Wild Divide #1

Moonbound Bonds

Rate this book
In the Divide, magic has a way of making you pay twice.

Sable has spent thirteen years as a crime lord's property. When she finally gets the chance to break free, she runs... straight into the jaws of something far worse.

Harkan is ruthless and utterly uninterested in letting her go. When he severs her old chains, he replaces them with something far more a bond that hums beneath her skin every time he's near.

She should hate him, and she does...

But she also can't stop thinking about his hands. His voice. The way his control fractures every time someone looks at her wrong.

With the Mating Moon rising and enemies closing in, Sable is caught between the man hunting her and the wolf claiming her, and a bond that's making it harder to tell the difference between captivity and craving.

Seven nights.
One feral Alpha.
And a bond that won't be denied.

Because when the moon rises and magic comes due, some bonds damn you…

And some mark you forever.

It’s actually insane how much of an amazing writer Annie is and how she does such an incredible job at grabbing your attention within a few pages and hold your brain hostage until the very end. I seriously need more people to read her books, until then I’ll keep yapping about how amazing her work is and Moonbound Bonds is definitely on that list.

From start to end this book was a non stop roller coaster of emotions with an insane plot. After reading finishing the prequel I immediately ran to this book to know what was going to happen next, and didn’t put it down until I was finished. I devoured this book in one sitting and if you have read any of Annie’s writing, you will know why. From the moment you are introduced to Sable and Harken, there was instant chemistry. It was chaos, but in the best way possible. When you first meet Sable she is completely broken, a slave to a man who showed her nothing but cruelty for over a decade and owned her in every way. Harken didn’t stand a chance when Sable jumped into his lap within the first 5 seconds of meeting him. His little woofy fate was sealed instantly and I was giggling like a little girl. I also am obsessed with the fact that this series and the Whisperbound series, which I read last year, will be set in the same universe and intertwined in a way. We meet some oldie but goodie characters which I was so incredibly excited for.

I honestly cannot wait for book two to both series. And I definitely cannot wait to see how this story will play out. There are so many unknowns that will definitely be keeping me up at night wondering what will happen in the coming books. I definitely recommend these books and series if you are looking for something that will immediately grab your attention and hold it hostage.

Oh my goodness—I devoured this book in a single day, and I’m still not over it. My heart is completely wrapped up in this story, and I am already counting down the days until the next installment.

From beginning to end, this book had me hooked. The chemistry between Harken and Sable was electric—intense, beautifully written, and impossible to look away from. Their connection felt raw and real, pulling me deeper into their journey with every page.

What truly stood out was how emotionally gripping this story was. It made me feel everything—tension, longing, hope—and left me aching for more by the final chapter. Watching them struggle to see what was so obvious to the reader made it all the more compelling. You can’t help but root for them, even when they can’t quite find their way to each other.

This was an unforgettable read, and I will be thinking about Harken and Sable long after turning the last page.

I may have been a little late to the game, but every Annie Anderson book I've read so far has been on point, and Moonbound Bonds was no exception. This book was amazeballs. It had everything. Forced proximity, mate bonds, magic, rival packs, dark pasts, deadly politics, and feminine rage. Sabe is feminine rage given human form. Girl was beyond PO'ed, and rightfully so. Being a slave for over a decade to a man who enjoys cruelty is no small feat. I loved how protective Harkan was of Sable. He didn’t let any possessiveness he felt get in the way. He was so gentle with her. Let's face it, Sable was like a feral animal; you had to approach her a certain way, or you might lose a hand. It was actually the thing I liked the most and the least about her. She was stubborn and strong, and she could handle more than her own, but she also built a lot of walls, which was a little frustrating, but Harken managed to get past them. Harken and Sable make a great power couple.

Gods, this book was incredible. I hate that it took me two days to read this book because I didn't want to put it down. Both MCs have traumatic pasts that they're trying to overcome, and they're doing that little by little with the help of each other. The pack was interesting. It's made up of more than just wolves, and being bound to the alpha doesn't earn Sable an automatic spot in the pack's eyes; Sable had to gain their trust first. With the MFC being a witch, I expected the magic to be on par. Annie went above and beyond; the magic was spectacular. Unique powers, potions, rituals, and ancient sites are just a few of the representations of magic.

