What if your life turned into a real whirlwind romance… and you got engaged on day three?
She was living in Europe, chasing adventure. He was divorced and had two kids. They were strangers when they met… and somehow, three days later, they were engaged.
Sounds crazy. Unrealistic. Reckless, even. But sometimes, love doesn’t follow the rules—and God has a hand in the unexpected.
Set against the tropical beauty of Brazil and the storybook charm of Europe, Three Days to Fall in Love is a heartwarming, swoon-worthy story about second chances, trusting God’s timing, and saying yes to a love you never saw coming.
Full of laughter, adventure, and tender romance, it’s a story that will make you giggle, sigh, and believe in the hope that some things are simply meant to be.
Because when God writes the story… three days is more than enough.
What a truly delightful romance! From the first chapter, I found myself utterly enthralled with this beautiful story—and knowing it was based off of a true story made it all the more interesting! Having already read Nataly’s story in London, Love, & A Little Something Irish, I was excited to delve into her parents’ story, and it certainly did not disappoint! I would recommend this sweet story for readers who enjoy a beautiful love story interwoven with God moments ♥️
“𝙻𝚘𝚟𝚎 𝚒𝚜𝚗’𝚝 𝚓𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝚊𝚗 𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗. 𝙸𝚝’𝚜 𝚊 𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚖𝚒𝚝𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝.”
Having been a beta reader for Nataly’s first book, I really enjoyed seeing her improvements in the writing department with this book! While it wasn’t perfect (because no one is quite perfect lol), she did a fantastic job, in my opinion, and I’m excited to read any of her future books!
One of my favorite aspects to this story was Lizzie’s close relationship with her sister, Gabby. Having a sister of my own, who I’m close with, I really appreciated the deep friendship these girls maintained, even though many miles separated them at times. Their unbreakable bond—portrayed through laughter, camaraderie, and deep conversations—was a true joy to read about!
While I’m not typically a fan of insta-connection stories, this one won me over! It certainly helped that it was actually based off of a true story, and not just imagined 😉 I may not believe that there’s only one specific person for everyone out there, but it certainly seemed as though Nate and Lizzie were meant to be together in a special way.
I love that God was such a central part in both MCs’ lives! It’s truly so rare to see people so on fire for the Lord, involving Him in every aspect of their lives. I really appreciate the fact that readers can learn from these characters and grow in their own Christian lives!
The only thing I really struggled with in this story was the divorce and remarriage aspect. While I do feel like the Bible gives grounds for divorce if absolutely necessary, I don’t believe it allows for remarriage; thus, I struggled to get fully behind this love story. If that part would have been omitted, I would have wholeheartedly adored this sweet romance; but alas, it was a very central part of the book, as it was based on a true story 😬
**I received an Advanced Copy of the book, and am reviewing it honestly**
I want to start by saying thank you to Nataly for allowing me the opportunity to be part of your ARC team. It was truly a blessing to read this book!❤️
To be honest I thought I was going to rate this a 3.5 because I was kinda having a hard time getting into it (so I thought!), I was starting to think maybe this book isn't for me...😭 Then it took a turn I did not expect and was actually such an amazing book.🥹💕 Sometimes I feel like I am easily pleased because of how many 5 stars I give out lol, but this book deserves it. If a book can make me cry, laugh and give me butterflies it earns the stars and the recommendations!🥰 The faith theme that took place was one of my favorite things in this book. I could literally picture everything in my head from all the beautifully described details and that was something I truly enjoyed! I had to run out and buy the physical so I am excited to add this beauty to my book collection! The fact that this was a true love story made it just that much better for me. I haven't read London, Love and a Little Something Irish, but I will be reading it now! I also will recommend this to others! Such a cute story and a beautiful testament of God's goodness!❤️
Some Quotes I Loved (there were so many I loved but I won't put them all🤣):
"My body is doing things without my permission tonight, apparently."
"My pulse jumps, quick and traitorous, like my body knows something my mind is still trying to rationalize."
"it reopened my heart. To love. To life. To the possibility that God could take my most broken chapter and turn it into something."
"Some people don't think God picks out one person for you - and that's fine. But for me? If I trust God with everything, why would I not trust Him to pick out my future husband for me? He knows me better than I know myself and knows who would fit me best. When I meet the one who fits this list... I'1l know. Without a shadow of a doubt that it'll be no coincidence. It`11 be God. Someday, I'11 have a love that God orchestrated. And I'1l wait for it. Because when the time comes, God's version of my story? It'll be nothing short of breathtaking."
