As Latter-day Saints, we have many revealed insights into the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost through the Bible, the scriptures of the Restoration, and living apostles and prophets. And still, sometimes we struggle to feel the sobering awe that we ought to when contemplating, discussing, or approaching in prayer or song our Heavenly Father. How Great Thou Art relies on ancient and modern scripture to help readers understand what we knew of God in our premortal life, how God makes Himself known, what God's character is like, and how we can becomes more like Him. As we better know God, we will grow to understand that His love for us is infinite and that His power and glory extend through all, ultimately leading us closer to both the Father and the Son. By reading and pondering the topics in this book, readers will experience a growing love, respect, reverence, and awe toward Elohim, the Father of our spirits.

This deserves a reread to be able to digest all the nuggets of truth it contains. I wish I had a hard copy to pull quotes from instead of just the audiobook, but, that being said, I'm grateful I could listen and I plan to again.
A very needed review of who Heavenly Father is and what His influence and impact is on the Plan of Salvation and gospel of Jesus Christ. I felt a deep sense that Heavenly Father is wanting us to know Him as I read this.
In this book, Robert Millet teaches about God the Father, using ancient and modern scripture to help the readers understand what we knew of God in our premortal life, how God makes Himself known, what God's character is like, and how we can becomes more like Him. He also shows how knowing these things about our Heavenly Father, helps us actually come to know him better, making our lives more full and helps us feel of his love for us.
I really enjoyed this book, and it made me think about how I am sometimes so focused on my relationship with Jesus Christ, that I neglect my relationship with my Father in Heaven.
I really enjoyed listening to this book. I remember listening and or leading several talks and books mentioned which pleased me as I listened to this book. I feel it is important as does the author to learn more about and to have a reverence for our Heavenly Father. I highly recommend this book.
Robert Millet narrates his own audio version of this book. He wrote this book when he saw there were very few books written about Heavenly Father. He did extensive research including scriptures, quotes and personal stories.
Much of what was in here, I already knew, but there were some good insights. I thought it was interesting that even though the book was a focus on Heavenly Father, there was a lot on his Son as well - they do make a good pair!