There was never a lull in the story. Sable and Harken face one thing after another, with everything leading up to the Mating Moon. The buildup was a thing of beauty. All the obstacles they faced were nothing compared to the main event. I was on the edge of my seat. I had a theory pretty early on, and while it wasn't confirmed, it wasn't discarded either. Something is up, and I have a lot of questions. Ugh! I can't wait to get my hands on the next book. Moonbound Bonds is a must-read for fantasy readers who like their romance with guarded characters who learn to trust again.

Oooff 😩

This one was disappointing 🙃

I went into this expecting to eat it up!! Dark paranormal romance, fated mates, possessive alpha MMC… all my usual catnip. And to be fair, I was into it at first. Even though we get dropped straight into the story, it worked… until it didn’t

By like page 30, secrets are already being revealed and information just comes out way too easily. I needed more suspense. Let me work for it a little instead of handing everything over on a platter. It killed any sense of tension way too early

I made it to 69% (yes, I tried 😭), but I couldn’t stop rolling my eyes every other sentence. It started to feel like a copy-paste of every romantasy quote ever. Fear and anguish in the eyes? Something cracking in their chest? Booooooo. I’ve read this all before

The romance was where it really lost me. The MMC being in love with the FMC from the very beginning could’ve worked, but it just flattened his character. All we really get is: he’s obsessed with her… and he has trauma. And not even slowburn trauma, we get basically his entire backstory in the first 20 pages. No mystery, no buildup, nothing to keep me invested. IMO, they had zero chemistry whatsoever

Same with the dynamic, it leans very heavy into that possessive/fated mates energy, but without enough emotional development to balance it. Instead of tension, it just felt kind of suffocating and confusing

The FMC was okkkk. Nothing special. She doesn’t trust him for a while, but then suddenly she’s in love and I was just sitting there confused. Those “walls” she built up? Must’ve been made of candy floss because one drop of water and they were gone

The world itself actually had potential with the witches, wolves, magic systems, all of that, but the pacing didn’t give it room to breathe. Everything felt rushed and repetitive at the same time, which is honestly an achievement 😭

And overall the book just didn’t feel cohesive. There was this weird disconnect between the characters, the pacing, and the emotional beats. Which is the most frustrating part, because this really could’ve been a banger

DNF @ 69% 💔

Thank you to Annie Anderson for the ARC. This is my honest, voluntary review.

When the bond feels more dangerous than freedom

Some stories pull the reader in slowly. ‘Moonbound Bonds’ sinks its claws in almost immediately and refuses to let go. Annie Anderson creates a dark paranormal world filled with dangerous magic, shifting loyalties, and a bond that constantly balances on the thin line between obsession and protection.

Sable is the kind of heroine that immediately stands out. After years of surviving under someone else’s control, every decision she makes carries fear, anger, and desperation beneath the surface. That emotional weight gives the story a rawness that makes the tension feel real. Harkan, on the other hand, is intense, possessive, and absolutely impossible to ignore. Their connection burns from the very first pages, but what made this relationship work so well was the constant struggle between distrust and undeniable attraction.

The atmosphere in this book feels dark, feral, and addictive. The worldbuilding unfolds naturally through the story, while the pacing keeps the danger constantly close. The mix of shifters, magic, rival forces, and the looming Mating Moon created a sense of urgency that made it difficult to stop reading. Especially the emotional and psychological tension between the characters gave the story its strongest moments.

The slow burn worked very well here, though there were a few moments where the possessive dynamic became slightly repetitive. Still, the chemistry, emotional intensity, and darker undertones carried the story effortlessly.

‘Moonbound Bonds’ is a paranormal romantasy filled with danger, longing, and the kind of bond that leaves scars long after the final page. And honestly, that lingering feeling is exactly what makes this story so addictive.

Forced Proximity | Fated Mates | Slow Burn | Enemies to Lovers | Possessive Alpha | Paranormal Romance | Shifters | Touch Her and Die | Powerful FMC | Dark Romantasy

I think this has become one of my favorite books written by Annie. It’s incredibly well-written; I love our MMC and FMC and that we not only see character development, but we also get to see how their backstories have shaped them into who they are. Our side characters are also absolutely vibing with strong seconds and a villain that I’m here to hate for the long haul. While we were given some world-building in A Silence of Shadows, I do wish we had a little more directly related to the wolves here with the different packs, where they’re located in reference to each other in the Divide, the differences in magic of different shifters, etc. We’ve been left with a whole lot of questions that for once, I’m actually not sure I can predict, which I love. I absolutely ate up Sable and Harkan’s story and I’m going to need the next book asap!