Let me first start off by thanking the author and BookFunnel for the e-ARC! All opinions expressed are my own.
From the moment I started this story, I was hooked! From the setting, the characters, and the plot…I couldn’t put this book down! 😭 I loved that this was set in Brazil! 🇧🇷 The city’s scenery was expressed so beautifully! I think what made this more beautiful was that this was based on the author’s parents’ love story. And when I say I swooned?! I SWOONED. 🥰 The way that God was woven into Lizzie and Nate’s love story was so beautiful to read. It shows that God can make anything happen, literally! I adored everything about this story, just as I did when I read Nataly’s debut! If you’re looking for something with a tropical feel, faith themes, and swoon-worthy romance, I suggest you read this story when it releases on March 29th! 🌴☀️💗
This was the sweetest story, made even sweeter once realizing it was a true story adapted to a fiction book!
Nate & Lizzie were the cutest pair! I loved watching how quickly they fell in love and how they made their decisions based on Peace from the Lord! The ending was probably my favorite, you got to see the story completely through PLUS an epilogue 25 years in the making!
🌶️ Spice: None 🤬 Language: None
This is my first book by Nataly, and I really enjoyed being able to ARC read it! 💖
This was my first opportunity to beta read a no spice, openly Christian book and it was so so special, an honor even. It means soo much that this is the author’s parents love story. Nataly has a talent with describing amazing settings and helping readers feel immersed in the culture and cuisine! 💗
This book is based on a true love story, which made it all the more magical to read🥺
After reading Nataly and Nathan’s story in Love and a Little Something Irish and seeing how deeply her parents’ love shaped her view of romance, I couldn’t wait to dive into Three Days to Fall In Love.
This may be a quick read, but it carries a depth that lingers. It beautifully captures God’s timing and the kind of love He so carefully orchestrates.
Lizzie is pure sunshine, with a joyful, deeply caring spirit that lights up every page. Her family adds such a cozy charm to the story, bringing humor and warmth that make everything feel even more special. Camilla was easily one of my favorite characters. Her spirit, her sass, and the way she adds an extra layer of humor made every scene she was in even more enjoyable.
Nate’s journey from heartbreak to healing was one of the most touching threads woven through the story. There’s something incredibly moving about the way he chooses to trust God again, opening his heart despite the risk. And the way he loves Lizzie completely stole my heart🥺😍. His thoughtfulness and intentionality, the way he truly sees her, made every moment between them feel so genuine and tender.
Nataly Jennings doesn't just write beautiful love stories, she boldly pours her faith into it and it shows. It’s not just something mentioned in passing, it’s woven so naturally and confidently into the narrative, reflecting a deep trust in God and His plan. The kind of storytelling that leaves a lasting impression.
It’s easy to understand why Nataly’s entire outlook on love was shaped by Lizzie and Nate’s story. Their relationship reflects what it means to choose each other daily, to trust God’s leading even when the path feels uncertain, even when it asks you to step into the unknown. Knowing that this love story is grounded in truth makes it all the more special. It carries that quiet reminder that the kind of love that feels like a fairytale can exist, written by the most faithful Author of all.
Thank you to the author for the opportunity to read this story early.
Let’s meet Nate, known for his steadiness, and Lizzie, who is elegant and cheerful. The novel is based on a true story, in which we can see God’s work in bringing two people together. As it took only three days for Nate and Lizzie to march on the new journey, there would not be lots of outings or activities spent together. However, the author portrayed the characters’ inner dialogues in details, enabling the readers to follow the train of thoughts in decision making.
I love the story. I like the family vibe and lifestyle in this story. Resetting the life was not easy for Nate but he had wonderful people to keep him company. They helped Nate through adversity. It was good to have someone to talk to so that Nate didn’t feel trapped or weighed down.
Reading about the strong family bond and siblings love in Lizzie’s family, now I know the reason Lizzie was bubbly and graceful. Raised in a warm and loving family, she grew into a well-rounded lady. Lizzie made the conversation between Nate and her flowed natural and comfortable. Her charisma was attractive not only to Nate, I believe her friends also liked her.
Nate was mature and calm when thinking of the possibility to have Lizzie as his lifelong partner. He was not pushing Lizzie to give a promise knowing the circumstances lay ahead of them. Both of them prayed to seek God’s will and to check if they experienced God’s peace. Parents’ opinions were also crucial in this case, they knew best.
