engaging enemies to lovers biker romance and the chemistry sparking between Lila, MC prez's daughter, and Matteo/Pretty Boy practically jump off the pages ;) However, she's been jealous of the time her father gave Pretty Boy when they were teens, which turned into resentment when she found he was to be named as the next prez, not her. Youch! As you may imagine, things come to a head when her father has a heart attack and a terrible loan gets called in. This places her in danger and Pretty Boy is in no mood to see her hurt... Expect to get caught up in the angst, suspense, devotion and sweet and steamy romance as these two work their way to a fab HEA. Definitely a page turner and a fun reading ride ;D

This biker romance follows the club princess and a biker she has known for years. Their feelings for each other are obvious, especially on his side, and it takes quite a while before they finally act on them. The slow build worked well and made the relationship feel meaningful.
There were a few details that felt a bit odd, particularly the way the club president simply decides who the next president will be without any apparent vote or discussion. Book 3 of the Reckless Order MC series and it’s Pretty Boys time to shine. From the age of 16 Pretty Boy was abandoned by his father, taken in by Hillbilly ( the clubs prez) and brought up alongside Lila the prez’s daughter. They argue like cats and dogs, disagree on everything but they can’t deny that they are hiding their true feelings until Lilas life is in danger. Pretty Boy steps up and sacrifices everything for her. Great characters with plenty of chemistry and passion. A short read with drama, great friendships and plenty of heat. Lila was really a strong, sassy, stubborn FMc and pretty boy who was a fabulous, flirty mmc would do anything for her.

I really enjoyed this story about Lila and Pretty Boy. The way they start off hating each other but can’t help feeling attracted makes for a fun read. Their constant arguing keeps things lively, but you can tell there’s a lot more beneath the surface. When Lila’s dad ends up in the hospital, everything changes, and Pretty Boy steps up to help her out. I liked how their relationship slowly shifts from fighting to something more genuine, especially with all the tension and sparks flying between them. The action with the mafia add some extra excitement, and the ending left me eager to see what happens next. Overall, a cool mix of drama, romance, and a bit of danger that kept me hooked.

From that moment on, their simmering attraction becomes undeniable.

The characters were very appealing and complex and complicated and absolutely perfect together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building continues to excel and impress. Another great addition to the series. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!