I couldn't put this book down! Sable is one strong fmc, and I can't wait to see how she continues to grow through the series.
I love all of Annie's stories, and she did a great job character building with all the characters but especially with Sable and Harkan. I can't wait to see their love continue!

I LOVED this book. I couldn’t put it down. Our FMC is Sable. She’s a witch who has been tricked into slavery. Our MMC is Harkan, Alpha to a mostly wolf pack. I don’t want to give any spoilers but if you love a good Touch Her And Die, Forced Proximity and a he falls first Romantasy, you’ll love Moonbound Bonds.

Did someone say green flag fated mate?!! (Hellooooo Harkan!)

Moonbound Bonds follows the story of Sable, a severely traumatized slave who has recently escaped the clutches of an evil man named Varro, along with her fox familiar, Trouble. Harkan her fated mate, wastes no time taking her under his wing to keep her safe at all costs. This story is fast paced with a lot of action, and definitely keeps you on your toes!

I will forever love that Annie makes every single one of her fmcs total BADDIES, and Sable is no different! She stubbornly gets things done and takes no prisoners like the boss babe that she is.
Harkan is so so good too-I haven’t read a lot of werewolf works, but he is just fabulous for Sable!

I do want to point out that while it is not necessary, it does help reading A Silence of Shadows (Whisperbound I) first! It is set in the same world and helps you follow along easier!

I ate this book UPPPPPPP and cannot wait for book two to come out now :)

3.5

I haven't read anything from this author before, so this book and couple felt like their story started in another series.

But besides that I liked the main character's backstories and journeys separately and together. Sable is a truth teller witch who can taste lies- and was bound in service to a man named Verro after being betrayed and sold by someone she loved. Harkan is an Alpha werewolf (also a dire wolf) who has escaped his father's grasp after centuries of emprisonment and feral state to finally claim his own pack- and now mate Sable.

As I said it feels like we skipped a bit- with the book starting after Sable is free and unwilling bitten by Harkan and now mated. So the trust they build and the war the've started feel a bit rushed. But might read more books by this author to get a better sense of this world before I read on to the next book (which isn't out atm)

First, I want to extend a huge thank you to Annie Anderson for having me as part of her ambassador team and for the gifted eARC of Moonbound Bonds to read and give my honest and spoiler free review about it!

My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My Thoughts:
Moonbound Bonds is such an incredible story! If you like all things supernatural, fated mates, protective alpha MMCs, strong FMCs and animal familiars then this book/series will be for you!

In a world called the Divide where magic has a way of making you pay twice, we meet Sable. A witch who has been known as property of a crime lord for the past 13 years who finds a chance to escape and lands into the path of Harkan, an alpha wolf that claims her and will never let her go. Sable and Harkan were utter perfection! I loved that they were different supernatural beings and even though Harkan is an alpha, he is completely different than most alphas I’ve read about. Yes he is protective and possessive of Sable but he also gives her what she hasn’t had in years…freedom.

Sable is a strong FMC that I really enjoyed learning about. She has been through so much and is learning how to be free again even if she is in a new territory with an alpha wolf as her protector. I loved how sable was strong and didn’t let others bully her into submission or fear. She stood her ground and showed her true power to those who felt like she didn’t belong. She grew a lot in this book and learned how to put her trust in people once again. She did so many things in this book to help Harkan and his pack and it just warmed my heart seeing the others start to accept her. I also really loved how Harkan had his own dark past and was willing to do whatever he could to make sure he didn’t lose anyone else he cared about. His pack was truly amazing as it was made of every type of supernatural being imaginable instead of solely just wolves. His bond with Sable was beautiful and I really loved how their love formed throughout this story.

Harkan and Sable find themselves in the middle of a war they didn’t want but I am curious to see what happens as this story continues. If you want to know why Harkan and Sable are preparing themselves for battle, then you need to check out this book for yourself!

Welcome home.... We've been waiting.

Waiting with Vampires, Were-creatures, Witches and all kinds of supernatural beings in a world where Power is the leading brand of currency and it is what every powerful supernatural cannot get enough of.
This power, is hers.
Sable had been an enslaved witch for over a decade. A Truth-Taster, able to taste the lies of others on her tongue, yet made to perform at the bidding of a brutal man.
But now she is on the run, and he wants her back at whatever the cost!
Sable soon finds herself in trouble, and while under attack, meets Alpha Harkan, and his Wolf lays claim.
For Sable, this mateship is not one she wants.
It's not a part of her plans.
She needs to keep running, or end up back in the hands of her former Master.
Our Wolf, bound by old magic and tradition, is determined to win her over.
Moonbound Bonds is a brilliant, 'he falls first' story, with our hero as wild a wolf as he is a sweet teddy bear. He is the 'touch her and die' type, served with a generous helping of 'I'm going to make you forget your own name'.
It's not your usual expectation of Witch Magic but there's hints of a possible prophecy to be revealed in Book 2 and the development of both the characters, their battles and the magic system is brilliantly done.
You will be left wanting.
You will be cheering on our heros.
And you will be back in November for Book 2 of the Wild Divide series, Moonbound Wrath.

