Men are like buses. You wait years for one, and then two come along at once...
Jennifer has stopped believing in love and she's quietly convinced herself that romance simply isn't meant for her.
When Jake returns to London, sun-weathered and ready to finally choose roots over adventure, a disastrous prank on his best friend Nate pulls Jennifer into their orbit. Nate is a razor-sharp lawyer. Magnetic, focussed— his wilder side waiting for someone worth setting it free for.
Two men. Both impossible to ignore. Both impossible to choose between.
So why should she have to?
Jake and Nate have shared everything for years — but daring to share this could change all three of them forever. Can something so unconventional survive when feelings run this deep?
A triple POV emotional romance about throwing out the rulebook and writing your own happy ending.
I really wanted to love this one, but unfortunately the second hand embarrassment really got to me. We start out with Jenny, who is a professional burlesque dancer. She covers for her sick best friend by doing a singing telegram, which she only has a few hours notice. She is forced to dress up im this valentines day themed outfit, when she gets there she spills water, she forgets the lines, she freezes, plus its all in the middle of a board meeting for a major office.
I could have recovered from that, but then Jenny, who goes by the stage name Ginny, which I didn't think would be a different pronunciation, but apparently it, proceeds to start dating not only the guy who sent the telegram but also the receiver of the telegram. This is advertised as a why choose, and it does end up thay way but at first Jenny is just cheating. Im not personally a fan of the cheating trope, so it turned me off quite a bit unfortunately. That could have been my fault for misrembering that in the trope list, however.
Overall, the writing was good though, the ending was cute, and the spice was really good. I just didn't vibe with this one at all, but it's DEFINITELY going to be a lot of people's favorite and I can see where it's going to get a lot of fans!
From when the dedication says go have it all queen it’s there for the taking I knew I was gonna have a good time reading this and I can 100% say I loved this book. I loved being an insider into the burlesque world I absolutely love burlesque and the uniqueness of the performance and Alexandra showcased this perfectly in the book.
Now let’s get to the characters I loved how unapologetic Jennifer was when on stage it’s like she adopted this personality to be a strong independent men fawn over whilst on stage she was a bad b but when it came to Nate & Jake she was able to drop her guard and show her vulnerable side. Now the spice definitely didn’t disappoint it had me getting jealous that o wasn’t in a why choose situation 🤣. I loved the pace of the book it had good plot and depth which kept me hooked and wanting more. The ending was a perfect conclusion to the story I would recommend
I received this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Jenny (Jennifer) + Nate +Jake
Tease for Two follows the unlikely relationship of Jenny (Jennifer) + Nate +Jake (MFM). Nate and Jake are friends and legit do not know they are with the same girl until it comes out. I will say that Jenny is living her best life and I love that for her. What I didn't like was near the end she was giving them so much hell for hiding something when she was having a relationship with BOTH of them. Felt kind of like a double standard. But hey, they finally figured it out and communicated.
100% not pushing shade on our FMC, I just wish she had thought about her choices and reflected better so her reaction to the 'lie' was a bit better?
First of all, huge thank you to Alexandra for trusting me with both the beta read and ARC read of this story 💕✨
Tease for Two completely pulled me in from the very first chapter 😍 This story follows Jennifer, a confident and captivating burlesque dancer who has pretty much given up on love after one disappointment too many. She’s focused on herself, her career, and living life on her own terms… until two very different men unexpectedly crash into her world 👀🔥
First there’s Nate — the charming tax lawyer she accidentally meets while helping a friend with a hilarious singing telegram situation 🎤😂 Their chemistry is instant, intense, and impossible to ignore. Then there’s Jake, who notices Jennifer during a night at the burlesque club and immediately becomes fascinated by her ❤️🔥
What makes this story so addictive is that Nate and Jake have no clue they’re both falling for the same woman at first 😅 And honestly? Jennifer is out here thriving while dating both of them, and I fully supported her enjoying every second of it 💃🔥 But I’ll admit… when secrets finally come out later in the story, I did feel a little frustrated seeing Jennifer so angry about things being hidden from her while she had also been keeping a huge secret herself 🤭 Still, once everyone finally starts communicating openly, everything falls into place beautifully.
