I couldn't put the book down...Lawd a Murcy this story is Fiyahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
Georgia Sayers has found herself in Cabo San Lucas after discovering her fiance and best friend in bed the night before they were supposed to get married, now you want to talk about f*cked up, me personally I would have beat the brakes off of both of them (but alas its not about me lol!!). So instead of confronting them, she flees to the place that was to be their honeymoon spot but she traveled under a different alias and stayed in a different hotel of course. Georgia needed to get as far away from the pain of betrayal as possible and she wanted to do that by getting lost in meaningless flings with different men, to prove that she is not typical and boring like others have pegged her to be.
Drake Lincoln is in Cabo San Lucas also with his cousin Angel on a vacation ordered by their uncle, Angel is ecstatic because that means he can get laid 7 ways to Sunday, Drake on the other hand doesn't want to be bothered so after a botched blow job attempt by a vacationer, he takes off and heads to a club. The moment he sees Georgia walk in, number one he sees how nervous she is, number two he knows this is her first time attempting to pick up a man and number three what in the heck is she doing here alone. Drake watches her from underneath is fedora, while smoking a cuban cigar and like a predator she is now in his sights so when she approaches him, Drake knew he was going to give it to her in a way that she would never, ever forget.
Georgia about to pee in her panties when she approaches Drake, she knows in her heart that this man is dangerous and deadly but she wants him, she wants him to make her feel desirable and to forget her pain. Georgia discovers a family she has never known since she grew up in foster care when her mother died, now to find out she has living relatives right there in Philadelphia, Georgia sees Drake and its not a happy reunion at first but they get through it, now that Drake has Georgia in his life again, he will do anything to make sure she stays there. Including killing and destroying anyone that gets in his way. Drake has things in his past too, he didn't always start off in the Mob, Drake was CIA until an ugly set up almost cost him his life and he ended the life of the persons responsible, he is estranged from his family who he can't stand and will kill them if they get in his way. But with being pretty much third in command in of the Leonetti Family, it is Georgia that soothes him, nourishes him, loves him and completes him.
Drake will do anything for Georgia and when he finds out things about her he will not let her go, and when someone has the audacity to kidnap her, Drake will kill anybody and everybody to get her back, including family.
This story is filled with Mystery, intrigue, murder, unconditional love, hot and amazing sex, Alpha male to his core and a woman who has tamed his beast.
I can't wait for Book 2, this story was everything and the ending will have you screaming "WTH"?!?!?!?!?!?!

The story of Drake and Georgia is not your typical love story; they meet in Cabo, Georgia, a shy and sweet college professor has had a hard life to say the least, she believes she has final found love with her Fiancé Gavin and they are set to marry. On the night before her wedding, she finds her husband to be and her best friend in bed together. A devastated Georgia runs off to Cabo, their honeymoon destination alone. While abroad Georgia wants to prove she can be spontaneous and sexy so she sets out to seduce a stranger on her trip, and when she sees a sexy stranger, sitting all alone she makes her move she walks right over to him. Drake has bad boy written all over him. The former CIA agent turned Mafia Hitman for his uncles Philadelphia crime family, has the FBI hot on his trail so he is sent to Cabo to lay low for a couple of weeks. He and his cousin Angel are exploring what Cabo has to offer, but so far the women have left much to be desired for Drake. While having a drink at a local bar he sees beautiful woman walk in and low and be hold she walks right up to his table and makes him an offer he cannot refuse. The two spent one super-hot night together and part ways .While out at a local bar a strange man drugs and trying to kidnap Georgia, Drake rescues her and they decide to spend the next two weeks together. I love this book; it was so good I could not put it down! Drake and Georgia where two of the best characters ever, the story was put together well and had plenty of plot twist and turns that will keep you hooked and the sex was so hot I just about jumped in a cold shower! Georgia’s childhood made me just want to cry at how she was treated and Drakes brother, Cousin Eddie and parents made me want to slap them! I love that both where flawed and had some very serious baggage, but found love in each other. This is my second book by S.K.Lessly and if you read my review of Ruined you know I hoping the next book would be just as good and boy! Was it ever! S.K. is quickly climbing the ranks of my favorite author list!

This is my second book by this author.
SK has the gift of hooking you into her story and drawing you in and once she has you she does not let go.
This is Drake and Georgia's story. I like them both. I did want to shake Georgia a couple of times when she was not just straight up with Drake about what was going on in her life when he saw he again in Philly. However, I can totally understand how betrayed she was feeling by everyone in her life. At least Drake never betrayed her.
Warning about the language - the "F" word is used a lot in this book!
The story is engrossing and keeps you engaged and invested in the story!
This was a very good read and I would highly recommenced it.