MOONBOUND BONDS is the first book in the Wild Divide series, BUT it is preceded by A Silence of Shadows (Whisperbound #1) and Moonbound Lies (Wild Divide #0.5). I didn't know and haven't read either of them, so I did feel as though I'd dropped into a story already half written.

It begins with Sable plotting her escape from Varro, the bond now broken due to Harken's bite. It's not necessarily that she doesn't want to be bonded to Harken, but more so that she's just spent the last thirteen years bonded against her will to Varro. So she tries to run, Sable and her little fox familiar, Trouble. They don't make it very far, but Harken is there to save the day.

Although their story starts partway through, I was gripped by the ongoing crisis and the characters that move it along so perfectly. Sable and Harken are perfect for each other. Sassy and overprotective - and I'll let you figure out which half is which!

I am loving this story and the characters, and can't wait to see more of them as Sable and Harken's story continues. A great read that I definitely recommend, but I do wish I'd read the others first.

** Same worded review will appear elsewhere. **

I love the strength and power that Annie Anderson puts into her fmcs.

I admire Sable so much! She has been through so much in her life but she didn't let that stop her. Even when she felt like she lost her hope and thought she was broken she still had the strength of hope. It was a beautiful journey she went on in this book. I can't wait to see what she can do after all she went through in this book.

Trouble, Sable's Firefox familiar was awesome. I absolutely love an animal familiar.

Harken! Oh man what a Wolf! I love him! I love his loyalty and undying love for those around him. He was a little mysterious and I adored getting to know him.

I really liked that he met Sable where she was at. He let her be herself and figure out what she wanted and needed. I think this quiet love was what allowed her to fall for him and respect him. That made their relationship better and stronger.

The battle at the end was so tense and emotional. I can't wait for the next book for Sable and Harken to get all the vengeance and justice they deserve!

Overall I loved reading this book and loved the characters! I am excited to read the next one!

Thank you to the author Annie Anderson and team for the eARC!

Enjoying this so far but will admit that the characters referring to past situations is sort of driving me to distraction. The reader is getting memories, not the experience as it happens so you’re left trying to fill gaps with your imagination.*

Why is Harkan’s father the High Alpha? If he’s so gol darn powerful, why doesn't he just take back the territory (and the pack?) that Harkan has claimed? While I’m questioning things, what about Petra? There’s been no indication that she’s been dealt with. Send her off to the High Alpha; I’m sure she’d fit right in.

More questions - Sable refers to Varro keeping her in chains yet she also talks about her mother’s shop as if she had been tending it in the not too distant past. Varro enslaved her for thirteen years so I doubt that the shop would still be in decent condition when she and Harlan visit it. (It’s spelled, of course. What was I thinking?)

I found this a compelling read and can’t wait to read the sequel. What kind of supe is Sable? Why does Harkan’s father know? Speaking of fathers, who is Sable’s sire? These questions - and many others - will hopefully be answered in the next episode of Wild Divide.

*So a lot of authors will mention a bonus chapter at the end of the book. Ms Anderson offers the lead up to the sequel Moon Bound Wrath but nary a peep about Moonbound Lies which apparently is a prequel available on BookFunnel. I only found this out because I was checking out other books by Annie Anderson. I haven’t read it yet but expect it will answer a lot of my questions.

This book grabbed me from the start! It latched on and refused to release me back into society.

At this point Annie is an auto buy author for me. Zero hesitation. The way she spins a story...illegal. I was dragged into the Divide and simply never returned.

Sable. That’s my girl! The strength, the resilience, the slow, fragile rebuilding of trust after everything she’s endured… I was rooting for her like my life depended on it.

And Harkan…I mean, c'mon!
A feral, touch her and perish alpha with a dark past who still softens only for her?
yeahhh… I folded instantly. No notes. I, too, would like one if him (for research purposes of course).