I absolutely loved the dynamic between all three characters 🥹 Nate and Jake couldn’t be more different, but somehow they both fit perfectly with Jennifer in their own unique ways. She may come across as bold and seductive on stage, but the vulnerable side she shows with both men made her feel incredibly real and relatable 💕
The chemistry in this book is OFF THE CHARTS 🌶️🔥 The spicy scenes were deliciously written without overpowering the actual storyline. That dressing room table scene?! Yeah… I’m never recovering from that one 🫠 And the breeding kink elements? Whew 🥵 The obsession both men had with Jennifer and her curves added so much heat to an already steamy romance.
But beyond the spice, this book genuinely surprised me emotionally 😭 Jake’s heartbreak when everything started unraveling completely shattered me. Jennifer’s pain felt just as raw, and the emotional tension between the three of them was written so well that I couldn’t stop reading. Watching them struggle through jealousy, fear, mistakes, and eventually finding their way toward something real together felt authentic and heartfelt ❤️
One thing I appreciated most was how natural the relationship development felt. Even though the story moves quickly, nothing felt forced. Instead of focusing only on the physical side of a why choose/MFM romance, this book really explored the emotional reality of building a relationship between three people 🫶✨
By the end, Tease for Two turned into such a beautiful reminder that love doesn’t always have to fit society’s expectations to be meaningful 💖 Messy, emotional, sexy, and incredibly fun — this was such an entertaining read from beginning to end, and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone who loves emotional romance with plenty of heat 🔥📚
Tease for Two by Alexandra Ravensbrook When the dedication is “In a world where women are told daily they can and can’t have, do not listen. There’s no reason you can’t enjoy two dicks at the same time. Go have it all, queen. It’s there for the taking.” You know it’s going to be an interesting read!
Jennifer is a burlesque performer at the Perky Peacock(London, England) who commands the stage during her performances, while her best friend Lexi works for ‘Sing-O-Gram Surprise’ delivering cringe-worthy singing telegrams. Jennifer has sworn off romance after her last 3 heartbreaks. Despite commanding the stage, she’s been left a lot leaving her self-conscious and swearing off relationships.
When Lexi falls extremely sick and cannot cancel one of her telegrams, she begs Jennifer to fill in. That’s how Jennifer meets Nate, a tax lawyer who is trying to make partner. He doesn’t have time to meet someone. During the telegram their eyes connect and Jennifer forgets the lines, she knocks over a glass of water and can’t wait to get out. Nate has no idea his best friend, Jake sent the telegram as a joke.
That week while performing, Jennifer met Jake who got a private dance and asked her out for a drink. Jake is freshly home after a decade of overseas working on construct projects. He returned to London wanting to build a life. Their connection is like no other and the sex makes her felt safe and seen. They commit to casually date and to see where it goes.
Nate was dragged out by his co-workers to the Perky Peacock and is stunned to see the woman who nervously sang his telegram, and asks her to have a drink. The spark is intense and they hit it off immediately. Jennifer lets him know she is seeing someone, but goes on more dates with both men. Nate is the opposite of Jake, logical and wild in bed. Jennifer knows she has to choose, but she doesn’t know who to choose.
Jennifer continues to date both men trying to figure it all out until Jake sees Jennifer out with Nate and confronts her by text as to why she’s dating his best mate. Jennifer had no idea the men knew each other, and now she might have just lost them both.
This book had my attention from the first chapter, and is an emotional rollercoaster. You’ll find yourself up all night to finish the book just to find out what happens! A must read.
After reading Yes, Miss by Alexandra Ravensbrook I knew I had to read Tease for Two. Because like Yes, Miss, this one is also a 5 star read.
The book is about Jennifer, she’s a burlesque dancer. She has sworn of dating and love in general after another failed relationship. But fate has other plans for her, as she meets not one but two handsome men who turn her life upside down. The first one is Nate a tax lawyer who she meets by accident after helping out a friend and something about a singing telegram? But the instant connection is there. He couldn’t stop thinking about her for several days, but then they meet again in the burlesque club where she works. Around the same time she also catches the attention of Jake, who goes to the same burlesque club with a friend. Afterwards they go for drinks and hit it off. She ends up dating both men at the same time. Even though she knows she can’t continue like this, she also has trouble choosing one of them. But what if she doesn’t have to?