This is the first time that I've read this Author and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Drake andGeorgia's love story wasn't the typical one. They meet Cabo San Lucas. He's there to lay low after some business goes bad she's there because she is hurting from a break upwith her fiancé. Georgia pushes a self to meet someone anyone and spots drake a real bad boy. He sees Georgia and he's immediately drawn to her. Warning The two of them getting together is explosive! Definitely a five star read if I could give it six I would. ;)

Okay I wasn't sure how this one was going to go for me after my initial shock of meeting Drake went. But basically, him & this book has left me like...
But what's the deal with the cliffy in the Epilogue? I was like..
So I'm waiting with baited breath for "Desired 2" I have faith I will get it fairly soon considering this author seems to push books out very fast. I'm hoping that's the case this time as well. Cos I really kinda was hoping to get a book concerning Angel.
Looks like I'm getting my wish *giggles*
But I would definitely recommend this read. It was intense, sexy, erotic & sweet. I loved the story. The layers within the plot. And the chemistry with Drake & Georgia
I'd recommend "Obsession: Loving an Alpha Male" as well. That one was the business too.
So I guess I need to go ahead & read the other in this series, that's already out as well; "Ruined"

I am going to give this a 3.6, after she takes that plane ride to Philly!! I just couldn't with this book after that, I felt like I was reading a summarised telenovela or something. After 40 percent it just wasn't for me from then on. But I have to finish what I start so I did.
I dislike just how awful the life of Georgia was just one awful decision after the other. I mean all the men in her life seem to just bad people and the women too. I just found it hard to relate and I began to feel sorry and worry for her instead of enjoy the book

So this book is about an Alpha male called Drake and a woman called Georgia. I won't lie, the reason I picked up this book was the Alpha male part. Sadly, to me this book was kind of bland and a let down despite the rave reviews.
I liked the storyline and it could have been an AWESOME tale but it fell flat. For one, the author TOLD us the story rather than making us SEE it. I know not many people will get it or care about it but a pet peeve of mine is an author just telling us stuff and expecting the reader to just go with it. No! that just irks me.
Second, the characters. Drake was an Alpha male in every sense of the word. He was all growly, possessive, aggressive and don't fuck with me. I like that but I was stupefied when this seemingly hot alpha started catching feelings for a virtual stranger in the first 30% of the book. Say what
I thought hot Alphas are all "I do not let emotion get to me" blah blah blah but Drake was spilling his guts out to a one night stand and I was like "Bro! not cool. Maybe you need Kristen Ashley's Mystery Men to teach you how to Alpha properly" HELL YEAH!
As for Georgia, she was a likeable character but for a lady in her 30s she was naive and gullible. She was somewhat immature and impulsive if not damn stupid at times. I mean who goes to a foreign place alone and decided to have a one night stand with a virtual stranger who could kill you in your sleep. I'll tell you who .. STUPID PEOPLE !!
Furthermore, I wanted to ask Georigia "Gurl, why you catching feelings and jealousy for a one night stand you specifically TOLD will only be a one night stand?". Yeah, I didn't get that part. He's hot and all but you don't know anything about him. He could be a serial killer to compulsive liar (just saying!)
Together, Georgia and Drake had a good balance. They were HOT HOT HOT together and their scenes were steamy.
Ultimately, the story to me is a 2 star because for one it moved TOO FAST. Seriously, it went from 0 to 100 in 2 seconds. There was no breather nor transitions and I found myself bored. Moreover, there were too many storylines going on. I felt the author could have focused on a few and developed those rather than throwing the entire book at out faces. Despite the rave reviews, mine is a 2 star because it was really amateurish. I'll read other books in the series though to see if the author improves.

Took me some time to finish it because I was busy with school. Also I thought it would be like Ruined where I couldn't really read it because the characters pissed me off. But this book right here (let me repeat that lol) this nook right here was amazing. OMG Drake is so damn fine and a total badass. And even though he had major issues he didn't let it stop him from loving Georgia. Georgia was strong and for a person with a lot of F***** up people in her life she remained calm and never lost herself. I loved the chemistry between then and even though the ended was definitely a cliffhanger I hope my answers are answered in Desired Too. If not I'm waiting for my answers to be answered.

Love it!!!!- BRAB ONLINE BOOK CLUB
This is the second book I've read by this author and I just love the way she writes. It is intense, gritty and exciting.
This is Drake and Georgia's story. They met while on vacation and the chemistry was instantaneous. The adventure was exciting from beginning to end and I couldn't get enough of the characters. My only disappointment was that it ended on a cliffhanger but I hope we won't have to wait long for the sequel.