The magic system is thick, layered, and a little bit cruel, the world is dark in that delicious, haunting way, and the writing wraps around you like a spell you don’t want broken.

And that tension? the bond? the Mating Moon looming like a threat and a promise? Ugh!!
I was eating this up like it was my last meal.

By the time we hit the end and everything starts gearing up for battle, I was left staring into the void with QUESTIONS, and absolutely no patience for the wait until book two in November.

3.5 rounded down to 3. For the most part I enjoyed this. It was so much better than A Silence of Shadows (Merit's book).

I liked Sable and Harkan as characters and a couple even though it was very much instalove. Sable resists him angrily for all of 5 seconds before falling head over heels and having a brief miscommunication that leads to a slight relationship setback before they seal the mate bond like 3-5 days after they meet.

Most of my issues center on the fact that it was so angsty so often that I could not round up to 4 stars. The traumatic backstories for both main characters were way over the top and it ended up feeling like the suffering olympics. There were endless dramatic declarations that got a bit eye roll worthy after a while. There were also a lot of plot threads and while they were all pretty interesting the book just wasn't long enough for things to be developed as well as they could have been. Petra as an antagonist for example. That felt so shallow and was resolved so effortlessly it was ridiculous.

I hope that the second book dials down the angst a bit, throws less random plot threads around and works on really fleshing out what we already have.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

Moonbound Bonds, Book 1 of the Wild Divide series, was a great read. I didn't read the short story Moonbound Lies introducing Sable and Harkan before starting Book 1 but I will definitely be going back to reas it. Sable is a witch who was introduced in A Silence of Shadows. The FMC was such a bada$$. She has been through a lot since becoming the property of Varro and when she becomes free of him courtesy of Harkan, she at first wants to leave everything behind but decides after getting hurt and healed to stay and get to know Harkan's pack. From there she helps defend the pack and the pack come to accept her as one of them. Harkan was so protective of Sable and loyal. He has a traumatic past as well and works through it with Sable's help. They were definitely fated as mates for this reason. The story was action packed and they both hardly had time to recover before the next issue popped up. I can't wait to see what happens to Harkan's father and especially Rafe in the next book and hope Trouble, the crazy fox, gets to let lose some serious foxfire on him. Looking forward to Book 2. It can't come soon enough.

I enjoyed reading this one! It explored the depths of survival, connection, and loyalty.

This book is perfect for those who appreciate a darker romantasy read with shifters, a cute furry familiar, and a perfect, tall-dark-and-handsome hero.

We got an intro to Sable and Harkan’s story in “Moonbound Lies”, a novella included in the anthology “Beasts And Bonds” that also features works from May Dawson, Sophie Davis, Heather Renee, Kel Carpenter & Aurelia Jane, Holly Roberds, Heather Hildenbrand, and McKenzie Hunter.

After finishing Moonbound Lies, I was instantly hooked and needed to see where Sable and Harkan's story led through Moonbound Bonds! I was intrigued by the unique magical abilities, fantastical beings, and the world that Annie created this story in.

I am also a complete sucker for books that have an animal familiar/sidekick… They just contribute so much to the story in unexpected ways! I love when I can read a story and not be able to guess what will happen next.

Thank you to Annie Anderson for the ARC!

***ARC Review***

Moonbound Bonds by Annie Anderson is part of an interconnected world/series and the first book in the Wild Divide series. A Silence of Shadows (Whisperbound 1) and Moonbound Lies (prequel to Moonbound Bonds) predate Moonbound Bonds.

Moonbound Bonds currently has been my favorite book that Annie Anderson has written. You’ll find a sassy and strongminded witch named Sable (FMC) and a protective, but respectable direwolf shifter names Harken (MMC). Their relationship is mostly Sable trying to fight the bond that is between her and Harken; while he does his best to give her the space she needs.

This is an action pack, chaotic, trauma filled, relatively fast paced story that has me invested and dying to read more. I cannot wait to continue with this series. If you are someone who likes stories with trauma, action, mating bonds, and a MMC who falls first.. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

This one pulled me in right away…

Book Review - Moonbound Bonds by Annie Anderson

This is the start of a new series, and it’s already so good. We follow Sable, who is already struggling under the control of a crime lord when her world gets even more complicated—enter Harken, her mate.

And their dynamic?? She’s drawn to him but also hates him, and that tension makes every interaction so good. You can really feel how torn she is between what she’s been through and what she might want. All she truly wants is freedom, and watching her try to figure out how to get there kept me completely hooked.

