One reckless night. One impossible mistake. One woman she should never want.
Dr. Erin Walsh has worked too hard to risk her reputation. As a respected consultant in a high-pressure A&E department, she’s known for control, discipline, and always doing the right thing.
Until one anonymous night with a stranger leaves her shaken — and wanting more.
Nurse Sam Khan is new to the department and determined to prove herself. She didn’t plan on recognising the woman who stole her breath… standing at the front of morning handover.
Now they have to work side by side.
Stolen glances turn into lingering touches. Professional boundaries blur. And the tension between them becomes impossible to ignore.
But in a hospital where politics matter and gossip spreads fast, giving in could cost them everything.
Off the Record is a steamy sapphic workplace romance • Forbidden love • Age-gap tension • Slow-burn chemistry • Strong, ambitious women • High-stakes hospital drama
A good story and good beginning to a series. A little repetitious and verbose, but lived up to its name of being a slow burner. Will move on with the series, thank you.
I love a medical setting for a sapphic romance so I was pleased to find this book.
It does a good job setting out the repetitive nature of the A&E department, the shifts, the staff and the highly stressful work required. I might have liked a bit more of an overarching story arc, and less focus on this medical repetition, which became too much for me by the end
It was great to have a book set in Manchester, UK, rather than the USA. As an English person it just feels more realistic!
If this is book one, I’m going to need this writer to speed up her deadlines and deliver more of this series soon.
What did I like about this book? Pretty much everything. The chemistry between Sam and Erin was delicious. The side characters were woven in with such attention to detail I felt like I was working the floor with the team.
It was a treat to read this book and I very much wanted it to continue. A great read.
Sam and Erin were a lovely couple to read about. I really enjoyed the book. I was rooting for their relationship, especially when I wasn’t sure Erin would her head out of her behind.
Great first book in a new series. Lots of angst and tension but HEA does happen! Took a chance of this one and looking forward to the rest of the series!