I love all of the main characters. Nate and Jake are completely different, but that’s exactly what makes them perfect for Jennifer. They each have their own personality and they complement her both in different ways. Jennifer might be the sexy and confident siren on stage, but I love how she can be vulnerable with both men. The best thing about the book is the realism of it. I’ve read several RH/Whychoose books in the past, but I felt like this was about an actual relationship instead of just the spice. Of course this book has a lot of spicy scenes and they’ll definitely make you blush. But I like how that’s not the most important part about the story. It’s more about the dynamic of the three people figuring out how this is supposed to work.
Overall this book was a fun and easy read for me. It’s a fast-paced story and feeling developed pretty quick, but at the same time everything progressed very natural and wasn’t rushed. It’s a real feel good story about people who don’t live their life according to society’s standards and make their own happiness however that may look like. Because everyone deserves their happily ever after.
Thank you so much Alexandra Ravensbrook for the e.ARC!

What to expect: ✨ Polyamory ✨ Breeding kink ✨ Unplanned happy pregnancy ✨ Best friends ✨ Dark broody lawyer ✨ Golden retriever charity builder ✨ Burlesque dancer FMC ✨ Over 30's FMC & MMC's
Ok this book was such a quick easy read. I had a good time with this book.
Love the triple POV, getting to see the individual feelings and thoughts was great.
We follow our FMC Jennifer (Jenny) who is a burlesque dancer who had sworn of dating as she has been hurt to many times. Jenny is a force when she's performing on the stage, she is confident and sexy. Loved getting a look into the world of burlesque dancing.
Jake one of our MMC's had just returned to London after being away for work and is looking to settle down and start a family. Really put down roots. He meets Jenny at the club where she performs, he is completely consumed by her, they share a private dance and the rest is history. I love the relationship these two shared, Jake is very kind and thoughtful.
Nate our other MMC is a lawyer who is extremely focused on work and is waiting for the right person to unleash his wider side. And once he meets Jenny he has found his person, the dressing room table scene was my favorite scene in the book 😉🤭 IYKYK 🔥
The chemistry between the 3 of them was through the roof. The spicy scenes were spicy but didn't take over the whole book.
I love that we got to see the individual relationships develop first before they came together. And the fact they are 'older' was great because they could communicate well and make informed decisions together.
The plot was great, fast paced in parts and slower in others when it was needed. I have to be honest there was parts I was reading and was getting the ICK factor and I just thought please stop talking and everything would be perfect 😂
Thank you so much to the Author and Ever After PR for sending me an arc copy of this book.

I personally didn’t like the setup that much. Jennifer and Jake agree that they’re casual and explicitly state that they’re not exclusive, even though they’re going on actual dates together. The first night Jennifer talks to Nate, it sounds far from casual. This makes it feel like whatever there is with Nate (which is really nothing at that point) is more serious than what she has with Jake, which makes the whole dynamic feel a little off.
I loved both men, but Jennifer honestly annoyed me a little bit throughout the story. The way she deals with the whole ‘dating two people at the same time’ honestly made me dislike her a little bit (and this is coming from someone who devours why choose)… I felt bad for both men, but especially for Jake since he’s completely in the dark about Nate. At a certain point it started to feel like a love triangle/cheating, and we all know how much the book girlies dislike that. The way she handled the letter annoyed me even more, so much that I gave myself a headache. Though I do get where her insecurities come from, it still felt a bit too dramatic.
That being said, the story itself was enjoyable and well written, aside from a few inconsistencies. There was some humor in it. The pickle shop situation was funny, but repeated one too many times. The characters and their backstories were thought out enough to understand their behavior and way of thinking. Not the best book I’ve ever read, but an enjoyable experience nonetheless. Despite the frustration (which is really just part of the reading experience haha) I did like the story overall and I absolutely loved the ending.
(I can’t stop thinking about that very first spicy scene though. I’ve read enough smut to know that it’s not always realistic, and it doesn’t need to be. But she came just from a bit of grinding through her jeans? Girl, good for her. Also, Jake can go three times without going limp for a second? Damn.)
(I received this book as an ARC and I am leaving this review voluntarily.)
Tease for Two is a why choose MFM romance centred around Jennifer, a burlesque dancer from London. Past experiences have left her reluctant to believe in love and she’s put all her focus into her career and living on her own terms. When two very different men enter her life and show her what love could be she finds it impossible to choose between them, leading the trio on a journey of self discovery.
