Hope for the future of humanity
The third book in the series takes the main theme running through the series one step further. Wren has immunity to the Bloom, the fungi that has brought the world to a standstill. Jonah is her escort to a laboratory in Colordo.
Jonah's character is so unlike that of the Reapers in the first two books. He has taught himself so much and has his engineering mind firmly on the future.
One criticism which is not about the story it the front cover which totally ruins the image of the Reaper I had in mind. Not this young, clean cut image who looks as though he should still be at school at all! This image spoilt my enjoyment of the story to a certain extent, as it as implanted in my mind as I read and I couldn't reconcile it to the character written about.