Also… can we talk about Trouble?? Her fox is such a fun addition and brought moments of light into an otherwise intense story.

This book is full of tension, emotion, and that pull of “what happens next” that makes it hard to put down. I’m so ready to see where Sable’s journey goes from here.

Annie wrote it, so I read it. Actually, I devoured it, I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. Fuelled on coffee and adrenaline I sped through from start to finish. You can probably guess how much I loved this and I truly did. Sable is fierce, sarcastic and so very determined. She's loyal, brave and so much stronger than she realises. She's also, a bit broken. She doesn't trust easily, she doesn't believe in good things and she is afraid to hope. Until Harken, her strong protector. Haunted by nightmares, afraid to lose himself. They were perfect for each other. Evil practitioners, corrupt magic, gods, monsters, this was a roller coaster ride from start to finish and now I going to lie down in a dark room for a bit

I thought I was staying pretty on top of my Annie Anderson lore. But she snuck one past me. I started to read *Moon Bound Bonds* and immediately had questions. So I took a pause and stalked Annie's website. Y’all. I missed one—I missed the prequel *Moon Bound Lies*. But it’s okay. I caught back up. I’m watching you, Ms. Anderson.

I finished *Moon Bound Bonds* feeling completely satisfied—but also immediately ready for the next book. Like…yes, Sable is about to be an absolute force, and I need to be right there beside her while she figures it all out.

Annie Anderson just doesn’t miss. Every time I think I know what to expect, she still manages to pull me deeper into the story. This is just another gold standard she’s adding to her collection.

Another stunning book from Annie. This book takes place in the same world as A Silence of Shadows, and I love seeing the world be expanded upon further. You do need to read Moonbound Lies before this book, as this book starts where the novella ends.

Sable is a strong FMC, and I love that Harkan respects her need to handle somethings herself. Though I'll be honest, the real star of the show is Trouble. The little fire fox familiar is so sassy despite not really having the ability to talk. I love him so much.

I know that there's more to come and now I get to eagerly await the next book.

Thanks to Annie for letting me be a part of her ARC team, and giving me the opportunity to read this book early.

This book was so good! It's a fast-paced, action-packed whirlwind of forced proximity and fated mates.

Sable is a survivor. After being forced into slavery because of her truth-tasting powers, she finally gains her freedom, only to be trapped by a mating bond she didn't ask for. Now she has to find a way to escape from her mate as quickly as possible while trying not to be captured by the man who enslaved her.

Harken wants his mate with everything he has, but he understands what it's like to be enslaved and doesn't want to trap Sable into something she doesn't want. That is until his mate is attacked, and he must keep her close to protect her.

I absolutely loved this book, and I'm chomping at the bit for the next one! I need to know what happens next!

This is my first Annie Anderson book, and it was wonderful. A quick two-day read that is hard to put down. This had it all: Fantasy, romance, dark pasts, forced proximity, mate bonds, and much more.

I fell in love with both of the MCs. Sable, a witch and a very strong woman, which I always love. I did find myself becoming sad over her losses in life, which shows what a great writer Annie Anderson is. And then comes Harkan, a strong male who treats Sable like a princess. Their love story has many obstacles and keeps you turning the page.

Did I mention the cutest character ever? A tiny fox named Trouble. Oh my gosh, I fell in love with him and his magic sparkles.

Grab this book! It will not disappoint you and is a fast read.

A wonderful story full of hurt , redemption ,and love. That’s what I think when I read Sable and Harkan story. I loved them both sable a snarky witch that has a built in bs detector . I loved her fox Trouble . Harkan was almost broken alpha I couldn’t believe his background and the evil person who is his father. These two came a long way despite how they met and came together. There was a lot of deception and a lot of truths uncovered . Yet there is still something that is sitting in the back of Sable’s head when she is near the altar. As for these two they have a huge problem coming their way and I can’t wait to see what secrets are uncovered and what the outcome will be. I’m on the edge of my seat… waiting.

I devoured Harken and Sable's story in one night. The push, pull, tension and angst were everything. Sable a former witch slave and Harken and alpha wolf who marks her without her consent bonding her to him in order to help save her, set them on a path of enemies to lovers that grew into a soul shattering love that was all consuming.

Living in a pack house surrounded by wolves who didn't trust her and wanted her gone; Sable constantly proved her worth to the point that the Pack couldn't imagine her leaving.

I can't wait for the next book because that ending proves that Sable is definitely the G.O.A.T and by the end of the book everybody was putting some respect on her name. LOL