I was invested in this story from the beginning - Jennifer is a complex character, flawed, yet confident and captivating, and whilst she’s been knocked down romantically in the past she still harbours some hope and vulnerability. She falls for both Nate - who is the broody, intense tax lawyer that makes her feel daring and with whom she has off the charts chemistry, and Jake - Nate’s best friend who is sweet and caring, with a huge heart, allowing Jennifer to open up and take a chance on love again.
I think the reaction to the lie about the job offer initially seemed a little over the top but the reasoning behind it was explained beautifully, allowing us insight into Jenny’s heart and mind. The way Nate and Jake both gave her space whilst continuously showing up for her was the stuff of dreams and I was rooting for them all to find their happily ever after. I liked that it wasn’t a quick resolution and that they all had to put in work over time to get to a point where trust and communication were sturdy pillars in their relationship and I found that a lot more realistic. It was a good exploration on poly relationships and how difficult it can be at times to navigate even smaller issues if all parties involved aren’t included in the decision making process.
The story is fast paced and there is a mix of fun and spicy (🥵🥵🥵) and cute and heartfelt moments. We see solid friendships, natural progression of relationships, interesting and unconventional career choices, deviation from societal norms and plenty of humour! I had a great time reading this and I am looking forward to more books from Alexandra !

There’s something about a romance set in London that just hits differently when you are from the UK 😭✨ and Tease For Two completely swept me away.
What I loved most about this story is that it never treated Jen like she was “too much” or difficult for wanting more than the usual picture-perfect relationship. She’s messy, guarded, funny, vulnerable, and so deeply relatable in that very British “I’ll laugh it off instead of talking about my feelings” kind of way.
And honestly? The Valentine’s singing telegram scene had me CACKLING. Imagine meeting the love interests of your life dressed as a giant glittery heart. Romance books truly give us the most chaotic meet cutes and I eat them up every time.
Jake and Nate worked so well because neither relationship felt lesser. Jake brings this warmth and comfort that makes you feel instantly safe, while Nate is all intense longing and quiet vulnerability underneath the polished exterior. Watching the three of them figure things out together felt emotional, tender, and genuinely hopeful instead of dramatic for the sake of it.
Also can we PLEASE appreciate adult communication in romance for once?? No endless jealousy. No exhausting games. Just people trying, messing up, caring deeply, and learning how to love each other properly.
And Lexi?? Absolutely elite best friend behaviour. Every FMC deserves a Lexi in their corner.
This book gave me butterflies, made me emotional, and left me with that soft happy feeling at the end where you just sit there smiling at the wall for a bit 🥹

ARC Review Tease for Two — Alexandra Ravensbrook❤️🔥 4⭐️ Releasing: May 18, 2026
This one surprised me in the best way.
Jen is in her 30s, a burlesque dancer who’s learned to keep things surface-level after always feeling like the “almost” choice. No expectations = no heartbreak… right?
Then one chaotic Valentine’s singing telegram (yes, a giant glittery heart with wings 💀) drops her straight into the orbit of *two* men she can’t forget.
Nate — the workaholic lawyer who never makes time for anything… until her. Jake — the golden retriever best friend with a huge heart and instant chemistry.
And somehow… she doesn’t have to choose.
What I loved most is that this didn’t feel messy just for drama. Jen connects with both of them in completely different ways, and watching her realize she doesn’t have to shrink herself into something “simpler” just to be loved? That hit.
The dynamic between Nate and Jake was such a standout too — there’s history, loyalty, and tension, but also a willingness to figure it out instead of competing.
That third-act moment definitely tugs at you emotionally, but the grovel + rebuilding trust made it worth it, and the ending felt soft, earned, and full of love.
Also—Lexi?? ELITE best friend energy. Ride or die.
✨ Tropes: • Poly romance (MMF) • Golden retriever x Workaholic MMC • Emotional healing / “who hurt you” • Found family vibes • Burlesque dancer FMC • Dual love interests (no true triangle endgame) • Third-act separation
Overall: warm, heartfelt, and really hopeful. A reminder that love doesn’t always have to fit one mold—and sometimes it multiplies instead of divides.
I was lucky enough to be an ARC reader for this book, and I’m so grateful ☺️
The chemistry between these three was absolutely incredible from the start. Both men are completely obsessed with Jennifer’s beautiful curves and gorgeous green eyes, and honestly… who could blame them? 😍
Now let’s talk about the spice level… HIGH. Sexy, delicious, and seriously unforgettable 😋 The dressing room table scene? Yeah… that moment is living rent free in my head 😉 But what I loved most was that the spice never took over the story. There’s actually a really good balance between the romance, emotions, and plot.
