A good update to previous editions. I still disagree with some of Bauer's interpretation of the data/theory and he still hasn't solved the problem of getting lost in the weeds with calculations and creating a barrier to people imbibing the content. That being said, this is a well put together resource on mechanical ventilation in the Paramedicine setting. Easily the best book on the topic for that specific field of medicine.
