Brad Wilcox's The Continuous Atonement is a landmark work that helps to clarify what the Atonement is—and what it isn't. It corrects misperceptions and offers hope to those who struggle again and again.

This teen adaptation will help teenagers better understand and apply the Atonement in their lives and help them teach the nuances of the Atonement to others, whether on a mission, at home, or with friends. As they better understand and apply the Atonement, its transforming power will have a lasting effect in their lives.

Each chapter opens with a teen-appropriate question and includes subheadings to clarify content, new stories relevant to teens, and a Prepare to Teach section to help readers internalize and share what they're learning. This shorter edition will be printed in paperback, perfect for teens to carry with them through their busy days.

This is a WONDERFUL book and really teaches you that messing up is ok, it is still possible to become better and helps you remember to always do your best. I really like how it focuses on Christ and his everlasting love for all of us, and is a great book for teaching Sunday School classes. Thank you Brother Wilcox, this book has changed my life

Highly recommended.

The book “A Continuous Atonement” by brad wilcox is a very uplifting book. This book tells of many ways we should be grateful for the atonement. In this book Brad Wilcox shares many personal experiences on how his testimony was strengthened and he teaches how we can take his personal experiences and use them in our lives to help our testimonies grow. I absolutely love this book. It has helped me understand the importance of the atonement. It shares many wonderful stories that I can remember and learn from. This book really helped me strengthen my testimony of the atonement by sharing many examples of how others have strengthened their testimonies. I liked how this book would explain the meaning of each chapter in the end of every chapter. I think that people should read this book because it helps you strengthen your testimony and your understanding of the atonement. I think that the theme of this book is just to always try and understand how much christ loves you and that he was willing to die for you. This book really emphasized that throughout the entire thing. I also enjoyed the length of this book. It was not too long or too short. This is a very uplifting book and it is guaranteed to help your testimony grow.

I actually read this book for the first time on my mission. I was on a split with an American sister in her area and she had it and I started reading it one night before we went to sleep. I was absolutely hooked. I emailed my mom on the next P-day and begged her to send it to me (I even said I would pay for the book and for shipping to Brazil). She did and I’m grateful that she did because this was the start of a true understanding of the Savior’s Atoning sacrifice in my life. I will never forget the calming spirit this book brought to me and how I was able to really understand gospel topics I had been taught since I was a kid. This also helped me explain Christ better in lessons we taught to investigators, members, and even in companionship study. I am so grateful for Brother Wilcox and for his strong testimony of the Savior. It’s because of him that I was able to find the Savior in my own life and become more truly converted unto Him. ❤️

(Church Book) I thought this book was great for adults, too. There were so many inspiring nuggets spread throughout. The story of each of us being a marble that is being polished in Christ at the end was a perfect way to close. There were a couple of times reading this that I couldn't help but think this is too advanced for teens, but in reality, if I had, had this book as a 16 or 18-year-old, I would have had some insight to put some things into better perspective (that only time has brought me otherwise). The author did a great job bringing in stories of youth to make it relatable. A quote that I loved in the book "As we renew covenants, we are committing not to be perfect LIKE Christ immediately, but to be perfected IN Christ over time."

“God loves broken things.”

“Mistakenly we think that Jesus already has everything, but He doesn’t. He doesn’t have you. He doesn’t have me—not until we give ourselves to Him.”

“When we experience our own Gethsemanes, we truly begin to value Christ’s. When we recognize our own weakness, we stand in awe of His strength. Like starlight against a nighttime sky, when we see the darkness of our vices, we can also see the brightness of His virtues.”

I loved this!! It was so enlightening and Brad Wilcox is just the best writer, I love the way he uses analogies and simple phrases to illustrate the Atonement—it taught me so much!