My heart genuinely broke for Jake when he saw Jennifer with Nate. He was heartbroken, but so was Jennifer, and you could really feel the emotions pouring off the pages. Thankfully, the three of them work through it all, and trust me what happens next is SO worth it 👀
I also loved that both men had a breeding kink ☺️ Reading all the ways they wanted to breed her was incredibly sexy and added such a fun extra layer to the story 😉
Once they finally start a real relationship together, it’s beautiful seeing how much they all care for each other. It’s emotional, messy, scary, and full of love 🥰 BUT then the boys go and hide something from Jennifer… and WOW. Those chapters genuinely made me cry. The emotions hit hard, and seeing them desperately try to fix their mistakes had me completely invested.
You’ll definitely have to read the book to find out what they did and whether they can truly fix everything 👀 But I can honestly say I would 100% recommend this book. It might even be one of my favourite reads of the year! ❤️

As someone who will always love a morally gray dark romance with obsessive unhinged men, this was actually such a refreshing change of pace. Instead of toxic power plays and dangerous games, this story felt raw, emotional, and honestly… really human. What I loved most was how this story focused on three people genuinely trying to navigate life, love, trauma, and a polyamorous relationship together. It felt messy in the most realistic way possible, and that made the emotional moments hit even harder. The FMC especially stood out to me. She carries so much past hurt that makes her instinctively guarded and ready to run before anyone can hurt her again. Watching her slowly learn to trust, communicate, and let herself be loved was probably my favorite part of the book. Jake and Nate also felt very real. They both bring their own baggage and insecurities into the relationship, and I appreciated that none of them were written as perfect people. They mess up, struggle, and sometimes communicate badly, but what matters is that they keep choosing each other and fighting for the relationship together 🖤 The emotional connection was beautiful, but let’s be honest… the chemistry between these three was HOT 🫠 This book really highlights how important honesty, vulnerability, and communication are in any relationship, and I genuinely enjoyed every second of watching these three figure it out together. If you like: ✨ why choose romance ✨ emotional healing ✨ relatable relationship dynamics ✨ communication-focused romance ✨ characters learning to trust and love again ✨ spice with actual emotional connection …this one is definitely worth checking
Tease for Two was a fast, entertaining read that I absolutely flew through while on holiday. It’s spicy, playful, and very easy to binge in one or two sittings.
The strongest aspect of this book for me was the central dynamic between Jennifer, Nate, and Jake. I love why choose/MFM romances because, when done well, they allow the female main character to fully explore different aspects of her emotional and sexual needs, and I really enjoyed that element here. Jennifer finding comfort, affection, dominance, and desire in two very different men made for some genuinely compelling moments.
The spice was undeniably hot, even if I did occasionally have to pause and stare out at the sea to recover from certain scenes. Some of the phrasing veered slightly into cringe territory for me personally, but overall the chemistry between the characters kept me invested and entertained throughout.
A lot of the conflict and frustration in the story came from poor communication between the characters, especially when they repeatedly promised honesty with each other early on. There were definitely moments where I wanted to shake them all slightly and demand they sit down for one proper conversation.
That said, this was still a genuinely enjoyable read for me. It was fun, escapist, emotionally charged in places, and perfect as a beach read. I also appreciated how openly the book embraced female desire and sexuality without shame.
Overall, a very entertaining why choose romance with strong chemistry, plenty of spice, and characters I enjoyed spending time with.
I flew through this book! Our FMC Jennifer (Jen) is a 32 year old burlesque dancer. Every relationship she has ever had has gone up in flames, which is exactly why she isn’t looking for anything serious. When her best friend (and singing telegram worker) asks for a favor she reluctantly agrees… dressed in an over sized heart costume and forced to singing a love song to the most handsome man she’s ever seen; it’s no wonder she flees after her performance
Nate can’t remember the last time a female has caught his attention, and when Jen stumbles into the conference room to sing to him - he’s surprised by the way he can’t stop staring at her and thinking about her long after she left.
Jake is back home from years abroad, thinking it’s finally time to set down some roots. After being invited to a burlesque show - he sets his eyes on Jen and as the saying goes - the rest is history.