Fantastic! Page turner from beginning to end,
I was at times frustrated with the characters. They were flawed, but they felt like real people, and people aren't perfect. The writing was great and the plot was fast paced and interesting. Will definitely check out more from this author.

Great book from beginning to end. Not your typical love story but you will fall in love with Drake and Georgia. Especially Drake. Full of suspense and did not disappoint. Looking forward to Part 2.

It felt like I blinked and this book was over. Another good one from SK.
I like the bad boy element in this book as most of her male characters that I’ve read are good guys but not drake Lincoln and call it fate or circumstance but Georgia sayers was put in his path for a reason. Enjoyable read

Crazy, high-stakes drama! If you do not have a taste for the overly dramatic, ridiculously-sexed out, with a sprinkling of ratchet, then this story ain't for you!

Her only problem is she let's the people who supposedly care about her the most walk all over her. She decides that ish is going to change, so she throws caution to the wind and enter Drake...

I am going to be in the minority with all my fellow GR readers on this one. This book was not as good as Ruined - Mason & Maxine's story. I disliked the heroine Georgia immensely, I found her weak & doormatish, I did not see her as smart or funny. For me she was an empty character - she could not even cook or sing or dress well, she came across as "big", she had nothing to her that told me this was a woman of some worth, and that for me is what let this book down. I kept comparing her to Maxine, who was a great heroine( funny, smart, strong, could at least sing well, cook and dress well!).
I am always amazed at how authors seem to get the heroes perfect every single time, no matter what genre you are reading, there is seldom something wrong with the hero and if he happens to be an anti hero all the better and Drake was no different - he was perfect.
Overall a good book (just over look the heroine) the story was well written and I liked the gritty part of the book.
I am now looking forward to book 2, hopefully it comes out soon.

Overall a good book (just over look the heroine) the story was well written and I liked the gritty part of the book.
I am now looking forward to book 2, hopefully it comes out soon.

OMFG, I read this book in like 5 hours!!!!! Drake was a mofo but likeable to me. I felt that the chemistry between these two was fantastic. I loved the layers of the story and I was surprised several times. This story kept my interest & I actually called a friend to recommend the book before I got to 50%.
A good girl looking to let loose with an anonymous bad boy is the premise, but this book is so much more. I can't wait to read Desired 2. I'm hoping it's Angels story. I've never read this author before but I'm about to online and check out some more of her work!!! :)

Explosively heart stop ride!!!!
This book had action, intrigue, comic relief, hot scorching sex and an ultimate love story. Georgia is a warm, smart, and sassy h. Drake is the ultimate bad boy, chivalrous gangster that knows how to fight and protect his woman.
An A+++ read. Ms Kresley this is your 2nd book that I have read. You are a stellar author I wait with abated breath for Angel's story. What an excellent way to end the book! This is must read one of my favorites!!!!!!

Have you ever read a book and you're trying to figure out what it is about that book that had you completely enthralled? Well that is the case with this book. Maybe it was Drake, the sexy Alpha Male, who can be sweet and dangerous to the core. Or Georgia, who was looking for love and family, or perhaps its the exceptional writing that made the characters and story feel so real to me. I..love..this..book! Can't wait to read "Desired Too".

This author is new to me, and I am really glad that I decided to read her book. The romance and sex was hot, and the actual story was interesting. I really enjoyed the writing by this author and will definitely read more by her.

And I thought I loved S. K. Lessly's writing after reading Ruined: Loving Male... This is an intense, exciting, and very sexy read. Drake Lincoln. Is. FIRE! It only took me a little while to get comfortable with his rough-around-the-edges personality, but when I did I was ready to be singed by his flame!
Drake and Georgia meet at a Cabo San Lucas club in/near their hotel. Georgia is staying for two weeks but Drake only planned to stay for a few days with his cousin Angel. At a club, Georgia approaches Drake and uncomfortably asks if he'd like to go back to her hotel room with her. (Georgia is determined to step out of her comfort zone and have a fling that night. When she spots Drake she wants him. Drake, amused and intrigued, goes back to her room with her. Immediately upon entering the room, Georgia says she has some rules ( #1: No kissing, #2: No Foreplay, etc) Drake listens attentively--- making a few wisecracks here and there--- while stripping. When Georgia's finished with her rules Drake shows her what a man like him thinks of rules: "He licked his lips and tugged at the sides of my panties, ripping them off with one motion... Did you hear what I said? He ripped the side of my panties apart and yanked them off my body in one motion! We need to pause a beat to let that soak in..." Their sex is so hot I think I singed my fingers on my kindle... Some of their verbal foreplay is so hot I singed my fingers on my kindle!
At the end of nearly two weeks together they go their separate ways: he to Philadelphia and her to Miami, but at the airport Georgia gets an unexpected call from an attorney and heads to Philadelphia, too! From here, there is non-stop action and suspense! Drake and Georgia just smoldered in Philadelphia. Fantastic read.
The only part that I had a problem with was the epilogue. I was livid! However, despite my disappointment with part of the epilogue I will definitely read the sequel, Desired 2, and another upcoming release, Obsession: Loving an Alpha Male!
EDIT: Oh, and Georgia's ... I call bullshit. After everything he'd already done to her he had just tried to Yeah, I would have eagerly blown his face through the back of his head, then pissed in his skull... Eagerly...

