Angsty, dark, forced proximity, arranged marriage MC romance in a short-read novella.
The Kings of Darkness MC bought themselves a bride. Too bad the woman who refuses to kneel to the Prez.
Reva’s future was sold the moment her mother struck a deal with the club.
As part of the bargain meant to keep their town safe, Reva was promised to the Kings of Darkness.
The day the club president comes to collect, everyone expects her to bow her head and accept her fate.
Instead, she meets him with grace in her walk, and fire in her eyes.
Reva refuses to give in. Not even the ruthless, battle-hardened president of the Kings of Darkness MC.
But defiance is the one thing guaranteed to light his fuse.
The older MC president isn’t a man used to being challenged. The moment Reva pushes back, a dark and possessive energy ignites between them.
What explodes between them makes every relationship she’s ever known seem like child’s play.
Because the kind of dominance he offers is the kind only a powerful man can wield.
But giving in means losing everything she’s fought for. Her scholarship, her independence, and the dream business she refuses to abandon could go up in smoke.
When the rival MC tries to take what's his, the Prez faces a brutal choice.
He could send Reva to another MC for protection, or keep her where she now belongs, by his side in the heat of battle.

Prez's Property: THE KINGS OF DARKNESS MC, Book 2 by KB WYLDE
A Spicy MC, Arranged Marriage, Age Gap Instalove Quick Read
Rating: ★★★☆☆(3 stars)
Tagline: Loyalty, danger, and desire collide behind the club walls.
Review: Prez’s Property delivers a gritty, dark MC romance that pulls readers into a fast-paced world of action, steamy scenes, and fierce dynamics between its leads. Reva, a strong-willed heroine, enters an arranged marriage with Roland “Bolt” Morrison, the possessive and dominant MC president. From the first page, the tension is palpable, immersing readers in violence, betrayal, and raw desire.
One of the book’s greatest strengths is the chemistry between Reva and Prez. Their connection sizzles from the outset, with Reva’s resistance to Prez’s dominance fueling an intense power struggle that propels the plot. Reva’s emotional journey—from resistance to acceptance—offers believable character development and adds depth to the story’s relentless momentum.
The pacing stays brisk, with non-stop action—steamy moments, club attacks, betrayals, and rescue missions—that keep the stakes high. The author’s world-building effectively immerses you in the MC’s gritty environment, while vivid secondary characters add color and depth. Dialogue is sharp and engaging, enhancing the dynamic atmosphere. Readers seeking a fast-paced, high-heat MC romance with strong character dynamics and darker themes will find plenty to enjoy. Transitioning into a more detailed critique: Story Content: While the relationship between Reva and Prez is central and compelling, the story sometimes rushes through major revelations and plot turns without much buildup or emotional fallout. For instance, the traitor’s identity emerges abruptly late in the book, with minimal foreshadowing or character reaction. Certain choices—such as Husk risking an incapacitated Prez during a rescue mission—feel unrealistic and may pull some readers out of the story’s world. The resolution of significant conflicts, including the arranged marriages and leadership changes, happens so quickly that it lacks the emotional depth and closure often expected from a high-stakes series. Editing Issues: Frequent typos, grammatical mistakes, and inconsistencies distract from the reading experience. Awkward sentence structure and missing words occur throughout, making the book feel unpolished and in need of a thorough edit. These errors can break immersion and, at times, make it difficult to follow the action or dialogue. Inconsistencies: The story suffers from significant timeline and character discrepancies between Book 1 and Book 2. Key plot events—like when the rescue mission is planned and executed—are described differently in each book, and character portrayals (such as Reva’s demeanor and Whitney’s status) change without explanation. Leadership transitions and the ending of arranged marriages are handled inconsistently across the two books, which may frustrate readers following the series closely. Despite its flaws, Prez’s Property excels at creating a gritty, immersive MC world with high heat, intense character dynamics, and bold emotional storytelling. The author’s style brings energy and drama, even if the execution is sometimes uneven. Readers who crave fast-paced, steamy MC romance—and can overlook occasional editing or continuity issues—will find plenty to enjoy in this book.

