The Constellation Lounge

Rate this book
They say there’s a bar in New York that comes and goes as it pleases.

Adeline St. Clare isn’t one for mysteries. She runs a quiet bookstore, believes in logic over luck, and has no interest in chasing urban legends. But when a strange letter invites her to The Constellation Lounge, her daring sister drags her straight through its hidden doors.

Together, the St. Clare girls step into the hidden underbelly of New York, where time slows, stars bloom overhead, and magic breathes in every shadow. And behind the bar stands Callum—the dark-eyed stranger with a wedding band hanging from a chain around his neck.

One chance encounter leaves Adeline shaken.

Lucy remembers nothing of the night.

But Adeline remembers everything.

And when Callum begins slipping into her everyday life, she starts dreaming in memories that aren’t hers—moments filled with a man who feels achingly familiar.

Why does Callum smell like home?
Why does he look at her like he’s waited a hundred years?
And why doesn’t she want to run from the answer?

As their worlds intertwine, Adeline uncovers a truth that rewrites everything she knows about love, fate, and the bar that only appears when it chooses.

The way I devoured this book is insane. When I tell you I lost track of time, I’m not kidding. I could not put this down. This is a great slow burn (but with intensity!!) that will leave you wanting more with each page you turn. Rachel captures feelings and aspects of her characters in a way that made me feel like I was right there with them. If you want to laugh, then cry, then reconsider your feelings of love and magic being real, then this is the book for you.

Honored to have been an ARC reader and can’t wait for the rest of the world to experience The Constellation Lounge!!

I don’t think there are words adequate enough to describe this book, but I’ll try. This book had me swooning, giggling, kicking my feet, crying and every emotion in between. I was captivated from the prologue and i found it was impossible to put down. Addy and Callum hooked me from the beginning and although you are in the dark in the beginning, the clues start showing up and you slowly piece it together. Rachel did an incredible job of weaving a vivid and believable storyline and I wanted to dive in and experience it myself. HIGHLY recommend!

What a fun book!! I want to visit the constellation lounge myself!! This book was a good twist that isn't over played in the fantasy world. It has magic and a ancient love story. If I was to say one thing to the author it would be to add a Playlist!! This book speaks of great oldies and I found myself searching on Spotify for a Playlist. I put Nat King Cole on and felt like I was in the lounge having a cocktail.

My goodness! This has got to be one of my favorite books I've ever read and I've read hundreds so that says a lot.

I stumbled across this indie author on tiktok and immediately purchased the ebook and I AM SO HAPPY THAT I DID. Now I have to get a physical copy because this one deserves a spot on my shelf.

I had all the feels when reading this one. I LOVED Addy and Callum together. This story made me laugh and cry and the ending was PERFECTION.

Now let me go read all of her other books because my goodness, I think I've found a new auto-buy author.

5 magical stars for this absolutely beautiful story. ♥

Rachel truly did it again. From the very first page to the final line, I was completely transported. This was the kind of book that makes you willingly sacrifice sleep and responsibilities because putting it down simply isn’t an option.

In New York there is a bar called The Constellation Lounge and it hidden with only a select few invited in. Adeline and her sister get an invitation that changes the course of her life. After meeting the bartender, Callum, she starts to experience vivid dreams that leads her to a path of uncovering the mysteries behind the lounge.

Rachel has a way of writing characters that doesn’t just place you in their world, it places you inside their hearts. Callum and Adeline’s story consumed me. I laughed, swooned, kicked my feet, vibrated with anticipation, and ugly cried more times than I can count. The emotional range in this story is staggering. It thoughtfully explores grief, loss, longing, and hope, weaving intricate character development into every page with care and intention.

Adeline felt achingly real to me. Her longing to be loved fully, wholeheartedly and in a timeless, almost old-fashioned way, complete with flowers and letters, resonated deeply. And Callum? The devotion, the yearning, the lengths he goes to for his love gives him immediate book boyfriend status. No hesitation.

The emotional imprint this story left on me is hard to articulate. Rachel crafts worlds that feel vivid and immersive, and characters that linger long after the final page. I already know Callum and Adeline will stay with me for a very long time.

If you love stories filled with yearning, emotional depth, and an exploration of time, love, and what someone is willing to risk for their person, this is one you won’t want to miss.

ARC read: thank you to Rachel Lynn for the opportunity to read early.

I loved this book so much! What a cozy unique story that makes you believe in love again! I was reading this book as a family member was dying and I’ve cried like a baby. instantly in love with the characters

I read this book because I was highly intrigued after a colleague shared that Callum was her favorite book “boyfriend” ever. I was in the mood to read a good romance and this book did not disappoint. It was so heartwarming and I am so happy I read it and followed their love story and journey.

10/10 Recommend this Amazing Epic Love Story!! I received this as an ARC and absolutely fell in love!! Rachel knows how to draw you in and makes these characters feel characters feel like friends and family! The relationship that Adeline has with not only Callum but also with her sister, niece and parents are something that I love about her writing style. I will be thinking of these friends often wondering what they are up to. I definitely think Chase and Carter deserve their own stories so hopefully we will be back in this world soon!!