It is amazing to read how two lovely people were brought together through the intuition of those around them. Yet, intuitive accuracy is the concern, it can be vague at times. The more I read about the characters, it is obvious that God’s hand was in it. When all the criteria were met, things fall into place, although the time duration was short.
God’s work is unique, we shall understand that a repeated experience on other people may or may not work. To those who share the same faith as the author, always read the Bible, pray and seek God’s guidance when finding 'the one'. To those who are looking for a sweet story set in the tropical country, this is for you as well. Happy reading.
And, I would like to express my gratitude to Nataly for having me to review this ARC, it is a blessing to read this lovely story.
ARC Review – Three Days To Fall In Love by Nataly Jenning
I’ll start by saying I am a natural sceptic, so the idea of falling in love in three days sounded very unlikely to me. I went into this book with certain expectations, and I was genuinely surprised in the best way.
This is not your typical love story. Nate, the main character, is divorced with two kids, which already makes the story feel more real and grounded than the usual romance. Knowing that the book is based on a true story makes it even more special. It really felt like a testament to redemption, second chances, and how life doesn’t always follow the path we planned — but sometimes the unexpected path is the better one.
Lizzie was such a lovely character — fun, charming, a bit clumsy, and very sweet. She felt very real and very easy to like. I also really appreciated that the story wasn’t just about two people falling recklessly head over heels. Nate was stable, thoughtful, and careful, which made the relationship feel believable and mature rather than impulsive.
What stood out to me most was the strong faith element throughout the story. Their journey felt like a testament to trust and surrender — trusting God’s plan even when it doesn’t make sense and believing that His plan is greater than our own. That message came through very naturally in the story.
The setting also added so much to the book. From hot Brazil, especially Recife, to parts set in Switzerland, the descriptions were so vivid that I felt like I was there with the characters. I could almost see, smell, and experience everything with them.
This book left me feeling warm, cozy, and comforted — like I had just been given a hug. A very wholesome story about second chances, faith, love, and trusting that God’s plan is always better than our own.
Three Days to Fall in Love is a tender, faith-filled story that highlights the beauty of trusting God’s timing. Told through dual POV, it follows Nate, a devoted father healing from a divorce he never wanted, and Lizzie, an adventurous young woman hoping to connect with her family’s roots while working abroad in Europe. Although their lives are very different, both entrust their hearts to God’s timing and plans.
When Lizzie returns home to Brazil, an invitation from her family’s pastor leads her to meeting Nate. What unfolds is an instant, undeniable connection. It becomes even more special as they realize they reflect many of the qualities each other had prayed for in a future partner. Their story unfolds with a sense of divine timing, as if every step had been guided by the Lord.
What I loved most is how genuine everything in this book feels. Nate and Lizzie’s personalities fit together perfectly, and their faith is woven naturally into the story. The author’s retelling of her parents’ love story adds a personal touch, making every emotion feel authentic and heartfelt. Three Days to Fall in Love is a beautiful reminder that God’s plans are greater than our own, delivering a romance that is both real and perfectly timed. 💗📖
4.5 ⭐️ Review — Three Days to Fall in Love by Nataly Jennings
Three Days to Fall in Love is a delightful, feel-good romance that perfectly captures the magic—and uncertainty—of a whirlwind love story. Nataly Jennings crafts a charming narrative that sweeps you up quickly, making it easy to root for the characters as they navigate emotions that develop far faster than they ever expected.
What makes this story especially meaningful is the underlying reminder that sometimes the best things in life come when we least expect them. There’s a gentle but powerful thread of faith woven throughout, encouraging readers to trust that God can bring about beautiful, life-changing moments if we’re willing to step forward with courage and take that leap of faith.
The pacing mirrors the premise—quick, engaging, and full of heart—while still allowing space for emotional depth and reflection. The romance is sweet, uplifting, and filled with those little moments that make you smile.
