Hazel and Dominic had me kicking my feet and giggling the entire time. The chemistry between these two was absolutely ridiculous, and the tension? Insane. Dominic was such an alphahole in the best way possible, and Hazel gave as good as she got, which made their dynamic so much fun to read. I expected Hazel to be a lot more timid because of how this story began but she held her own. Add in the slick talking, the spice, and all the swoony moments, and I was completely hooked. If you love a boss romance with an obsessed hero and enough chemistry to set your Kindle on fire this deserves a spot on your TBR.

My Sinful Boss by Jenna Rose is part of the multi-author Alphas in Charge series. I can't say I would want a boss like this but the story is a smexy, hot and entertaining read. Hazel Briggs is nineteen years old and living on her own. She just lost her job as a barista and is applying for any job she can find and sending out her resume to all sorts of companies. Dominic Blackwood is thirty-four years old and the CEO of Blackwood Capital. He has worked hard and single-minded to building his company into a successful firm, which has made him a billionaire. He is also a very handsome and sexy man. One of the thirty-seven applications she send out is with Blackwood Capital. It is Dominic's right-hand man who brings him her application and picture. When Dominic sees Hazel's face his whole world reorients to needing to make her his. So he makes up a job as his assistant, sends her an offer and a contract which includes two very distinct and illegal items. Let's just say that Dominic is about to enforce those items and Hazel is going to allow him.

Sweet, Fast-Paced Romance with a Happy Ending

Dominic and Hazel are absolutely adorable together. Both characters feel like they’re completely alone in the world and destined never to find their perfect match, which made it easy to root for them from the very beginning.

I found Dominic’s contract that “trapped” Hazel to be a little comical, and it added some fun moments to the story. This is definitely a fast-paced romance with a strong insta-love vibe, so readers who enjoy relationships that develop quickly will likely enjoy it.

My biggest issue was the timeline, which confused me at times. I also felt that the reveal of how Dominic and Hazel originally met was a bit anticlimactic. Personally, I would have preferred Dominic telling her the truth himself and then dealing with the fallout. Hazel discovering it on her own and having very little reaction didn’t feel entirely believable to me.

That said, I still really enjoyed the story overall. Dominic and Hazel were easy to love, and I appreciated getting the happy ending they both deserved.

Short but addictive slightly different so hang on you won’t put it down until the last page has been turned. Hazel is trying her best to keep her head above water but she is months behind on her rent, barely any food to each, has applied for every job, and when she gets hired she is so happy she didn’t bother to read the NDA and she fail to see the unique clause inserted by her boss no other employee’s contract has this clause. Dominic sexy as all get out CEO boss who inserted a clause into the NDA for his latest employee he knew the moment he met her she belonged to him, although he didn’t tell her, he is dangerous when needed, and will he explain what the clause means will she follow it to keep her job. The magnetic pull is from the time they meet her boss didn’t know she was just into him as he was into her and the more they are around each other the stronger the pull grows but will she agree to the NDA, will it go against him or work for him, and are they headed for happiness?

The contract was not a typical employment contract and the NDA and termination clause seal her fate. Dominic is a billionaire who set a trap for a girl who had no other choices. The premise of this book is wild but it’s well written and full of love. None of was what I expected but it was really good.

The characters were very complex and compelling and complicated and absolutely perfect together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was excellent and expertly drawn. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

There’s something about this author’s books that give written by a man…or perhaps written by AI that has primarily been fed misogynistic content. Her female chapters have zero common sense, the lowest self esteem, and fold for intimacy quickly. Plus this one had a few loose threads that weren’t caught in the editing process. Every few months or so, I want to give this author’s books a try, but when I do I remember why I hated them in the first place. Basically, I don’t like…but you might, so give it a try.