Meeting both men separated- how could Jen have known they were best friends from college? She did agree for casual - and one did know she was seeing someone else… so it’s not her fault she can’t yet pick just one. It would be unfair to keep both right? I mean that only works in movies.
I really found it refreshing how both men were adults and actually communicated.. this is a refreshing poly romance that is the perfect example of how relationships of all sorts can work with communication.
Intelligent wit and British humour! Alexandra is a new-to-me author who depicts modern-day romantic struggles, frustrations, and desperation with relatable charm, wit, and realism!
The story follows Jenny - a confident burlesque dancer, Nate - a hot corporate tax lawyer, and Jake - world wonderer and well builder. Nate and Jake are best friends who end up dating Jenny casually for a short period at the same time, not knowing the other is dating her.
The spicy scenes are hot and done right! The individual sex scenes are delicious with both mmc's. The group sex scenes are hotter than hot. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Everything is described properly (no stray arms or legs where i had to wonder who was where and how they managed that position lol). The dirty talk was chefs kiss!! 🤌🏻 A special shoutout to the fmc who knows what she wants in the bedroom and asks for it! Go girl!!
Polyamory approached carefully and thoughtfully. It was believable, the issues were valid, the solutions were real.
Descriptions of characters, places, situations are so on point.
Pacing is great up to 55%, and a little slower after that in some parts due to the fmc's indecisiveness and repetitive thoughts and convos. This is something i generally dislike in life, but i can understand that it's the fmc's nature/trauma response, so i overlook it.
HEA with exactly what both mmc's wanted. Im happy for them.
This book felt like standing in the middle of a thunderstorm wrapped in a fluffy blanket. Chaotic, emotional, intimate, and somehow incredibly comforting all at once. I went in expecting a fun unconventional romance, but what I got was a deeply vulnerable story about love in all its messy, beautiful form.
The triple POV was absolute magic. Getting inside Jennifer, Jake, and Nate’s heads made every emotion hit harder, and the dynamic between them never felt forced. It unfolded naturally, like watching three puzzle pieces realize they were always meant to fit together. Jake brought warmth, Nate had that dangerous sharp-edge charm that completely ruined me, and Jennifer’s journey felt so real. Her hesitation, longing, and gradual acceptance of the kind of love she truly wanted made the story incredibly emotional.
What I loved most was how mature the relationships felt. This wasn’t drama just because. It was about communication, vulnerability, jealousy, fear, trust, and learning that love doesn’t always have to fit inside society’s neat little boxes. The emotional tension simmered constantly, and when the romance finally bloomed fully? Devastating in the best way. My heart basically melted.
A beautifully written romance that completely threw out the rulebook and created something honest, emotional, and unforgettable. I loved every second of it.
💃🏻 | Tease for Two by Alexandra Ravensbrook ❤️🔥 | Contemporary British polyamorous romance ✨ | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Jenny 💃🏻, she’s confident and brave when she’s in her element on stage yet she shows her vulnerable side when she’s with Jake & Nate.
Jake👷🏻, he’s protective and gives off golden retriever vibes 🦮♥️. He acts as Jenny’s stabilizing force.
Nate ⚖️, he’s broody, reserved and his lively personality makes Jenny feel alive.
While Jake is gentle, nurturing and makes Jenny feel safe, Nate is possessive and rough and he makes Jenny feel brave. And Jenny falls for both of them and doesn’t know whom to choose. The three of them make each other feel complete and wanted 🤭❤️🔥. They have chemistry, love, passion and understanding 💞💞.
This book is not just romance, it focuses on trauma bonding, emotional safety and being brave enough to find your own happiness and seize it, despite what society and everyone else deems conventional.
This is my first why choose romance and I loved every moment of it 😮💨💖 so if you like:
🖤 Why choose / polyamory 🖤 age 30+ mfm 🖤 Best friends 🖤 Unplanned happy pregnancy 🖤 Grumpy vs. Golden Retriever 🖤 Burlesque performer
Then you will definitely love “Tease for Two” 😉❤️🔥.
Tease For Two is one of those books that you can read when you fancy having a fun time!
Jenny (stagename Ginny) is a burlesque dancer who has two loves, her career and her best friend Lexi, who calls Jenny in a pinch one day and asks her to step in as a singing telegram at a high-end law office. Cue an uncomfortable main character dressed in a giant glittery heart who performs a mortifying jingle - everything that could go wrong, obviously goes wrong in front of a very hot man.