After re-reading this book and listening to the audio I have an updated pic for Drake. I can still see Scott Eastwood as a possibility, but Wentworth Miller IS Drake and Jessica Lucas is the perfect Georgia.

When you think the door of life has been shut closed in your face, God opens a window!
OMG... The toss and turns of the story plot was on point. S.K. developed Georgia's character with so much thought. Georgia just couldn't figure out what she did in her life to deserve the things that happened to her. Her life, from the time she was a young child, was hard and she was forced to grow up before her time which caused her to not trust people. When Gavin and Maya broke her with their indiscretion, that was the last straw. The twist in the story with Gavin not being whom Georgia thought he was mind-blowing. When Georgia finally found what she thought was her new family and to have them betray her as well, she turned to the only person she could and that was Drake Lincoln who turned out to be not only her saving grace but his as well. From the first time Drake saw Georgia, he wanted her and was determined to make her his. He had to deal with the dynamics of his own family with being thrown under the bus by his mother, father, sister and brother. The only family he had, was his uncle and his family, for this reason, Georgia is his saving grace with the beginnings of their own family. Dealing with his Uncle's son Eddie was another cog in his business and family relationship where he (Eddie) was selfishly trying to take out Drake and his father so he could take over the family business but it turns out that he was not capable or have the street smarts enough to do that. Drake was Georgia's window, even though Gavin and Eddie tried to take her out. She and Drake were still able to have their HEA.
This was a great suspenseful, well-written book to read. I enjoyed it and will read Desired 2. I hate CLIFFHANGERS!

This story of Drake and Georgia was very entertaining and a bit of a surprise. Georgia, a 30 year old woman, that finds herself in Cabo after a betrayal sends her there in need of some time to get her head right. Georgia described situations that she endured when she was younger that would make you think that she was tremendously street smart. Yet, she came across as very naive, especially at her age. For the most part, the character is likable, she had a tendency to be impulsive and immature at times. Part of me feels that her personal history maybe lent to her need to be wild and carefree or maybe the author felt that she needed that naivete in order to move certain aspects of the plot along. For whatever reason, it didn't take away from the story or make me want to stop reading. Drake is also a 30 something year old, yet he is quite the badass. He does his own thing and really doesn't give a flying frak what rules he is expected to follow. He was more of a well rounded mature character. He was the typical alpha so it met my expectations. His background/family dynamic was a little confusing to understand. Georgia and Drake had a good balance and their physical descriptions, although brief, made them seem like a really sexy couple. It had some good dirty talk, of which I am a HUGE fan, sex scenes weren't overly steamy,but enough to get the point across that they had fun in the sack. The story was fast paced, and felt a little to quick to finish up. Three star is my typical rating, so I'd be content with reading it again in the future. Another appeal was that it is offered on Kindle Unlimited.

4.5 stars. You know I'm into a book when I end up staying up late to finish it because I can't put my Kindle down! lol I really enjoyed this book! I enjoyed the character development and the way the author basically does a play-by-play of scenes in the character's mind. Like, what is she really thinking or is he thinking when x happens. You get character point of view and it really gives great insight and adds a realistic element to the events that take place throughout the book. Georgia and Drake meet at a resort in Cabo San Lucas and it starts off with a bang...literally. While I don't buy Drake being a real alpha, per se, because he falls for Georgia too quickly, but I did enjoy the way their relationship develops. It actually is realistic the way they hook up too, even though the other drama that surrounds their story isn' but, it adds excitement and drama to the mix and makes for a very interesting and adventurous story. I am looking forward to reading about Drake's cousin, Angel in Book 2.

Amazing!
Georgia and Devin Lincoln made you fall in love with being loved by an Alpha Male. Devin was there for Georgia when family and friends did her dirty. I really liked the setting of the book starting off in Cano it gave it the fairy tale feel. He was her ride or die!!! In most books it's the female character showing all the loyalty. The book had romance, sex, action, family, betrayal, and everything that makes a book unbelievably terrific! I have a new book boyfriend Team Drake!