Wow, just wow! I was completely blown away by this book. It is exactly what I needed. I was in a book slump and saw this book on TikTok with the authors promotion and figured it sounded like it would be up my alley so I would gave it a try. I am so happy I did!!!! this book not only met my expectations, but far exceeded them. The fact that this is not traditionally published blows my mind- it absolutely should be.
The love story and the yearning is top-notch. This is a love story that transcends time and space- the author doesn’t really get into the magic system but as a paranormal/urban fantasy, that’s not unusual. The magic system is based in Irish culture/druid but that’s not what’s important. This is definitely romance first and magic second
This is a story of second chances, and finding a once in a lifetime love that you cannot live without, and the lengths that our MMC goes to find his love once again.
I would absolutely recommend reading this. I don’t wanna give any spoilers away, but it was just a beautiful love story.

I stumbled upon this book when she was promoting it on tiktok for pre-orders and immediately ordered it. I tried to not devour this book in one sitting and savor it, but it was so difficult. A love story with characters in their thirties that actively engage in multiple love languages and bring out the best in the other WHILE also avoiding the miscommunication troupe? 5 stars immediately!

While this beautiful love story brought to mind other tales of longing and love through time like the Unmaking of June Farrow, Peaches and Honey, and many more; I found it to be so special and sweet.

Wow. I have read many books in my time. Never one that made me truly grasp the ache these two felt for each other. A beautiful story of love and longing and something I can’t even put into words. It was truly an amazing and beautiful story that everyone should be lucky enough to read. As always Rachel puts a new definition on love and how far it can take you.

Words cannot describe how amazing this book is.

I've already recommended it to several friends and plan to shove my copy at them at every chance. Truly, I cannot get over this book. It's love and romance and hope and longing, some feelings I'm far too familiar with.

It captivated me so much I had to stop myself from reading it in one sitting.

Truly a 10 out of 10 book.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars | 🌶️ 1/5 Spice

The Constellation Lounge by Rachel Lynn was an easy 5-star read for me.

Adeline is a bookshop owner who loves her twin sister and family deeply, but has never quite found her place in romance. She yearns for the kind of soulmate love that feels old-fashioned—like something out of the 1920s or 30s—something lasting and fated. When she and her sister hear about the mysterious Constellation Lounge, a magical bar that can only be found by invitation, everything changes. After she submits her name on the bars website, an invitation arrives. Addy and her sister take the plunge and go to The Constellation Lounge. Once they find it, it’s not at all what they could have ever imagined. Frozen in time, they fully step into the moment and with it, Addy finds a whirlwind romance with a captivating bartender that feels almost too perfect to be real.

This book blends reincarnation, soulmates, and just enough magic to feel dreamy without being overwhelming. If you love stories that are,
destiny-driven romance, and emotional yearning (think Dracula but make it a love story with a HEA), this will hit so hard. It’s deeply romantic in that “you are worthy of devotion and love” way, and I loved the theme that true soulmates are worth waiting for—even if it takes a century to find them.

The spice is very light and mostly non-descriptive, so this is great for those who prefer emotional connection over heavy spice scenes. It’s so full of yearning and courting, it made me absolutely swoon.

Highly recommend if you love light magical realism, soulmate romance, and stories full of longing, heartbreak and fate.

I’m honestly struggling to find the right words to capture how much I loved this book, which probably says everything you need to know. The Constellation Lounge completely pulled me in and didn’t let go. From the atmosphere to the emotional depth, it felt immersive in a way that’s hard to describe but impossible to forget.
Rachel Lynn creates something really special here. The story has this almost dreamlike quality, yet the characters feel real and grounded. I’ll admit, at first I honestly thought the story was a little silly, but the writing was so good that it completely sucked me in and made me a believer. That’s not an easy thing to do, and it speaks volumes about the author’s talent.
There’s a beautiful balance between escapism and raw emotion that kept me turning pages long after I meant to stop. It’s one of those books where you pause every now and then just to take in what you’ve read.
What stood out most was the feeling it leaves behind. It lingers. It makes you think, reflect, and maybe even see things a little differently. Books like this don’t come around often.
All I can really say is this was amazing. An easy 5 stars, and one I’ll be recommending to everyone.

When Rachel first posted about this book, describing it, and asking for ARC readers, I knew, I just KNEW I had to ask to be one. In fact I think I said, “The way I need this book in my life immediately??”

The Constellation Lounge was such a dreamy, magical, wild adventure of love, loss and longing and ultimately finding the person you were made for and I truly couldn’t put it down. Reading how Callum and Adeline fell in love gave me goosebumps, and had me yearning for a love that spanned time and space (sorry to my husband).

I cannot wait for the world to read this book. It was magical and wonderful and enchanting and will stick with me. Thank you Rachel for choosing me to be an ARC reader, I am so lucky to have found you.

P.S. Listening to the playlist in the background just adds to the magic and was so incredible!

Ok, I’m back.
I almost did an all-nighter to finish this but work got in the way!
I just couldn’t keep away from this book- when I had a spare second it was in my hands.

The romance, the yearning, the banter- unmatched.

Honestly, I FELT like I was falling in love for the first time through the main character. I had butterflies and a cheesy grin on my face the entire time.
I think it wonderfully paired the real world sprinkled with fantasy and dabbled into reincarnation which was not expected and worked so well and beautifully for this story. Paired with finding your true self and loving you to love another.

I loved every single character and damn it I just want to be invited to one of their family parties!

Loved this book! I saw Rachel post about it on TikTok and knew I needed to read it immediately!

Super cute romance! A quick read and pretty cozy. If you’ve always wanted to own your own bookstore, I would definitely recommend picking this up. I would say it’s a 2/5 on the smut scale, more slow burn with a quick pop towards the end. Callum and Adeline are definitely made for each other and this is the type of love we dream of.