It was honestly such a refreshing and hilarious read at first, then we delve into the story deeper and fall in love with Nate and Jake. Both completely different characters (grumpy x sunshine) and we begin to understand why she has a hard time choosing between them. Definitely don't read this if you have a no-cheating moral stance, while they are in an 'open relationship' I can understand why it may trigger some!
I just really liked how real Jenny was written, she's got flaws but we grow with her and heal the emotional damage alongside her. The male characters are just perfection, the 'they fall first' trope is present and would do absolutely anything to keep her.
This was a fun, easy read and fast paced MFM poly romance. The three MCs are each very well rounded characters, charming in their own ways and very interesting. The relationship between them evolved naturally and I enjoyed the conversations and discussions leading to them starting their relationship rather than just jumping immediately to be a throuple. Their chemistry was undeniable and the spice was great, they truly understood each other and their needs pretty good.
Some things for me did not click. We see little to minimal interaction between the main MMCs even though they have been friends for more than a decade. I was interested to know more about their past individually and their friendship and bond. The main conflict for me was something that could've been solved easily and a little too predictable. That's why this story started flaking towards the end of it. I guess, considering their age (30's) I was expecting better communications, specially since this dynamic demands more openness than "regular" relationships.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ / 5
Thanks to the author and Ever After PR for this ARC
This book was absolutely filthy, dirty, and great in every possible way! Alexandra Ravensbrook did not come to play. She came to melt Kindles and test my self-control! The spice is unreal, the tension is criminal, and somehow the story still has heart underneath all that heat.
The chemistry between the main characters is explosive. SERIOUSLY SO EXPLOSIVE! Their dynamic starts playful and teasing, but as emotions build it becomes deeper and unexpectedly vulnerable. The banter is sharp, the pacing never slows, and every scene feels like a reward for surviving the slow burn. Ravensbrook writes desire with precision and emotion. The spicy moments are bold and vivid, but they never feel empty. Every kiss, touch, and confession means something. It is hot, it is raw, and it makes you care in ways you do not expect from something this filthy!!
If you want a romance that is passionate, confident, and completely unhinged in the best way, Tease for Two will wreck you beautifully. Rating: 5/5 stars 5/5 spice
This book is a why-choose novel set in London, where Lexi, a burlesque performer, crosses paths with Nate, a serious tax lawyer with brooding features. A few days later, she meets Jake, Nate’s best friend, during one of her performance nights. Eventually, she ends up casually dating both men, without either of them knowing that she is seeing their best friend, as she finds herself unable to choose between them. Nate, however, is aware that Lexi is casually dating another man, which adds an interesting layer to the dynamics.
Things unfold unexpectedly, but this is where it truly feels like the protagonists are in their 30s, as they actually behave like mature adults. The trio navigates their relationship with all its ups and downs, making it feel realistic and grounded.
There is no MM; it is completely an MFM book. The spicy scenes feel like a cherry on top, balanced well with emotional depth. The book offers everything, from yearning and groveling to grand gestures, strong communication, and some genuinely funny banter.
👯♀️🥂 I really loved the atmosphere in the book! The book overall felt really unique with an unusual setting, a curvy burlesque dancer as our FMC and two best friends.
It was difficult to not fall a little in love with Miss Ginny/Jennifer, who has given up on romantic relationships until the two MMCs each show her that it might be possible.
I throughly enjoyed the book, the characters, and the spice was really nice, only added points would have been the two MMCs also being in love, but no MM in this book. Both Jake and Nate were amazing book boyfriend material and complimented each otherworldly nicely, so of course the ultimate solution is having them both.
There was a lot of fun banter and awkward/funny situations, that made have the book a little extra besides the spice and romance. The whole vibe of the book was sultry and sensual, and our MMC had more of a intense and bossy vibe in bed. 🥵

Review of advance copy of Tease for Two received from Ever After PR and the author Alexandra Ravensbrook. Rating: 4.5 Stars Spice: 4 chillies in parts Release Date: 18/05/26
A huge thank you to Ever After PR and Alexandra Ravensbrook for allowing me the opportunity to read this before the release date.
Firstly this is my first book by Alexandra and WOW what a way to start. Tease for Two felt hugely different compared to the other books I have been reading and I loved it even more for that reason.
