Brilliantly written books. Follow three retired ladies who work in a charity shop together as they inadvertently become detectives and solve cases with fun, friendship and lots of cosy tea and cake!
Managed to read all 5 books in under 2 weeks it was so enjoyable.
Some great life observations as well and also some words and phrases I haven’t come across before, but just like talking with real worldly people. Glad Kindle has a look-up function so I can see what the references are (there are not loads but I found it interesting to learn new stuff along the way too). Definitely going to read the Christmas one. More please!!

Brilliant for an easy read

I enjoyed these, some more than others but they're all interesting in their own way
My favourite was the beach hut one, especially as I fell in love with Bitsy, it's a shame she wasn't involved more

Friends solving murders the police cannot

I like Boland's 5 cozy mystery series with his believable characters in well plotted stories. All are written on a consistent level, not high literature, but extremely well done cozy mysteries.
