This book covers 50 different mate in one chess puzzles meant for beginning players. The puzzles start out fairly easy, from simple king and queen versus king checkmates, then mates involving minor pieces, gradually increasing in difficulty to more complex mate in one positions.
This is a concise collection of mate-in-one puzzles, but I found the selection varied and instructive. It is definitely not a "lazy" collection of puzzles; there's some clever stuff in here, and the puzzles cover a range of key mating themes.