In summary without any huge spoilers the story is based on 3 MC’s. Jenny who is a confident burlesque dancer, Nate the sexy corporate tax lawyer, and Jake the world exploring well builder. Nate and Jake are predominately best friends who both end up dating Jenny at the same time, not knowing the other one is dating her.
The triple POV was fabulous, it helps you attach yourself to the characters and feel every interaction and emotion much harder. The back stories, humour and lets not forget the spice works blissfully together as the journey of this triangle unfolds. Each character brings something different to the table which keeps the story balanced.
Alexandra is new to me but what she has created here is a stunningly written romance novel that managed to be chaotic, emotional, witty and outright unforgettable all in one book.
If you’re looking for something new, different and addictive, this one is total triumph!
Readers get a front row view of a polyamorous relationship, taking shape. The relationship dynamics unfold naturally with all the pain, vulnerability and messy parts along the way. The great thing about this book is that it focuses more on how they build a solid relationship than just the steamy scenes. Jenifer is a burlesque dancer who on stage is positive and commanding and off stage is extremely vulnerable and has given up on love. Then there’s Nate the charming lawyer and Jake, who becomes fascinated with Jenifer after seeing her perform. Neither men are aware that they are both dating Jenny at the same time when the secret is revealed there’s so much raw emotion, hurt, jealousy, missteps and fear as they build their relationship. Although the three struggle to find their way once they do, this is an amazing book. It is full of steam, heart, emotion, and will leave you with a long lasting memory after you close the pages.
"Mock me all you want, but cement doesn't let you down. Wells either hold water or they don't. It's refreshingly straightforward." "So is sex, but that’s considerably more fun. It either satisfies you or it doesn’t."
This book gave me all the feels and it was refreshing to have MCs that where the same age as me and relatable. I fell in love with this trio and their story, the mistakes the real life.
This is a love story of 3 people who never talk they would get to wear they are. Jennifer having her heart broken to many times, Nate the all work no play and Jake to scared to settle in one place.
But sometimes life is messy, sometimes we make mistakes. But love is love no matter what form it comes in. Can they make it work?
Highly Recommend all of Alexandra's Books, she never disappoints.
I was REALLY liking this book for the first 75%. It didn’t start like what I had originally expected, which left me curious. I enjoyed the dynamic between the FMC and both MMC’s. It was technically insta-love, but done differently enough that it didn’t FEEL like insta-love! The dates they went on were cute and I feel like that’s something we don’t really get to see in romance books.
All of that to say…and the 3rd act breakup really ruined things for me. It just felt a little too dramatic and I felt like Jen really blew the whole thing out of proportion. It took me out of the story and had a difficult time getting back into the makeup part of it.
The ending rounded off nicely and was an HEA! If I hadn’t been so frustrated by the 3rd act breakup I would have given it 4 stars.

Romantic and filthy!!!!
"I love the tease. I love to keep them hanging on, waiting for more."
Jenny is so confident in her own skin and I love that for her! She knows what she likes in the bedroom and isn't ashamed of it or too shy to ask for it.
Jake is such a cute puppy.......a very obedient licky puppy 😛.
Nate is Broody and reserved.....but not behind closed doors.
Jake is gentle, nurturing and cool. Nate is rough, possessive and hot. Together with Jenny they are...dynamite!!!
This is a story about being brave enough to find and seize your true happiness, despite what society tells us is 'normal'.
They have passion, chemistry, understanding and make each other feel wanted. But, do they have enough trust to navigate a polyamorous relationship and overcome their past experiences that have left them 'damaged'.
The book was romantic yet filthy. The spicy scenes were so dirty. Not just from the MMCs but also Jenny. This is what sets Alexandra apart from other authors. Her FMCs are extremely fiery, sassy, and demanding when it comes to their likes. Well done Alexandra another fab read that entertains but delivers a beautiful message of acceptance and 'love is love'.
I really enjoyed this book for the first half. The characters were quirky and interesting, the banter was fun, the plot was engaging. However, it did lose me a bit during the second half, and the FMC became unlikeable. I agree with other reviewers that the main dispute in this story was something that could have been a non-issue and the FMC wildly overreacted. She was overdramatic, needy, hypocritical, and selfish. It was a shame because she starred out as a funny, strong female character but ended up as a walking red flag.
There is a HEA however I found the ending a bit repetitive - I kept thinking it was the end, but then there was another chapter giving us the same ending again but worded differently/from a different POV.
Still worth a read if you love a spicy why choose romance!