Prez’s Property is one of those intense, fast-paced reads that pulls you straight into a gritty world where power, loyalty, and desire collide—and it doesn’t let up for a second. From the very first page, you can feel the tension crackling between duty and defiance, and it makes this story impossible to put down.
Reva is such a standout character. She may be forced into a situation she never chose, but she refuses to lose herself in it. Instead of bowing, she meets Roland—the ruthless MC president—with strength, fire, and a quiet kind of resilience that makes her impossible to ignore. Watching her hold onto her dreams and independence, even when everything is stacked against her, adds a powerful emotional layer to the story.
Roland, on the other hand, is every bit the commanding, dominant hero you expect—but what makes him compelling is how Reva challenges him. He’s a man used to control, to obedience, to being unquestioned… and she disrupts all of that. Their dynamic is intense from the start—charged with tension, push-and-pull conflict, and a chemistry that feels as dangerous as it is addictive.
What really drives this story is the balance between darkness and devotion. The MC world is harsh—filled with violence, loyalty, and high-stakes danger—but within it, there’s this evolving connection that slowly shifts from possession to something deeper. Roland may claim her, but it’s the way he ultimately fights for her safety, even when it costs him, that gives the story its emotional punch.
The plot moves quickly, but it’s packed with drama—rival clubs, threats closing in, and impossible choices that keep the tension high. And through it all, the connection between Reva and Roland burns hotter with every scene, making their journey feel both explosive and surprisingly heartfelt.
If you enjoy dark MC romances with strong heroines, dominant protective heroes, and stories where love is forged in the middle of chaos, this one delivers. It’s bold, emotional, and full of intensity—perfect for readers who like their romance a little dangerous, a little messy, and completely consuming.

There’s a saying that you can’t judge a book by its cover, but I am judging the heck out of that awful cover. Luckily, the adage holds true and it’s a pretty good book. Ten-cent summary: Prez, aka Bolt, aka Roland, arranges with Reva’s mother for Reva to be his “bride”: his old lady and property, in exchange for protection for the mom, her business, and, incidentally, Reva, during the oncoming MC war. Reva, who is an expert barista, is resistant to the idea until she finds out that Bolt’s size-fifteen shoes are proportional. To everything. Cat’s Stats Heat- explicit Bechdel test- passed Safety? Y Triggers- graphic violence, language, bad coffee. Tropes- then I saw her face- now I’m a barista, forced proximity, arranged marriage, age gap, Instalove. What I liked- I enjoyed the book overall, but I really thought there was something that is more realistic than other MC Romance: the good guys didn’t escape the war unscathed. There were serious injuries, unalived brothers, and even a poisoning. The bad guys were not like the stormtroopers from a certain trademarked film franchise. I liked that a lot.

When she hears from her mother that she’s been traded for safety, she is furious. And when he shows up at the diner, ready to pick up his bride, she is determined not to make it easy. He isn’t used to being challenged, but she is his and he’s taking her. He recognizes her fire, and knows she will make a fine queen. He just has to get through the battle ahead and keep her in the club safe. There is MC drama that runs through this story as well as the others in the series. Each couple has their own individual standalone but it helps with the backstory if you read them in order. These two are an unexpected pair, but they have chemistry and they find out that they fit. Their spice is steamy, their chemistry hot, all wrapped up in a quick MC read.

This is the second book in the Kings of Darkness MC, where arranged marriages were done to protect some of the local girls from rival MC. Reva did not want to get married she had plans of her own, that did not involve being the Prez's old lady. Bolt/Roland is not used to a woman resisting him, the fact that she challenges him, just interests him more. She is not just part of a deal, she has come to mean everything to him. This is short read with plenty of action and heated moments.

Revas mother strikes a deal for her to marry with Prez to keep the town safe from a rival mc, but that means Revas dreams and independence are shattered by the dominating and older Prez, but when he comes to collect she wont bow down to him only when trouble comes for her Prez will do anything to keep her safe, even if it means letting her go? Well written fast paced insta hot loving, age gap, MC romance
A good story with him getting a bride on contract from her mom. Reva wasn’t looking for a husband, she was wanting college. But when he picked her up on him bike the rest was history. The rival MC did some damage but when it’s all said and done they got their hea. They last part kinda threw me and I’m not sure how to fill about it yet.

This was hot, spicy, and intense. Reva wasn’t about to go quietly. To conform. She was fierce and nothing Roland was expecting. I loved the action and chaos, the danger and more. When they finally connected, it was explosive. A really great novella.
Prez has met his match, Reva was promised to the MCs but she didn't come willingly. Looking for a steamy read where the MMC meets his match in a sassy FMC and they both burn the pages, this one rocks.