Overall, this is a joyful, inspiring read that leaves you with a sense of hope and a renewed belief in unexpected blessings. Perfect for anyone who enjoys clean romance with a meaningful message about trust, faith, and embracing the beautiful surprises life can bring.:
it’s my first ever received ARC and it feels like a huge honour😊 I loved this book with my whole heart, it ask about finding your person, steady love that just feels like a missing puzzle was found and God’s character and guidance though everything. Loved it so much and excited for everyone to read it❤️ *full review*
I loved this story so much, it was so easy to read, and knowing that’s it’s based on real story is just so beautiful😍 I loved the characters so much - Lizzie as confident and adventurous as she is and Nate for his maturity and steadiness. Also for both for them just how they relied on God in their journey. It just so beautiful to see God working in their life. I loved how redemption was shown, and how something beautiful was birthed from it. The part where they made list of qualities for their future partners is just so cool, I want to do mine as well. But overall this story was all about trust for me, trust God to help you, to lead you and to take care of you❤️ As a romance girlie myself, this story just melted my heart. I kept thinking that’s the relationship I want, the peace, the steadiness. It was just so beautiful. And the last epilogue about Nataly’s wedding, I couldn’t stop my tears. Knowing that her parents marriage still holds strong with the same love and peace it truly beautiful❤️ God has his beautiful ways to work in our lives. I loved how God was mentioned in everything, that’s how I want in to be in my life. Thank you for showing already second good example of that, it’s so beautiful ❤️ 10/10⭐️
I was an ARC reader and am reviewing this honestly** TY for the opportunity to read the advanced copy!
I loved this book! It’s a total Rom-Com - I found myself laughing often. Lizzie and I shared so many similarities. Their family dynamic is similar to mine with my sisters and brothers. Nate’s background truly touched me being a divorcee with a child. God spoke to me in many ways throughout this book. I cried and was convicted. A quote from the book that truly touched me was “Because when the time comes, God’s version of my story? It’ll be nothing short of breathtaking.” Whatever that story will be God is the author. This story is easy to follow, steady flow and poetic. The imagery used is beautiful. Thank you for such a beautiful inspiring story. God is the ultimate matchmaker and romantic!
ARC REVIEW: I ABSOLUTELY LOVED Lizzie and Nate’s story. Nataly Jennings did an amazing job of sharing the whirlwind romance between Lizzie and Nate, while placing the importance of trusting God’s timing, whether quick or taking it’s time, and praying for His guidance in every part of your life. I really enjoyed the surrounding relationships around both main characters (Lizzie’s families, church members, Camila, etc) and the love and support they showed Nate and Lizzie. The fact that this is a true love story of Nataly’s parents with a couple fiction changes makes it even better! Please go and read this book and Nataly’s other story!
This book is soo great! I loved Lizzie and Nate’s story and how much passion they’ve had about God and how he can work in their lives. I definitely recommend this book and her first book London Love And A Little Something Irish. Thank you to Nataly for allowing me the opportunity to be an official ARC member for Three Days To Fall In Love. I never thought this could ever happened but I thank God for it! I truly cherish this book and her first one. They are truly some of my top reads of 2026. Thank you Nataly for writing such a wonderful, heartfelt, book about your parent’s love story. 💕
When I tell you this is the best book I have ever read I truly mean it. It tells a love story of hope and consistently showing up even when you’re unsure.i not only loved Nataly Jennings first book “London love and a little something Irish.” But I love this one even more. It tells her parents love story and it gives me so much joy and comfort to know that this truly happened. It shows that love still exists and thought it might seem hard and scary to get, author Jennings shows that love will always find a way of finding you. I 1000%reccomend.
This was such a sweet, romantic read! I love the true story behind it! The author is great at painting scenes and landscape that I could see clearly as if watching a movie. I felt like I was immersed in Brazilian culture and found my mouth watering at the description of all of the different foods. I was totally swept up in the romance of the people, landscape, food, and culture and the Faith theme is strong for a good reason!
I was so excited to read Nataly's new book after loving 'London, Love & A Little Something Irish' and this book didn't disappoint. Nataly writes such sweet, faith filled romantic stories with swoony moments you'll be thinking of for days. I loved that this book was based on a true story and that you could see God's hand working in all the little moments in such specific ways - I think that makes romance all the sweeter. 3.75 stars
Thank you for including me in your ARC team Nataly!
What an interesting read! When I first read the premise, I was intrigued. When I realized it's a true story, I was pretty shocked. The skeptic in me is appalled how the story actually ended up. I loved how Brazil was such a huge part of the story and was a great introduction to that culture. The writing really made the story easy to picture. A very good Christian romance, for sure!
Thank you, Nataly Jennings for an E-ARC of this book! It was so GOOD and reading a story that happened in real life is so inspiring and how amazing that God orchestrated it all by hand. So swoony and beautifully written. My rating: 3.75 ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
I absolutely loved this novel! It was a beautiful love story but I also loved the relationship between the sisters and Lizzie and her parents. I also loved how this was based on a God-centered relationship. 5 stars for this beautiful story!