This book was absolutely incredible! Elder Wilcox is my favorite speaker along with President Holland and President Nelson, his wisdom and use of words from the heart were so comforting and beautiful! I’ve learned a lot about the atonement and about Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ’s love for me, overall was very happy with this read! Thank you Elder Wilcox! 🤍

Great book for adults or teens who would like more insight into the Atonement and how they can seize upon the power that is grace. He has a lot of simple examples that help explain a very thick, many layered topic

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading the new book, The Continuous Atonement for Teens by Brad Wilcox. The Atonement of Jesus Christ is central to my belief in the gospel and understanding how the atonement works in my life has made all the difference for me, especially over the past two years. I have went through some rough times and relied on the Lord to get me through. I've seen how putting my trust and faith in Him has made it possible for me to continue, keep moving forward, even when times are tough.

The reason I love The Continuous Atonement for teens is because Brad Wilcox explains the principles of the atonement and how it works in clear context. He gives excellent examples, inspiring stories, and so much hope for this gift that we've been given. I have marked several passages in my book and I'm so glad that I have this so that my own children can read it and understand how grace and works make the gospel what it is and how the atonement is for ALL of us ALL the time.

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I believe in the Bible and the Book of Mormon--both works teach of Jesus Christ and the love our Heavenly Father has for all of us. I'm grateful that His grace is sufficient for me and that through His atonement I can continue to move forward and learn all that I need to while on this earthly sojourn.

I'm grateful for the Atonement and I think this book is an excellent teaching tool to understand and apply to life.

This book is the teen version of Brad's book, The Continuous Atonement which I'm looking forward to reading next.

When Brad Wilcox wrote The Continuous Atonement it changed the way we understood this most important role of our Savior. The atonement is not just a one-time-deal...it is continuous!

Now the book has been adapted for teens...giving them relevant stories and examples that more closely apply to where they are right now.

You will learn that it is okay to struggle along..."however long it takes."

You will read about "who needs a savior" and how "He's got us covered."

Wait until you read the story of the "one lone branch." WOW! SO GOOD!

And what does "after all we can do" really mean~

Sometimes we believe that we are not worthy for the Lord's help, or that we are broken --- beyond repair.

Brad Wilcox gently teaches that:

"Christ doesn't just make up the difference, He makes ALL the difference."

A FANTASTIC BOOK!
Filled with a message of HOPE!
A better understanding awaits!

What a wonderful book! While the book is specifically aimed at teens (there is a longer version for adults), there is much here that is appropriate for adults as well. The author's purpose is to provide comfort for those who want so much to be good and yet fail time and time again. The focus here is on the Savior's Atonement and what it really means in terms of repentance and forgiveness and receiving the daily strength we need to face our challenges and temptations. The author emphasizes the CONTINUOUS nature of the atonement, how it's power never fails and never wains. At the end of each chapter, Brother Wilcox shares ideas for teaching these doctrines and ideas to others around us, a great idea for teens who love to talk to their friends about everything. A great book to help teens understand the importance of not giving up and relying on Jesus Christ to help us repent and change for the better.

Adapted for teens, this is a great book for gaining a deeper understanding of the continuous nature of the Atonement in a more engaging format. I really like the "Prepare to Share" section at the end of each chapter, meant to prepare teens to be better teachers of the atonement. Personally, I gained a better understanding of the difference between the terms "Savior" and "Redeemer".

Quotes & Notes:
"We struggle so much to forgive ourselves that we wrongly assume God must be having the same struggle."

"My offering may be far from acceptable, but God accepts it nonethelesss because ultimately He is more concerned with the offerer than the offering."

Satan has been thwarted at each essential turning point in the Plan of Salvation except one-the turning point in our individual lives. That's up to us.

this was really good! I have the regular version, but have yet to read it. I compared the first few chapters and this is definitely adapted for teens. I learned a lot from it, and I am not a teen! It really helped me to understand the Atonement.

This is a really great book on Christ's atonement. My kids and I read it together and it gave us so many opportunities for discussion and clarification on one of the greatest gifts we have been given in this life. Now I just need to read the version for adults.

Great insight into the Atonement and how it affects me. Appreciated the perspectives offered and even though I'm an adult, not a teen, it was applicable and thought-provoking.
