“I don’t know what to do with this kind of attention. I’m socially awkward, at best. I do really well in business settings, but when it comes to matters of the heart, the words, ‘epic failure’ come to mind.”
“I wanted to wait for him, continue talking to him, when I realize, I don’t even know his name and he never asked mine. I’m such a daft cow. Bloody hell. Here I am thinking there’s some beautiful connection to this stranger I met by happenstance on a plane when in actuality, he was just being nice effectively making the time fly by.”
“Needing that connection, just holding my hand, was more intimate to me that what we had just done.”
“He watches my eyes intently for what seems an eternity, searching them, for what I’m not sure but when he finds what he’s looking for, the corners of his mouth turn up in a delicious smile.”
“Everything about him produces an almost out-of-body experience I never want to recover from.”
Lol while I want to say short sweet and to the point... My intuition says Tyler was anything but! In yet another fabulous Stephie short story... We meet the anti karmatic Mila.... If day from hell had a picture.... I'm sure hers would be there..... let's not forget about Tyler...... With a hint o'ink and some serious hotness.... This was bound to be a hawt book. And in true Stephie style.... It was. While a shortish read, there was enough to require a shower and a quick run outside in the snow to cool down.
Really liked it, but I could have used a little more romance. This could easily turn into a full length novel since all the elements are there. I wanted to know more about Tyler's ink and Mila's deal with her job and traveling.
I also liked that this was about people in their mid 30's. Mila and Tyler meet on a plane bound for Houston, where he lives, but where she's traveling for business.
This is definitely an erotic short story and pretty hot! There's even a hopeful ending, which was nice, but I could have used a little more to satisfy the romantic in me, so I dropped it a star.
Oh my!! This quick story was by far the hardest read me, it had my breathing labored. So hot... breaks are needed between chapters!! Lawd have mercy Stephie Walls has one h*ll of a gift with writing...
